Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of 1) Describing the form of vulgar language used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela District. 2) Knowing the context of the use of vulgar language which is often used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela District. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Through this qualitative descriptive method, the researcher will describe the use of swear language by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela District. The place of research used by researchers for research (observation) is in Duma Village, West Galela District. Researchers conducted research in Duma Village with the consideration that researchers are part of the Duma community so that it will facilitate researchers in the data collection process. The time needed in this research is 2 (two) months, starting from May to July 2020. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. To perform data analysis, researchers used qualitative techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study prove that 1) the form of vulgar language (swearing) used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela Subdistrict, there are two forms, namely cursing which is used based on the form of word units used by Duma adolescents in smaller word units and cannot be broken down again. In addition, there are curses used by teenagers in the form of phrases in the form of units that do not exceed the limits of the elements of the grammatical function. 2) The context of using vulgar language (swearing) which is often used by adolescents in Duma Village, West Galela Subdistrict, is a form of emotional outburst when angry, teasing friends, joking, admiring, and insulting fellow teenagers. The context of the use of cursing by teenagers in Duma is both conscious (intentional) and unconscious (unintentional).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan psikologis tokoh dalam buku Sepotong Hati yang Baru (SHB) yang disorot dari aspek id, ego, dan super ego. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis konten. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat, yang bersumber dari buku SHB karya Tere Liye, berjumlah 206 halaman. Analisi dilakukan dengan perekaman/pencatatan data, selanjutnya proses inferensi dan analisis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan unsur id, ego, maupun super ego sama-sama muncul dalam novel SHB. Akan tetapi, kehadiran dimensi id terkadang dapat dipahami melalui unsur ego dan super ego. Artinya, ada peristiwa psikis satu yang tidak muncul secara tekstual, tetapi dapat dipahami karena ada peristiwa dua. Dengan demikian, untuk memahami unsur id harus dilihat sebagai proses yang memiliki hubungan sebab-akibat.

Abstract

Belajar merupakan proses hubungan (koneksi) antar peristiwa atau unit menta dengan peristiwa atau unit fisikal yang membentuk proses stimulus-respons. Gejala dan peristiwa yang terjadi dalam lingkungan menjadi perangsang (stimulus) terhadap proses mental yang tidak dapat dilepakan kaitannya dari prose fisikal (respons) terhadap rangsangan tadi. Oleh sebab itu, penggunaan pendekatan stimulu-respons dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bagi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pulau Makian dalam pengajaran bahasa Indinesia perlu diarahkan agar peserta didik mampu berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Indonesia secara efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan etika yang berlaku, baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 1 Pulau Makian. Hal ini peneliti lakukan dengan pertimbangan bahwa peneliti merupakan anak daerah yang berdekatan dengan lokasi penelitian tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket, dalam pendekatan deskiptif kualitatif. Dalam mengenalisis data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan berupa kualitati dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus uji persentase. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, bahwa pendekatan Stimulus-respons dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pulau Makian mengalami sustu proses yang lazim. Dikatakan demikian, karena sejak awal penelitian, peneliti melalui dengan pra tindakan siswa kelas II SMP Negeri 1 Pulau Makian belum mampu untuk berbicara dengan baik, sesuatu dengan konteks. Namun, ketika peneliti melakukan tindakan berupa pemberian dorongan serta penguatan kepada siswa dapat mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Tetapi tindakan pertama melalui siklus I belum memenuhi tingkat ketuntasan belajar itu sendiri, akhirnya, dapat ditindaklanjuti pada siklus II dengan pencapaian ketuntasan belajar yang baik, sehingga penelitian ini dapat diselesaikan hanya cukup pada siklus II. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pendekatan Stimulus-Respon pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, keterampilan berbicara siswa mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan tersebut berupa pemahaman konsep tentang situasi dan konteks saat berbicara secara klasikal, yaitu sebesar 3,28% yaitu dari pra tindakan sebesar 55,61% menjadi 60,78% pada siklus I. Dan peningkatan sebesar 13,9% yaitu dari tindakan siklus I sebesar 60,78% menjadi 75,06%. Keberhasilan tersebut dapat dikatakan karena dari perbandingan pada pra tindakan ke siklus I (tingkat kualifikasi cukup) dan dari siklus I ke siklus II (tingkat kualifikasi baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan unsur-unsur kalimat Bahasa Indonesia melalui metode struktural analitik sintetik pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula. 2) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan menentukan unsur-unsur kalimat Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula melalui melalui metode struktural analitik sintetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Rencana penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahap kegiatan utama yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi (pengamatan), dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini berlokasi di SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula pada bulan bulan April sampai bulan Juli 2020. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan teknik tes dan teknik non tes. Untuk melakukan analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa hasil kemampuan menentukan unsur-unsur kalimat Bahasa Indonesia siswa dengan menggunakan metode struktural analitik sintetik mengalami peningkatan sebesar 20,19% yaitu dari 66,38% menjadi 86,56%. Hasil belajar siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar pada siklus I skor rata-rata diperoleh siswa bahwa dari 16 siswa yang mengikuti tes terdapat 4 siswa yang mencapai nilai kurang, 5 siswa mencapai nilai cukup, 6 siswa mencapai nilai baik dan 1 siswa mencapai nilai 1, jika dipresentasekan berdasarkan ketuntasan belajar, siswa yang nilainya mencapai 43,75% , sedangkan yang tidak tuntas terdapat 56,25%, peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu mencapai 20,19%. Berdasarkan hasil belajar pada siklus II ini, maka ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula menggunakan metode struktural analitik sintetik untuk meningkatkan kemapuan menentukan unsur-unsur kalimat Bahasa Indonesia telah tercapai dengan ketuntasan minimal yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 75

