Abstract

This article discusses the organizational dynamics of Muhammadiyah Islamic educational institutions. The purpose of this study is to find out how changes occur in the organization of Muhammadiyah Islamic educational institutions, including the factors that influence them and the programs developed to improve the quality and effectiveness of the education offered. Through socio-historical analysis with a historiographical approach, the factors influencing the development of this educational institution were identified, including political policies, social and cultural changes, technological developments, and Muhammadiyah’s educational thoughts and movements. Development programs developed to improve the quality of education are also reviewed, such as curriculum development, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, learning methods and technology, and cooperation with other educational institutions. The results of this study are that there are four dynamic periods of educational development in the Muhammadiyah organization, namely the pioneer period (1900-1923), the development period (1923-1/970), the development period (1923-1970), the institutionalization period (1970-1998), and the transformation period. (1998-present). In the 1970s, the development of Islamic education in the Muhammadiyah body began with the establishment of schools plus religion, which became the forerunner to the establishment of the Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect financial deepening in Indonesia. The variables used in this study is a Third Party Fund (DPK), Islamic Financing, Corporate Bonds, Sukuk to Financial Deepening in Indonesia. Analyses were performed using monthly time series data published by Bank Indonesia in the study period from January 2011 to December 2015.The analytical method used in this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The resulting regression model showed that the variables Third Party Fund (DPK), Islamic Financing, Sukuk, Sukuk Corporation together have an influence on Financial Deepening in Indonesia. Partial, this research supports the Third Party Funds (TPF) positive and significant impact on the Financial Deepening, whereas in Islamic Financing does not affect the Financial Deepening. In addition the results of this study showed Corporate Sukuk and significant negative effect on the Financial Deepening, and for Sukuk which means partially positive and significant impact on the Financial Deepening in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (TQM) di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, sebuah lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan manajemen institusional. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan untuk memahami bagaimana TQM diterapkan dalam konteks pesantren, yang melibatkan analisis terhadap kebijakan, prosedur, dan praktik yang diterapkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen, dengan partisipasi dari pimpinan pesantren, staf pengajar, dan santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TQM di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin melibatkan beberapa aspek utama, termasuk komitmen manajemen, pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi staf pengajar, serta keterlibatan seluruh elemen pesantren dalam proses peningkatan mutu. Meskipun terdapat tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan, implementasi TQM telah menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kualitas pembelajaran, pengelolaan administrasi, dan kepuasan para santri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa TQM dapat diadaptasi secara efektif dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, asalkan ada komitmen kuat dari semua pihak yang terlibat.

Abstract

At MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, particularly in class VIIc, many students are still less active in participating in Fiqh learning. This is due to the teacher not yet using effective methods that align with the material being taught, resulting in low student interest in learning and consequently low academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the demonstration method on students' interest and academic achievement in Fiqh for class VIIc at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, South Lampung. This research employs a quantitative approach with a post-test-only control group design, involving two groups in the sample. The population of this study consists of 67 students from class VII at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the sample taken from class VIIc, totaling 27 students. The data collection methods used in this study include questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed involve prerequisite tests, including normality and homogeneity tests, as well as hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the t-test (partial) for learning interest, it shows that the calculated t-value (2.664) > t-table value (2.059), thus it can be concluded that Ha₁ is accepted and Ho₁ is rejected. Meanwhile, for learning achievement, the calculated t-value (2.803) > t-table value (2.059), indicating that Ha₂ is accepted and Ho₂ is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect and a significant difference when using the demonstration method in increasing students' interest and academic achievement in the Fiqh subject at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, South Lampung, in the 2024/2025 academic year.
