Abstract

The huge potential of zakat in Indonesia makes it an opportunity for zakat institutions in Indonesia to collect zakat funds from the public. Based on the 2020 Census data by the Central Statistics Agency, there are 270 20 million people in Indonesia. 70.72% are of productive age, which can be a potential muzakki zakat income, and 85% are Muslim. However, the income zakat collected in Indonesia is still relatively small. At the same time, the number of zakat institutions in Indonesia is enormous. This study uses quantitative methods, and the research data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to donors containing questions related to donors' behavior in giving donations to Lazismu, Magelang City. So it is found that the data that the donors who secure their contributions through Lazismu Magelang City are not because of the problem of whether or not their financial strength is sufficient or not to meet their daily needs but because of the high level of concern among others.

Abstract

This study investigates how Computerized Accounting Information Systems (CAIS) and task–technology fit (TTF) shape employees’ perceived usefulness (PU) and, ultimately, sustainability performance in the heritage-tourism context of Borobudur Temple, Indonesia. Grounded in Task–Technology Fit theory and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study employed a purposive survey of 80 CAIS users. Data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to examine the hypothesized relationships among information quality, system quality, service quality, task characteristics, technology characteristics, TTF, PU, and sustainability performance. The results reveal that only information quality significantly enhances TTF, whereas system quality, service quality, task characteristics, and technology characteristics have no direct effect on TTF. TTF strongly predicts PU, which, in turn, positively influences sustainability performance. Theoretically, these findings extend TTF and TAM by showing that, in a heritage-tourism setting, high-quality information is the critical antecedent of TTF, while system quality, service quality, task characteristics, and technology characteristics are not significant. Practically, managers should prioritize improving the informational attributes of CAIS (accuracy, relevance, and timeliness) to increase user fit and perceived benefits, thereby fostering sustainable operational performance.

Abstract

Abstract Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play a strategic role in both local and national economic development, including the food and becerage sector, which continues to grow in the post-pandemic era. UMKM Keripik Paru Bu Pur Salatiga is one of the key players in Salatiga’s flagship industry, specializing in processed beef lung products. This enterprise faces limitations in production capacity due to the lung slicing process still being carried out manually. This issue leads to low production efficiency and restricted order fulfillment. To address this challenge, this community service initiative aims to design a lung slicing machine based on appropriate technology, tailored to the unique product characteristics of Salatiga, particularly wide and unbroken beef lung slices. The method employed in this program is a participatory design approach, actively involving the partner throughout all stages, ranging from field observation, needs analysis, design using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, design validation, to implementation planning. The outcome of this activity is a finalized design of an ergonomic lung slicing machine that is easy to clean and has a minimum capacity of 30 kh/hour. The design has been submitted to a mechanical engineering workshop to support the manufacturing process and is scheduled for full implementation in the next phase. This initiative is expected to serve as a sustainable solution to enhance the competitiveness of UMKM Keripik Paru Bu Pur. Keywords: lung slicer; UMKM; appropriate technology; participatory design; beef lung chips.
