<![CDATA[This research aims to measure the effectiveness of the application of portfolio-based learning methods compared to the application of conventional methods in economics subjects, the main subject of government policy in the field of economics for class The subjects of this research were students in class X semester II of MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Utara, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023. Class X consists of classes X IPS 1, X IPS 2 and X IPS 3 totaling 42 students. Learning using the portfolio-based learning method is more effective than learning that only uses conventional methods in economics subjects, the subject of Government Policy in the Economic Sector for class X students in semester II at MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Utara for the 2022/2023 academic year. The effectiveness of this portfolio-based learning method can be seen from the average learning outcomes of students in the experimental group which have achieved a score of more than 65, namely 74.14 and the average learning outcomes of the control group which is smaller, namely 68.35. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana keefektifan penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis portofolio dibandingkan dengan penerapan metode konvensional pada mata pelajaran ekonomi pokok bahasan kebijakan pemerintah dalam bidang ekonomi kelas X semester II di MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Utara Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X semester II MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Utara Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Kelas X terdiri dari kelas X IPS 1, X IPS 2 dan X IPS 3 berjumlah 42 peserta didik. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis portofolio lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan metode konvensional pada mata pelajaran ekonomi pokok bahasan Kebijakan Pemerintah dalam Bidang Ekonomi peserta didik kelas X semester II di MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Keefektifan metode pembelajaran berbasis portofolio ini bisa dilihat dari rata- rata hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelompok eksperimen yang telah mencapai nilai lebih dari 65, yaitu 74,14 dan rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok kontrol yang lebih kecil yaitu 68,35.]]>
