Abstract

Background: Nurses are the majority health workers in hospitals that have a very large contribution in improving the quality of health services provided to patients. Based on the research of Sulung (2013), it was found that career development was a variable that significantly affected the quality of nursing services. Objective: To determine the factors that influence nurse career development. Method: This study used a cross sectional approach with a sample of 103 nurses. Data was collected using a questionnaire compiled by researchers. Data analysis was performed in univariate, bivariate (chi-square) and multivariate (multiple logistic regressions). Results: Factors related to career development were: displacement/rotation (p = 0.003), opportunity to grow and develop (p=0.001), and organizational policy (p=0.032). The most dominant displacement/rotation factor is related to career development (OR =10,820). Conclusion: In developing nurse careers, hospitals must pay attention to aspects of displacement/rotation, opportunities to grow and develop and organizational policies.

Abstract

The elderly also often experience degenerative diseases that reduce immunity, hypertension, heart disease, stroke, diabetes mellitus, oral problems and Rheumatoid Arthritis joint disease. Some of the factors that affect the occurrence of Rheumatoid Arthritis are gender, genetics, nutritional status, and knowledge. Aim to identify the factors that affect the occurrence of Rheumatoid Arthritis in the elderly in the Working Area of the Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2024. This study uses descriptive analysis with a cross sectional approach. The data used is primary data and secondary data. To find out gender, genetics, nutritional status, and knowledge data using questionnaires. The data wasanalyzed using the chi square test. The results of the study were obtained by most of the 40 (65.6%) respondents whoexperienced rheumatoid arthritis, most of the respondents 39 (63.9%) were female, more than 36 (59%) respondents had a genetic history, as many as 11 (18%) respondents had poor nutritional status, and as many as 23 (37.7%) respondents had less knowledge. The results of statistical tests found that there was a relationship between gender (p= 0.000), genetics (p= 0.006), nutritional status(p= 0.01), and knowledge (p= 0.004) with the occurrence of rheumatoidarthritis. The conclusion in this study is that rheumatoid arthritis is caused by various factors, namely genetic factors,gender factors, nutritional status factors and knowledge factors.

Abstract

Game online adalah permainan yang dapat diakses oleh banyak pemain, dimana mesin-mesin yang digunakan pemain dihubungkan oleh jaringan internet. Game online memiliki dampak positif yaitu bisa meningkatkan keterampilan fisik dan juga kemampuan intelektual dan fantasi pada siswa. Dampak negatif game online bagi siswa yaitu waktu untuk belajar akan terbuang sia-sia dan siswa menggunakan waktu luang hanya untuk bermain sehingga dapat menyebabkan prestasi belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa menurun. Motivasi belajar adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan prestasi belajar. Asumsi yang diperoleh dalam motivasi belajar dapat dilihat dari prestasi belajar dan aspek kognitif siswa. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas bermain game online terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi siswa di SMPN 2 Sikur. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kuantitatif korelasional dengan desain cross-sectional study. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Stratified random sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 110 siswa yang bermain game online di SMPN 2 Sikur kelas 7 dan 8. Hasil: Berdasarkan uji statistik korelasi rank spearman hubungan intensitas bermain game online dengan motivasi belajar didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,090 > 0,05 dan hubungan intensitas bermain game online dengan prestasi siswa didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,629 > 0,05 yang berarti H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan antara intensitas bermain game online dengan motivasi belajar dan prestasi siswa di SMPN 2 Sikur. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diharapkan bagi guru beserta orang tua lebih memperhatikan anaknya terutama mencakup aktivitas anak dalam menggunakan teknologi yang perkembangannya saat ini semakin pesat terutama dalam membangkitkan motivasi dan prestasi siswa melalui IPTEK.
