Abstract

There are three purposes of this study. First, describe the writing skill level of exposition text of VIII studentsMTsN 2 Padang before using problem based learning (PBL) model. Second, describe the writing skill level of exposition textofVIII students MTsN 2 Padang after using problem based learning (PBL) model. Third, describe the influence of problem based learning (PBL) model onwriting skillof exposition text of VIII students MTsN 2 Padang. This research type is quantitative with experiment method. Abstract

The main focus of this study is to examine the influence of several factors, namely brand image, product quality, fashion lifestyle, and product price, on thrift shopping purchasing decisions. This research aims to assess the impact of brand image, product quality, fashion lifestyle, and product price on thrift shopping purchasing decisions, with a case study of the people in Ponorogo Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who had made thrift shopping purchases. The results of the study show that brand image does not affect thrift shopping purchasing decisions, while product quality, fashion lifestyle, and product price have a significant impact on thrift shopping purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the students' perceptions on the use of Google Classroom on listening comprehension subjects during the course of the Covid19 pandemic. In this study, the method was quantitative research and the instrument used was a questionnaire designed by Chyntia (2018) and Shaharanee et al. (2016). There were 20 items in the questionnaire. Eighty-five students from the English Study Program at Universitas Riau participated in this study. The data were analyzed using frequency and mean. The findings indicate that the students positively perceive the use of Google Classroom on listening comprehension subjects. The results show that the Google Classroom used in listening comprehension subjects was efficient because the application became an alternative way to conduct learning activities from home. The students agree that Google Classroom is an efficient, comfortable, and economical application for listening comprehension subjects.
