Abstract

Socialization and education regarding customs regulations for small entrepreneurs will be very useful for the development of Small Businesses, which is very important in the current conditions, where the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the national economy, especially for Batam. This service leads to socialization and education of regulations related to customs for small entrepreneurs. This community service activity aims to provide socialization and education related to customs regulations for micro, small and medium enterprises in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The target of this service is SMEs in Batam. The purpose of this service is to: 1. Provide socialization of customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 2. Provide education on customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 3. Know the understanding of small entrepreneurs about customs regulations that encourage exports for small entrepreneurs and understand the understanding of shipping regulations. The method that will be implemented is by conducting online training, providing pocket books and motion graphics videos. The expected result is the existence of pocket books and motion graphics videos that can be accessed by small business actors, MSMEs, companies and the community. This service is one of the implementations of Project-Based Learning for courses in international trade law and taxation as well as international trade.

Abstract

Keputusan konsumen untuk menggunakan suatu aplikasi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbandingan pengaruh Time saving, Money Saving, Pendapatan dan Kemudahan Penggunaan Terhadap Keputusan Mahasiswa di Kota Batam untuk Menggunakan Online Food Delivery Services pada Aplikasi Grab Food dan Go Food. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Kriteria responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Kota Batam yang pernah menggunakan aplikasi Grab Food dan Go Food. Teknik pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS. Hasil perbandingan dari penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara Time saving, Money Saving dan Pendapatan Terhadap Keputusan untuk Menggunakan Aplikasi Grab Food. Hasil kedua dari penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara Time saving, dan Pendapatan Terhadap Keputusan untuk Menggunakan Aplikasi Go Food.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identified the influence between individual characteristics variables, situation stimulus, social media, digital marketing, which influence the implicit purchasing behavior variable (Y) in live streaming shopping with hedonistic motivation. (Z). Samples were taken from as many as 150 respondents, processing data using Smart PLS. The results of the t (significance) test show that individual characteristics, situation stimuli, and digital marketing have a positive and significant influence on implicit purchasing behaviour in live streaming purchases, social media have a negative and significant impact on implied buying behavior in steaming live purchases. Results of the analysis of variables show hedonistic motivation can affect individual characteristic, incentives in situations, Social media, digital marketing on the results of implicit buying behaviours in live stream purchases have a significant positive influence, and hedonist motivations can affect the perception of facility for implicit shopping behaviors in live streaming purchases with a positive, significant impact.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam adalah kurangnya akses terhadap informasi dan pengetahuan yang dapat membantu mereka dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan pendapatan usaha, terutama dalam bidang pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan brand value. Oleh karena itu, rumusan masalah dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan digital marketing dan media sosial dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan brand value UMKM serta berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan pendapatan. Tujuan khusus dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan literasi dan edukasi digital yang diperlukan oleh UMKM di Kota Batam untuk meningkatkan brand value serta berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan pendapatan dan membantu UMKM memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada saat ini secara mandiri. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan diselesaikan dalam 6 tahapan. Adapun tahapannya yaitu; studi literatur, identifikasi kebutuhan, pembuatan rencana pendampingan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditargetkan dapat diselesaikan hingga bulan Desember Tahun 2023.

Abstract

This study tries to determine the impact of influencers and word of mouth on purchasing decisions with live streaming as a moderating variable on cosmetic and fashion products. This study uses the population of Batam City People who have used the Shopee application. This quantitative research uses the path analysis method as the data analysis technique. Data collection will be done by distributing questionnaires to the Batam City community. Using the Lemeshow formula, 150 respondents were obtained in Batam City. The research findings show that influencers have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions on cosmetic and fashion products, word of mouth has a positive and significant impact on buying decisions on cosmetic and fashion products, live streaming as a moderating variable weakens the influence of influencers on purchasing decisions on cosmetic and fashion products, and live streaming as a moderating variable strengthens the impact of word of mouth on buying decisions on cosmetic and fashion products

Abstract

This study analyzes the causes of overstocking and implements a more accurate forecasting method for planning the inventory of single-phase prepaid kWh meters at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Surakarta. The primary issue is the discrepancy between demand forecasting and actual purchases, which is attributed to ineffective forecasting methods and a lack of adaptation to dynamic economic conditions. To overcome this problem, this study uses two methods, namely interviews and ARIMA forecasting. The interview results, which are summarized and visualized in a fishbone diagram, identify the main root causes of the problem as two factors: human and method. From the human side, the lack of communication and coordination between staff and departments is a crucial factor. Meanwhile, from the method side, the use of ineffective forecasting methods and the lack of optimal utilization of historical data resulted in inaccuracies in demand planning. To overcome the method problem, this study applied the ARIMA method to historical data. The analysis results show that the ARIMA (1,0,0) model is the most accurate forecasting model, proven to be significant because it produces a p-value of 0.001 with an error rate below 10% and produces the lowest AIC value. This high accuracy indicates that the model can predict future demand very well. This recommendation provides a significant contribution to PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Surakarta in making more accurate procurement decisions, optimizing inventory management, and minimizing ongoing financial losses.
