Abstract

Pola budaya tradisional adalah produk dari tingkat pengaruh alam. Semakin tidak berdaya dan sekaligus semakin bergantung pada alam, semakin jelas pola budaya tradisionalnya. Jika adat-istiadat yang diturunkan dari warisan nenek moyang dipertahankan sepanjang kesinambungannya, maka tercipta tradisi dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis corak komposisi Data dan cerita dalam setiap penyampaian cerita La Galigo episode Malleleang Raunna La Worokelling ditengah khalayak Masyarakat Bugis di Kabupaten Wajo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Studi Pustaka, Wawancara, dan Pengamatan. Dalam pengelolahan data, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini menggambarkan langsung masalah penelitian tentang komposisi dalam konteks Spesifik Penyampaian La Galigo Episode Malleleang Raunna La Worokelling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk komposisi bahasa dalam naskah La Galigo Episode Malleleang Raunna La Worokelling, yakni bentuk majemuk yang unsur pertamanya menjadi pusat atau diterangkan oleh unsur penjelas atau menerangkan dan bentuk majemuk yang unsur-unsurnya tidak saling menerangkan, tetapi hanya berupa rangkaian yang sejajar atau kopulatif. Makna komposisi bahasa dalam naskah tidak bergantung dengan makna unsur yang membentuknya. Hal itu dikarenakan komposisi itu membentuk makna baru yang tidak sama dengan makna aslinya. Bentuk yang timbul dari proses komposisi bahasa Bugis dalam naskah La Galigo Episode Malleleang Raunna La Worokelling di Kabupaten Wajo ada lima, yaitu komposisi membentuk benda, komposisi membentuk kerja, komposisi membentuk sifat, komposisi membentuk keterangan, dan komposisi membentuk persona.

Abstract

This research will explore the life journey of a prominent Indonesian writer, Putu Wijaya. His life history is traced especially his connetion to  traditionality and modernity, starting from childhood until graduating from high school in Bali, as a student to his graduation in Yogyakarta, then moving to settle and making art in Jakarta. The three places gave him an intense understanding of the traditionalities of Bali, Java, and the Archipelago. At the same time, the three places also provide him with an understanding of modernity. The various forms of traditionality and modernity mingled in Wijaya’s works, traditionalities such as fairy tales, wayang stories, and even mystical things that do not make sense also influence Wijaya's way of thinking. Meanwhile, one of the important modernities that also influenced him since childhood was Indonesian language. The language was chosen and designed based on the modern thinking of linguists Von de Wall, HC Klinkert, and Van Ophuijsen from the Dutch colonial state. Wijaya's mingling of traditionality and modernity allows him to write fluently various things, including the absurd and the absurd. His understanding of himself and his readers who were victims of feudalism and colonialism, made him write literary works to make his readers think more freely. This makes Wijaya's literary works tend to have a postmodernist style

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of pemali as the value of local wisdom in the Maros of District in Bontoa and Maros Baru sub-district, analyze how the meaning of pemali on the behavior of coastal communities in Maros of District, and how the function of the pemali towards local wisdom is in the behavior of the coastal communities of Maros District.The method used in this study is a qualitative method that is describing the form, function and meanings of verbal and non-verbal pemali.  Data collection was conducted through surveys and direct interviews with coastal communities in Maros of District. The results of this study indicate that. Verbal form the guards of pemali in coastal communities of Maros District, including: The words Cappu/Tena/De’gaga (completed), Tassala (detached), Pettu (broken off) Cappak (butt end), and Mate (dead) aqgeaq-geaq (be at odds), Abbaju eja je’ne-je’ne ri tamparanga and (bathing on the beach using red clothes) Appoloi bangi, (whistle). And the of non-verbal pemali coastal communities in Maros District, including; Tettong ribawang/Ammenteng  ritimungang, (stand at the door) Aqboko (backward). Tinro mopang atau tinro mappang, (sleep face down). Appatinompang (face down the container), Pasampo ulu atau Songko Punggawa,  (headgear). Nipiralluangi pa’riolo kanang, (step with your right foot), the meaning of pemali shows religious meaning and social meaning and the function of pemali shows that the function is to protect oneself and as a function of culture.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of name in the society. Refuting the linguistic and the philosophy of language view that consider name serves only to designate or to distinguish one person from another, from the ethnological research, it is learnt that name represent culture. It reveals the cultural values and the dynamics of intercutultural interaction of a community. Through the naming practices in Kajang, a Makassar sub-ethnic, it is revealed that name is not only artificial feature but essential one. Mentioning a name in appropriate manner is considerd to invite the danger. Also, the preference of the name used show that while Kajang community is largely viewed as a traditional community, opposing to the modernity and other feature from outside, actually they have absorbed and adopted partly the Islamic values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna narasi-narasi dan ilustrasi gender yang terdapat dalam buku tematik terpadu siswa kelas I pada kurikulum 2013 di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, observasi, dokumentasi dan catat. Dalam pengelolahan data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori Semantik dan Nature. Hasil menunjukkan Makna ilustrasi dan narasi dalam perpektif gender dapat berpengaruh dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar siswa pada buku tematik terpadu siswa kelas I pada kurikulum 2013 di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan metode yang tepat dan melibatkan semua siswa, pengelolaan kelas seperti pembagian tempat duduk wali kelas membagi secara acak tanpa melihat jenis kelamin dan prestasi siswa dan melakukan pergantian setiap bulan sekali agar siswa tidak merasa jenuh, dan pergaulan siswa khususnya yang terjadi di luar kelas terjadi interaksi antar siswa. Siswa laki-laki biasanya bermain dengan sesama gender sedangkan begitupula pada siswa perempuan yang bermain bersama teman perempuan untuk mempermudah para siswa memilih permainan yang siswa lakukan. Fator-faktor yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan pendidikan dan karakter anak untuk menghindari bias gender dengan memperkenalkan pendidikan terhadap kesadaran gender terhadap anak-anak sejak dini, hal ini karena ditahun-tahun pertama kehidupan dan menanamkan nilai-nilai dan karakter yang dinilai baik di masyarakat.

Abstract

This research aims to describe gender equality in the narratives and illustrations contained in the integrated thematic books for class I students in the 2013 curriculum in elementary schools. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection methods used were literature study, observation, documentation and note taking. In data processing, we use a qualitative approach using Nature theory and semantics. Based on the results of the research and discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the substance of the book's content contains gender inequality. Gender inequality is reflected through illustrative images and story text which fall into three categories, namely (1) Gender inequality in trait values, (2) Gender inequality in work roles, and (3) Gender inequality in hobbies. Each category depicts a woman who is feminine, weak, irrational, emotional and plays a lot of roles in domestic matters. Women are not in an equal position with men who have a masculine attitude and are able to play a role in public matters. Gender bias can influence student teaching and learning activities, such as: using appropriate methods that involve all students, classroom management such as assigning seats to the class teacher, dividing them randomly without looking at the gender and achievement of the students and changing them once a month so that students don't feel bored. and student interactions, especially those that occur outside the classroom, involve interactions between students. Male students usually play with members of the same gender, while female students also play with female friends to make it easier for students to choose the games they play
