Abstract

With the progress of industry, power electronic equipment is widely used in power system, it has produced serious harmonic distortion. It goes without saying that harmonic analysis is a very important subject in power system. The influence of harmonics dominant because it is permanent. This harmonic influence spread to energy systems, energy devices, and influential to the energy source. For that, it is necessary a tool that is able to overcome these problems so that the electric energy services are not compromised and the reliability was not reduced. This study how to harmonic analysis, total harmonic distortion, and identifying the inverter at a solar power plant 320WP in accordance with the IEEE 519-2014.

Abstract

The Aufia Global Islamic Boarding School (PP AGIBS) is in the village of Minas Jaya, Minas District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The PP AGIBS curriculum emphasizes Islamic education, so it contains little in the way of science and technology competencies, such as Solar Power Plant Installation Engineering. (PLTS). In general, the village of Minas Jaya is around the former PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia, which used to be the largest oil mining company in Riau Province, and most of its residents worked at Chevron as unskilled laborers, such as cleaning staff and security personnel. The presence of PP AGIBS is very strategic considering its location around the community; however, PP AGIBS has a moral responsibility to contribute to the social issues faced by the community in the Minas Jaya village. Therefore, PP AGIBS needs to collaborate well with the University of Riau and the Minas Jaya village government to facilitate communication with the residents of Minas Jaya on issues outside the scope of Islamic studies, such as the high dropout rate among teenagers. One of the solutions implemented to address the issue of school dropouts is the initiation of the AGIBS Taruna Course and Training Institute (LKP) development. To realize the initial steps of this LKP development, several activities and role distributions were carried out. Among them, PP AGIBS contributes as the provider of infrastructure, including location, office space, office supplies, and other related facilities, while the service implementation team from Riau University provides human resources as instructors and supplies training equipment for PLTS installation techniques. With the synergy between Riau University and PP AGIBS, it is hoped that school dropouts can gain competence in the field of PLTS installation techniques.

Abstract

Pencahayaan ruangan yang dijadikan objek penelitian adalah pencahayaan pada perumahan PT Pertamina (Persero) RU II ProductionDumai. Perumahan ini sebagian besar merupakan ruangan yang digunakan untuk keluarga. Penentuan pencahayaan ruangan pada ruangan-ruangan tersebut saat ini masih dilakukan secara objektif, belum terdapat perhitungan yang jelas dalam penentuan tingkat pecahayaannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat optimalisasi sistem pencahayaan ruangan kondisi eksisting dan melakukan upaya perbaikan untuk menuju sistem pencahayaan ruangan kondisi ideal. Upaya untuk menuju kondisi ideal tersebut adalah dengan melakukan pengukuran, perhitungan dan analisa terhadap tingkat pencahayaan, daya lampu total, biaya investasi dan biaya pemakaian listrik dengan menggunakan metoda logika fuzzy. Untuk validasi data digunakan software Matlab. Pada kondisi eksisting seluruh ruangan masih terbilang kurang baik, dengan nilai lux < 50 lux dan optimasi 60%, sehingga berdampak baik karena telah mencapai tingkat pencahayaan minimum masing-masing ruangan berdasarkan fungsi ruangan yang telah direkomendasikan sesuai dengan SNI 03-6575-2011 yaitu ruang tamu dengan lux 200 atau ruang kamar tidur 150 lux.
