Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih ada diantara guru-guru di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri Se-Kecamatan Lempuing Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir yang belum maksimal dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya (kinerja), apakah hal ini disebabkan oleh kepala sekolah kurang memberdayakan guru-guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja guru. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah Pengaruh Pemberdayaan Guru oleh Kepala Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri Se-Kecamatan Lempuing Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh Pemberdayaan Guru oleh Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri Se-Kecamatan Lempuing Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir.Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 10 Sekolah di mana total guru sebanyak 118 orang. Sampel penelitian menggunakan apabila populasi kurang dari 100 maka semua dijadikan sampel dan apabila lebih dari 100 maka sampelnya bisa diambil 15-20,20-25%. Metode peneitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji signifikan (uji t).Berdasarkan analisis peneliti, hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pemberdayaan Guru oleh Kepala Sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung> ttabel (3.176>1.70113).Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh Pemberdayaan Guru oleh Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri Se-Kecamatan Lempuing Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir.Artinya, semakin baik Pemberdayaan Guru oleh Kepala Sekolah, maka semakin tinggi Kinerja Guru. Disarankan bagi Sekolah, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan khususnya. Bagi guru, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai motivasi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa terutama untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Bagi peneliti, dengan melakukan penelitian ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang kepemimpinan kependidikan untuk menambah bekal sebagai calon guru. Abstract

Untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas, dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia unggul agar dapat mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki siswa, terutama dalam membangkitan dan memotivasi sikap belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis penelitian, dimana variabel sikap belajar (X) memperoleh jumlah skor 3372 dan variabel prestasi belajar (Y) memperoleh jumlah skor 3368. dan nilai rhitung yang didapat dari hasil perhitungan lebih besar daripada nilai rtabel (0,7022?0,2542) maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sedangkan thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (6,314?1,682), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh sikap belajar,  terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, jadi dapat disimpulkanbahwa: semakin tinggi sikap belajar maka akan semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Berbagai studi telah dilakukan dalam upaya menggali dan menganalisis variabel kecerdasan Adversitas yang memiliki keterhubungan dengan hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Untuk penelitian kali ini, peneliti lebih fokus pada sekolah menengah kejuruan. Adakah Hubungan Antara Adversity Quotient Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran Di Sekolah Menengah Kejujuran Negeri 1 Palembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Antara Adversity Quotient Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran Di Sekolah Memengah Kejujuran Negeri 1 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan metode korelasi. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan angket yang disebarkan ke 40 siswa sampel penelitian, dokumentasi untuk memperolah data nilai akhir rata-rata semester ganjil T.A. 2021-2021.  Angket terdiri dari satu variabel yaitu variabel (X) Adversity Quoient  dengan 33 item pernyataan, sedangkan variabel (Y) Hasil Belajar Siswa mengambil  data dari nilai semester akhir. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pearson product moment dan analisis hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis peneliti,  Berdasarkan analisi diatas, menunjukkan bahwa antara variabel X (adversity quotient ) dengan variabel Y (hasil belaajr siswa) menunjukkan nilai korelasi pearson atau rhitung yaitu 0,548 pada taraf 5% dan nilai rtabel  yaitu 0,312. Dari nilai rhitung dan rtabel yaitu 0,548 > 0,312 sehingga menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y cukup kuat Jadi, Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara adversity quotient dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the  direct and indirect influence of lecturer performance variables on grade point average through learning motivation at the Palembang City Private University. Total samples of this study are 386 respondents taken with accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis uses a path analysis. The results show that: 1) directly, the lecture strategy and lecture evaluation have a significant effect on student learning motivation. While the appearance and discipline of time and lecture material do not affect student learning motivation significantly; 2) directly, lecture material, lecture strategy, lecture evaluation, and student learning motivation have a significant effect on grade point average. While the appearance and time discipline do not affect grade point average significantly; and 3) indirectly, the motivation variable can mediate the influence of lecture strategy variables and lecture evaluation on grade point average. While the lecture material does not have a significant effect on the grade point average through motivation variables as a mediation variable. https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v6i2.2444