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of looking at the forms of injustice experienced by women based on marginalization, stereotypes, and violence experienced by the main character in the short story "Don't Go Home If You're a Woman" by Riyana Rizki Yuliatin. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that 1) female characters experience stereotypes as girls who live in villages that uphold customs, the choice to go home after being rushed in the merariq tradition is considered a disgrace that not only embarrasses herself but also the woman's family and even the village. 2) The main character also gets marginal treatment from fellow women who live in the village. By making the main character a bad example for girls who are not optimal when doing housework. 3) The main character also received verbal violence not only from his own family but also from residents around the village.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how the social criticism contained in the film In the East of the Sun by Ari Sihasale and its implications for the study of sastra in high school. Penelitian aims to interpretthesocial criticism contained in the film In the East of the Sun by Ari Sihasale and describe its implications for literature learning in high school. The research method is carried out by the literature method and the note-taking technique. In the data analysis method, qualitative descriptive methods are used. The results of this study found several social criticisms including (a) social criticism of educational problems (b) social criticism of the problem of poverty and (c) social criticism of inter-tribal wars. The results of this research are then used as literature teaching materials in high school. This teaching material is in accordance with basic competencies, namely finding values in short stories with a time allocation of 2 x 45 minutes. In addition to the short stories (based on the film In the East of the Sun) the teaching materials used by an audiovisual show are in the form of the film In the East of the Sun. The film contains a lot of life value and close educational value in everyday life.

Abstract

Language shift in general is a phenomenon, where the words and phrases of one language are replaced by those of another language. The causes are the attitude of language users who consider other languages ​​to be more trendy and easier to use, language loyalty, and the continuity of mother-tongue transfer between generations. Language shifts are also caused by schools. School is a factor causing the shift in students' mother tongue because schools usually teach foreign languages ​​to children. This is also sometimes the cause of the shift in the position of regional languages. One of the symptoms of language shift which is the object of this research is East Macanese (BMT) to Ternate Malay (BMTe). The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the manifestation of the shift from BMT to BMTe in several areas, including: time, family, maritime, agricultural and general. This research uses descriptive research methods according to contextual problems obtained through initial observations and has been planned in the research proposal. The location of this research is Loid Village, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. This location was chosen because it is a concentration of 5 regional languages ​​and Ternate Malay which often switches codes and mixes codes.

Abstract

Bakayab Customs Hi terms and symbols that need to be understood, each symbol in the series of customary implementations and the equipment used during the event is full of meaning. Unfortunately, the Bakayab Hai custom is only known by certain circles, for the younger generation this custom is only a ritual passed down from generation to generation without knowing its meaning. This research aims to describe the meaning of the symbols in each series of the Bakayab Hai traditional process as a whole which is related to learning based on traditional culture or ethnopedagogy. This research uses a qualitative approach because in this research data will be interpreted and presented in descriptive form or explanations in the form of words. The results of the research show that each series of processes in the Bakayab Hai tradition is related to culture-based learning or ethnopedagogy.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis dedication presents a detailed overview of how ecological discourse can increase environmental awareness and knowledge among children and adolescents. The aim of this activity is to educate children and teenagers about the importance of protecting the environment, the impact of environmental damage on society, and stopping practices that damage the environment. This service was carried out in Rua Village, Ternate Island District. The results show that children and teenagers are aware of the environmental problems that occur. Environmental problems identified in the Rua sub-district include poor waste management, such as throwing rubbish into the sea, rivers, and beaches; cutting down trees, which results in floods hitting the village; and abrasion, which causes landslides on the coast. After education was carried out, children and teenagers were able to recommend several solutions related to the problems that occurred, such as planting more trees on the coast and in the forest, providing rubbish bins in schools and public places, making and installing notice boards prohibiting littering, and cutting down trees.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi guru dan orang tua/wali murid PAUD Pembina 2 Kota Ternate. Kegiatan ini merupakan hasil analisis guru dan orang tua. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan empat tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan diikuti oleh guru dan orang tua/wali murid PAUD Pembina 2 KOTA Ternate. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran para guru dan orang tua/wali murid PAUD tentang pentingnya membaca. Selain itu, peningkatan kemampuan guru PAUD Pembina 2 Kota Ternate dalam mempraktikkan membaca nyaring dengan teknik yang benar.
