Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dalam penulisan hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan gambaran terkait kegiatan pelatihan menulis aksara Bali  pada anak-anak di Pasraman Amerta Sanjiwani  Desa Rincung. Aksara Bali  merupakan jenis aksara yang masih berkembang di Pulau Bali  yang merupakan bahasa tulis yang umumnya digunakan pada teks-teks suci dalam bentuk lontar. Anak-anak pada Pasraman Amerta Sanjiwani di Desa Rincung Kabupaten Lombok Barat merupakan warga keturunan Bali , secara umum anak-anak mengenal keberadaan aksara Bali  namun hanya sebatas visual sehingga pelatihan ini penting dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan penguatan dalam dasar-dasar menulis aksara Bali  dan membaca aksara Bali . Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan dan pembelajaran namun karena dalam keadaan pandemi Covid-19 proses pelatihan tetap mengedepankan pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara serta studi dokumentasi selama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berlangsung. Secara garis besar dalam proses pelatihan dan pembelajaran anak-anak terlihat antusias dan mulai memahami dasar-dasar bentuk dan penulisan aksara Bali  melalui model pendekatan dan pembimbingan secara langsung. Adapun dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat memberikan manfaat berupa penambahan wawasan pengetahuan mengenai aksara Bali  kepada anak-anak dan diharapkan pelatihan dapat dilakukan kemBali  untuk penguatan pemahaman tentang aksara Bali . Kata kunci: aksara Bali; pelatihan; anak-anak; agama hindu ABSTRACTThe purpose of writing the results of this community service activity is to give an overview of Balinese writing training activities to children in Pasraman Amerta Sanjiwani Rincung Village. Balinese script is a type of script that is still developing on Bali's island, which is a written language commonly used in sacred texts in the form of lontar. The children of Pasraman Amerta Sanjiwani in Rincung Village, West Lombok Regency, are Balinese, who know Balinese characters. However, only visually so this training is essential to understand and strengthen in the basics of writing Balinese characters and reading Balinese characters. This devotional activity is carried out using a training and learning approach, but because of a Covid-19 pandemic, the training process still prioritizes the implementation of health protocols. The data collection is carried out by observation and interview techniques and documentation studies during community service activities. In the training and learning process, the children seem enthusiastic and understand the basics of Balinese form and scriptwriting through a direct approach and mentoring model. Meanwhile, this community service activity can provide benefits in the form of additional knowledge about Balinese script to children, and it is expected that training can be done again to strengthen understanding of Balinese characters. Keywords: Balinese script; training; children; hinduism

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to give an describe about the strategies of Hindu religious teachers in maintaining interest in learning dance extracurriculars for students at Elementary School 117 Cendana Putih II. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by non-participant observation, free-guided interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the dance extracurricular learning process took place in three processes, namely first, the initial process of preparing the sound system, saying prayers, recording the number of students present, then warming up; second, the core process, namely dividing groups into each student, then doing exercises in turns in each group; and third, the final process is saying the closing prayer, finally tidying up the sound system. The obstacles faced by teachers in maintaining interest in learning dance extracurricular are: first, the lack of facilities and infrastructure; secondly the lack of trainers; third, the lack of make-up personnel during performances; fourth, students who are difficult to manage (naughty); fifth, lack of mastery of some dances. In an effort to overcome the existing obstacles, the strategies used by teachers in maintaining interest in learning dance extracurriculars are: first, practicing in the school yard and asking parents for help in completing the performance clothes; second, asking for help from students in training; third, asking parents for help in preparing students' performances; fourth, changing the way of learning; and fifth, providing training guidance specifically to sixth grade Students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach and is an ex post facto research using correlational associative analysis. Ex post facto research is research that examines causal relationships that are not manipulated or treated (designed and implemented) by the researcher. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses product moment correlation. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year. The magnitude of the influence of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and the character of class X students (rxy) is 0.378, while the contribution of WhatsApp social media is 14.28%. This means that there is another factor of 85.72% of the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year, with the contribution of using WhatsApp social media by 14.28%. Base on the research result, applied social media WhatsApp can be use in other learning.

Abstract

Community service through Balinese script training for students of the Dharma Amertha Sari Pasraman has great meaning and significance for efforts to preserve non-material culture and local wisdom passed down by Balinese ancestors. Even though they have settled on the Lombok Island which is the original residence of the Sasak people, the responsibility for preserving this culture still lies with the younger generation. This Balinese script training activity is carried out in four stages, namely Define (defining/exploring problems), Design (designing the service concept to be carried out), Develop (developing material that will be used as material in training activities), and Dissemination (dissemination of information/material provided designed for students). The methods applied in the training activities are in the form of lecture methods, practice methods and discussion methods. Through the implementation of the training stages and methods that have been designed at the end of the training activities, students of the Dharma Amertha Sari Pasraman have a basic understanding for learning Balinese script in the future, so that they can become part of preserving culture and local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to find a relationship between learning motivation and Students’ English learning achievement of STAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. This research is an ex post facto research using correlation analysis. Ex post facto research is research that examines causal relationships that are not manipulated or treated (designed and implemented) by the researcher. Research data were collected using questionnaires and tests. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation analysis. The conclusion of this study is: there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and students’ English learning achievement of STAHN Gde Pudja Mataram.
