Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the principle of cooperation in the Sidi-Sidi meeting of the Maranatha Waijoi-Jikomoi Congregation. This research was conducted at the Maranatha congregation in Waijoi village. The data collection techniques for this research are observation and documentation in a qualitative approach. In identifying research data, researchers use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results found in this research are that the principle of cooperation in the side meeting of the Maranatha Waijoi-Jikomoi congregation is viewed from the pragmatics of conversational implicature that 1) the maxim of quantity of the principle of cooperation at the side meeting of the Marantha congregation of the 24 utterances found contained the maxim of quantity as many as 6 utterances which is considered cooperative; 2) the maxim of quality in the principle of cooperation in the Maranatha congregation's sidi-sidi meeting from 24 utterances containing the maxim of cooperative quality, 10 utterances; and 3) the maxim of relevance in the principle of cooperation in the Maranatha congregation's sidi-sidi meeting. Of the 24 utterances found that contained the maxim of relevance, 8 utterances were considered cooperative. Abstrak Penelitian ini bermaksud mengetahui penerapan prinsip kerja sama dalam rapat Sidi-Sidi Jemaat Maranatha Waijoi-Jikomoi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di jemaat Maranatha desa Waijoi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu observasi, dan dokumentasi dalam pendekatan Kualitatif. Dalam mengenalisis data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajianan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini bahwa prinsip kerja sama dalam rapat sidi-sidi Jemaat Maranatha Waijoi-Jikomoi ditinjau dari pragmatik implikatur percakapan bahwa 1) maksim kuantitas prinsip kerjasama pada rapat sidi-sidi jemaat Marantha dari 24 tuturan yang ditemukan mengandung maksim kuantitas sebanyak 6 tuturan yang dianggap kooperatif; 2) maksim kualitas dalam prinsip kerjasama dalam rapat sidi-sidi jemaat Maranatha dari 24 tuturan yang mengandung maksim kualitas yang kooperatif sebanyak 10 tuturan; dan 3) maksim relevansi dalam prinsip kerjasama dalam rapat sidi-sidi jemaat Maranatha dari 24 tuturan yang ditemukan yang mengandung maksim relevansi sebanyak 8 tuturan yang dianggap kooperatif.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and describe taboo expressions in kinship greetings in the Galela language in order to provide understanding to the Duma Village community, West Galela District, regarding the use of kinship greetings correctly in order to maintain the norms of kinship greetings in the Galela language. This study uses qualitative methods by relying on content analysis techniques. In collecting data using direct participatory observation method in Duma Village, West Galela District. Taboo expressions in kinship greetings in the Galela language found two taboos, namely greeting taboos based on politeness norms that are used as life guidelines in interacting with others, especially in kinship relations, namely greetings baba, baba ria, dodo, meme ria, oa, ria, bira, nongru, ete, topora, memes ma awa, dunu, tunu, awa ma awa, awa ma baba, hodo/moli, toroa, tiopo, tapu, dapu, and doroa/mod'oka. The greeting taboo based on mystical norms is always related to supernatural powers. The people of Duma Village, West Galela District believe that the taboo of kinship greetings in the Galela language contains a mystical power known as giki i tapano (reprimand of ancestral spirits) related to illness, accidents, and household disputes found in the greetings of baba, baba ria, dodo, happy memes, oa, ete, topora, memes ma awa, dunu, tunu, awa ma awa, and awa ma baba.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of swearing language used by teenagers in Wai-Ina Village, Kabau District and to find out the context of the use of swearing language used by teenagers in Wai-Ina Village, Kabau District. This research method is a qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies to obtain information about the swearing language used by teenagers in Wai-Ina Village, Kabau District and the context of its use. The data analysis techniques in this study are in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study prove that the form of swearing language in the dialect used by teenagers in Wai-Ina Village, Kabau District in their interactions falls into several categories, including 1) categories of animal names, types of professions, types of characteristics, types of objects, and slang. 2) The swear words from the research results are kadai, sundal, basagig, faf nana, batamila, ban baba, panyakbes, basaknau, bajaminto, biadab, anjay, mulu ember, otak udang, anjing. 3) The function of the coarse language used by teenagers in Wai-Ina Village, Kabau District in their social interactions is used as a form of expression to convey the feelings or thoughts of teenagers such as anger, disappointment, admiration, surprise, greetings, and sarcasm.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of problems regarding learning interest and Indonesian learning achievement. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning interest and student learning achievement in the 2015 Indonesian Language and Literature education study program STKIP Kie Raha Ternate. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Language Study Program STKIP Kie Raha Ternate. The implementation time is 3 months. The population of this study were all 2015 Indonesian language and literature students and the sample used in this study was 35 students. The instrument used to obtain data in this study was a questionnaire and documentation in the form of a student achievement index (IP). The data obtained were analyzed using correlation test. After analyzing using the correlation test it turns out that there is a significant relationship between learning interest with the learning achievement of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature education study program year of 2015 STKIP Kie Raha Ternate and the magnitude of the relationship of learning interest with the learning achievement of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature education study program year 2015 STKIP Kie Raha Ternate is (0.021) 2 or 4.41%.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of 1) Describing the form of vulgar language used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela District. 2) Knowing the context of the use of vulgar language which is often used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela District. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Through this qualitative descriptive method, the researcher will describe the use of swear language by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela District. The place of research used by researchers for research (observation) is in Duma Village, West Galela District. Researchers conducted research in Duma Village with the consideration that researchers are part of the Duma community so that it will facilitate researchers in the data collection process. The time needed in this research is 2 (two) months, starting from May to July 2020. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. To perform data analysis, researchers used qualitative techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study prove that 1) the form of vulgar language (swearing) used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela Subdistrict, there are two forms, namely cursing which is used based on the form of word units used by Duma adolescents in smaller word units and cannot be broken down again. In addition, there are curses used by teenagers in the form of phrases in the form of units that do not exceed the limits of the elements of the grammatical function. 2) The context of using vulgar language (swearing) which is often used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela Subdistrict, is a form of emotional outburst when angry, teasing friends, joking, admiring, and insulting fellow teenagers. The context of the use of cursing by teenagers in Duma is both conscious (intentional) and unconscious (unintentional).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the use of composition in the news of the Malut Pos newspaper, November 2020 edition, including internal and external composition. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study also explores the form of verbal compound words that are paired with nouns, adjectives, adverbs. And how the process of combining words and words, words and main words, or main words and main words cannot be separated from each other. The data source in this study is the Malut Pos newspaper, November 2024 edition. The reason for using the data from that edition of the newspaper is because in addition to the many uses of composition, the documents are also complete.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine students' ability in writing poetry using the nature learning method in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sulabesi Tengah (2) describe the nature learning method can improve the poetry writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sulabesi Tengah. The type of research used in Kurt Lewin's classroom action research (PTK). The results of this study prove that the application of the nature learning method is proven to be effective in improving students' poetry writing skills. This is indicated by an increase in the average class value from 57.00 in the pre-cycle, to 75.75 in cycle I, and increasing again to 83.00 in cycle II, student learning completeness experienced a significant increase, namely from 20.59% in the pre-cycle, to 55.88% in cycle I, and reaching 94.12% in cycle II. Thus, the indicator of research success (> 85% of students achieving KKM) was achieved in cycle II.