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intellectual intelligence on student learning outcomes. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach and uses the correlation method. This research technique uses a questionnaire distributed to 40 students of the research sample, documentation to obtain data on the average final grade of odd semesters. Questionnaire for the Intellectual Intelligence variable with 29 statement items, while the Student Learning Outcomes variable takes data from the final semester scores. Data analysis used pearson product moment analysis and hypothesis analysis. Based on the analysis, it shows that between the Intellectual Intelligence variable and the Student Learning Outcomes variable shows a strong Pearson correlation value. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of intellectual intelligence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the effect of principal management, teacher performance on students' interest in learning. This research uses quantitative methods. The population of this study were students of State Elementary School 79, State Elementary School 88 and State Elementary School 83 in the Jakabaring area of Palembang City specifically for class VI, totaling 468. The sample was taken 216 from 468 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant influence between the management of the school’s principal and the performance of the teachers together on student’s learning interest. It can be seen from the ANOVA test or F-test, that principal’s management and teacher’s performance have a significant effect on interest in learning. So, the interest in learning can be improved significantly by principal’s management and teacher’s performance. This means that the higher of the quality school principal's management and the higher of the teacher's performance level, will grow the student's interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the duties of a principal as a leader and as a manager to improve the competence of teachers, staff, and all students in the school. As a leader, the principal must be able to provide guidance and supervision, as well as increase the willingness and ability of education staff, open two-way communication and be ready to delegate tasks. As a manager, the principal can deal with various problems at school, thinks analytically, conceptually, always tries to be an intermediary in solving various problems. For this reason, a school principal needs to have the right strategy to establish a harmonious relationship with the environment and have the right strategy to motivate education staff in carrying out various tasks and functions. This study uses a qualitative approach, by describing and outlining the functions and duties of the principal as a leader and manager in the school. Data collection techniques using library research (Library Research) by collecting materials that have to do with research originating from books, scientific journals, literature, and other publications that are worthy of being used as research sources that the author will examine. The results of this study provide comprehensive information and understanding of the principal as a school leader and manager, both in terms of his function and his duties in managing the education unit.

Abstract

The skill of writing scientific papers has become a requirement for students as undergraduate graduates. The aim of this community service is to improve students' skills in writing articles as scientific papers. This research is classified as a case study in the form of training in writing popular scientific articles as a reference for students of the Educational Administration study program in semesters I (one), III (three) and V (five). Held on October 18, 2024, 40 (Forty) students registered as participants in the Popular Article Writing Training to Improve Scientific Writing Skills using lecture, discussion, example and practice methods. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in students' writing skills, as seen from their ability to compose more structured and logical articles with a score of 87%. The support and guidance from lecturers and facilitators during the training greatly helped students in completing their writing so that they were more confident with a score of 85%. It is recommended that training be held periodically, guidance from lecturers be strengthened, and collaboration with scientific journals be expanded. Continuous evaluation is also necessary to ensure program effectiveness and necessary improvements. It is hoped that this activity can continue to be developed to provide greater benefits for students in improving the quality of their scientific work.

Abstract

Scientific writing has become a requirement for a professional teacher, the aim of this community service is to increase teacher competence in preparing scientific written articles. The survey method uses a constructivist approach. The implementation of the activity is divided into two, first, the implementation of the activity is carried out by providing material in class using lecture, discussion, example and exercise methods, secondly, participants are provided with guidance services. The subjects of this service are teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang Vocational High School. The instrument used was a teacher understanding questionnaire about writing scientific papers. The results obtained in this activity were 86.50% of participants interested in the training carried out because they gained understanding and insight into article writing. Then, as many as 92.54% of participants stated that the material presented was understandable/clear. and 91.51% of participants stated that they were satisfied with the writing training which was carried out based on systematics and good language. So, it can be concluded that service activities with the theme of scientific writing training to improve the professionalism of teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang Vocational School provide new knowledge for teachers at the school related to publishing scientific papers in the form of scientific articles.

Abstract

The overall objective of this community service activity is to empower the community through the use of medicinal plant gardens as one of the efforts to address stunting in Tanjung Batu Seberang Village, Tanjung Batu Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. Specifically, this activity aims to: (1) provide a deeper understanding of the importance of health, (2) explain the various types of medicinal plants that can be used to improve health, particularly in combating stunting, and (3) change the community's mindset regarding the importance of health quality. The approach used in this activity is a descriptive qualitative method. The implementation of the activity is divided into three phases: first, administering pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess participants' initial and final understanding; second, delivering materials on the use of medicinal plant gardens to address stunting; and third, providing training on planting medicinal plants. The subjects of this activity are 50 residents of Tanjung Batu Seberang Village. The instruments used are pre-test and post-test questionnaires, with the activity conducted in one day. The results show that 86.50% of participants understand basic health concepts, 92.54% can explain the types of medicinal plants that could potentially combat stunting, and 91.51% experienced a shift in mindset regarding health quality. In conclusion, this training provides practical solutions and motivation for the community to adopt healthier lifestyles, particularly in maintaining children's nutrition by utilizing processed plants as a source of nutritious food, thus improving nutritional status and the overall quality of life in Tanjung Batu Seberang Village.
