Abstract

Kepulauan Banyak merupakan gugusan pulau di barat daya Aceh Singkil, terkenal dengan sumber daya perikanannya yang melimpah. Sehingga, banyak nelayan menggunakan alat tangkap rawai dasar karena ramah lingkungan dan memerlukan biaya yang relatif kecil sehingga terjangkau oleh nelayan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil tangkapan rawai dasar mata pancing nomor 7 dan nomor  9 di Perairan Pulau Banyak, Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan nelayan dan observasi langsung selama satu bulan dari Februari hingga Maret 2024. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mata pancing nomor 7 menangkap 8 spesies ikan, dengan ikan kurisi (Nemipterus sp) sebagai tangkapan tertinggi (27%), sementara ikan pari (Desyatidae) sebagai tangkapan terendah (0%). Mata pancing nomor 9 menangkap 10 spesies ikan, dengan ikan kurisi sebagai tangkapan tertinggi (35%) dan ikan kerapu sunu (Plectropomus leopardus) sebagai tangkapan terendah (2%). Analisis CPUE (catch per unit effort) mengungkapkan bahwa ikan kuwe (Epinephelinae) memiliki nilai CPUE tertinggi sebesar 14,9 kg/trip, diikuti oleh ikan kurisi sebesar 9,8 kg/trip dan ikan kerapu sebesar 9,2 kg/trip. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diambil kesimpulan bahwa alat tangkap rawai dasar dengan mata pancing nomor 7 yang paling efektif untuk menangkap ikan demersal di Perairan Pulau Banyak, Aceh Singkil.

Abstract

Ikan merupakan komoditas yang mudah membusuk dan cepat rusak akibat kandungan air yang tinggi sehingga rentan terhadap penurunan kualitasnya, upaya untuk menjaga kualitas ikan sangat bergantung pada metode penanganannya untuk memastikan mutu ikan tetap segar, layak dikonsumsi, dan memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik penanganan hasil tangkapan kapalpurse seineKM. Atha Droe ketika melakukan pendaratan hasil tangkapan di PPS Kutaraja serta mengetahui kualitas mutu ikan hasil tangkapan kapalpurse seineKM. Atha Droe yang di daratkan di PPS Kutaraja. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli-Desember 2024 di pelabuhan perikanan samudera (PPS) Kutaraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif. Analisis yang digunakan dalam proses penanganan pendaratan hasil tangkapan yaitu analisis kualitatif dengan menyajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan bagan alir serta penentuan mutu hasil tangkapan melalui pengujian organoleptik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses penanganan pendaratan hasil tangkapan kapalpurseseineKM. Atha Droe belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diatur dalam Keputusan Keputusan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Republik Indonesia Nomor 52A/KEPMEN-KP/2013. Mutu hasil tangkapan kapalpurse seineKM. Atha Droe menunjukkan bahwa ikan layak dijual dan aman untuk dikonsumsi karena nilai organoleptik spesies ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 8,0 dengan kategori mutu masuk kedalam kategori kesegaran ikan masih baik (advance) dengan nilai skor 7-8 dan spesies ikan layang (Decapterus sp) sebesar 7,0 dengan kategori mutu masuk kedalam kategori kesegaran ikan masih baik (advance) dengan nilai skor 7-8.

Abstract

Aceh Barat Daya is a land area of Aceh which is directly opposite the Indian Ocean. The fishing gear in Southwest Aceh Barat Daya includes; hand line fishing gear, long line fishing gear, tug line fishing gear, ring trawl fishing gear, beach trawl fishing gear, floating chart fishing gear, gill net fishing gear. The purpose of this study was to identify environmentally friendly fishing tools based on the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (CCRF). Data collection was carried out by interviewing fishermen using descriptive methods. This research was conducted in November 2021. The results of this study indicate that environmentally friendly fishing gear are; tuna longline, tug line, hand line, gill net, floating chart, ring trawler. Abstract

Coastal fisheries play a vital role in supporting food security and livelihoods in Aceh, Indonesia. Among the various fishing methods used by artisanal fishers, the beach seine remains one of the most traditional and culturally significant gears, passed down through generations and still widely practiced in Gampong Pulot, Leupung District, Aceh Besar. Despite its importance, studies on the species composition and ecological implications of beach seine operations in this area remain limited. This study aimed to identify the types of fish caught using beach seine gear and analyze their composition to better understand the ecological characteristics of the catch. The research was conducted from January to March 2025 using a survey method, collecting both primary and secondary data through field observations and literature review. Results showed a total catch of 2,926.5 kg, comprising 16 fish species. The dominant species were bluefin trevally (Caranx melampygus, 28.43%), anchovy (Stolephorus indicus, 22.66%), and yellowtail scad (Carangoides ciliaris, 19.55%). The findings indicate that the beach seine fishery in Gampong Pulot mainly targets schooling pelagic species, which are ecologically important and economically valuable.
