Abstract

South Korea is one of the developed countries that have succeeded in developing popular culture to increase the potential for tourist visits to the country. This study aimed to investigate how Korean culture is represented in the characters displayed in the LINE application and in the visual presentation or decoration design in the LINE Friends Store so that it can be accepted globally and can attract tourists to visit the LINE Friends Store. The study was conducted with a qualitative interpretive method using the Charles Sanders Pierce’s semiotic approach. The focus of the study was to describe the representation of the signs displayed in the LINE application characters and in the decoration design or visual presentation in the LINE Friends Store using icons, indexes, and symbols. The result of the study showed that what is displayed in the LINE Friends Store can provoke consumers' interest to come and shop because the products offered there have a cultural closeness which has global characteristics and all of them are displayed in a form that emphasizes the popularity and success of modern development. The role of LINE application, whose products have been globalized, has become a very effective driving force to further popularize the LINE Friends Store tour.

Abstract

This investigation was conducted in Pacarejo Village with the participation of thirty people. This activity was a follow-up to the second year of research, with the objectives of: 1) Increasing participation and strengthening the commitment of Gapoktan of Sembada, Pacarejo Village by planting Indigofera tinctoria as an alternative plant with a fixed price that can improve people's income, 2) Realizing additional land, provision of seeds, and matrices for planting Indigofera tinctoria plants to meet the availability of sustainable raw materials, and 3) Providing assistance in care. The expected outputs to achieve an independent village are as follows: 1) Realization of a Cooperation Agreement for planting Indigofera tinctoria on at least 2 hectares, 2) Development of a planting system, plant care, and harvesting methods with optimal and sustainable quality, and 3) Availability of natural dye raw materials extracted from Indigofera tinctoria leaves that meet raw material quality standards and are sustainable. This research effectively improved the well-being of the residents of Calonejo Village, particularly the Gapoktan Sembada, Pacarejo Village by increasing the Indigofera plant nursery productivity of farmers. This research was successful due to the conclusion of a cooperation agreement to plant Indigofera tinctoria on an area of 3 hectares, the establishment of a planting system, plant care, and harvesting methods with optimal and sustainable quality, and the availability of raw materials for natural dyes extracted from Indigofera tinctoria leaves with optimal and sustainable quality. Information session, Group Discussion Forums (FGD), Training, and Direct Assistance methods are used.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Korea untuk Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia (CPMI) tujuan Korea saat ini tidak hanya dilaksanakan secara tatap muka saja, tetapi juga dilakukan secara daring melalui berbagai media atau aplikasi pembelajaran. Namun demikian, media atau aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Korea yang ditujukan untuk pemahaman materi latihan soal bahasa Korea berbasis Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency in Korean (EPS-TOPIK) Computer Basic Test (CBT) belum dikembangkan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengembangan Aplikasi EPS-TOPIK CBT berbasis website diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dan kemajuan di bidang teknologi informasi yang berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran dan pemahaman kebahasaan Korea EPS TOPIK CBT. Sehingga kemudahan, manfaat, sikap, dan keinginan dalam menggunakan aplikasi EPS TOPIK CBT berbasis website ini dapat mendukung kelulusan ujian EPS-TOPIK CBT sesungguhnya. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuisioner dalam variabel pertanyaan model Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) secara deskriptif. Pengaruh penggunaan EPS TOPIK CBT berbasis website ini oleh CPMI mendapatkan jawaban yang positif atau kesetujuaan, baik dari segi kemudahan penggunaan teknologi, manfaat yang didapat saat menggunakan aplikasi ini, penambahan dalam pemahaman materi bahasa Korea EPS TOPIK, dan keinginan untuk terus menggunakan aplikasi ini ke depannya. Dengan harapan tujuan untuk lolos ujian EPS TOPIK CBT sesungguhnya dapat tercapai. Kata Kunci: eps topik cbt, bahasa Korea, cpmi
