Abstract

Financial ratio analysis of a company is one of financial performance assessment that are very useful to management in making plan for both short term and long term. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of financial statement analysis carried out by Hotel Ciater Spa & Resort in 2013 and 2014. The research method used is descriptive method. From the results of analysis show that the level of liquidity ratios, solvency, and operational is quite high, while the ratio of profitability has. fluctuated and the ratio of the activity has not been fully effective.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the relationship between service quality and tourist satisfaction in Lebakmuncang Tourism Village, located in Bandung Regency. The research emphasizes the importance of service quality in enhancing visitor satisfaction, particularly within the framework of community-based tourism. Research Methodology: A descriptive quantitative approach was used in this study. Data were collected from 95 tourist respondents through a structured questionnaire utilizing the Likert scale. The instrument was adapted from the SERVQUAL model and included additional dimensions such as willingness to serve, openness, reputation, and credibility. Results: The results indicate that tourists provided highly positive evaluations of various service quality dimensions, including physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and emotional aspects. These assessments correspond with high levels of tourist satisfaction in terms of contentment, enjoyment, favorable impressions, and overall experience. Conclusion: The study confirms a strong correlation between service quality and tourist satisfaction. Quality service not only boosts visitor loyalty and destination appeal but also supports operational efficiency through positive word-of-mouth. Limitations: This study is limited to a single destination and uses self-reported data, which may not capture broader variations or longitudinal changes in perception. Contributions: This research contributes empirical evidence to the tourism service literature and offers strategic insights for stakeholders in community-based tourism to enhance service delivery and destination sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to show the implementation of feasibility study for the hotel project by using Political, Economic, Social, and Technological (PEST) analysis, Porter’s five forces and Resource-Based View (RBV). A case study was conducted in a full-service independent four-star hotel project in Bandung, Indonesia. This study used a direct observation from the researchers in the hotel project and secondary data analysis from related documents to support the investigation. Finally, It also used capital budget calculation for recommendation for the feasibility of the hotel project. It showed that apparently the hotel X investment is feasible to proceed. Some recommendations are given for hotel owners related to the business environment analysis and in creating a feasibility study specifically design for the hotel business. Managerial implication of this study can be useful for companies in making the right decisions in the development or expansion, and to minimize the long-term losses. Limitation of this research is in only analyzing one hotel in a four-star classification; further analysis can be applied in different location, classification, and different types of hotel service.
