Abstract

AbstractThis research is to improve students' speaking ability by using class V demonstration method of State Elementary School 02 Betung River, Bengkayang Regency. The method used is descriptive method with class action research form. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of one meeting with a time allocation of 3 x 35 minutes. The results of the teacher's ability to plan lessons from cycle I with an average score of 3.48 to 3.70 in cycle II to 3.81 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. The result of teacher ability in conducting learning from the average value of cycle I 3.41 to 3.66 in cycle II, to 3.87 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. Improving students' speaking ability by using class V demonstration method is evidenced by the average achievement of students in the first cycle of 77.77, in the second cycle of 82.14 and in the third cycle of 84.52. Based on this data analysis, it can be concluded that the demonstration method can be used to improve the speaking ability of grade V students of Secondary School 02 Sungai Betung, Bengkayang Regency. Keywords: Speaking skills, Demonstration methods

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to analyze whether there is a correlation between reading interest with essay writing narrative skills Indonesian of fifth grade students Elementary School 08 Sungai Kakap.This research uses descriptive method with research form correlation study. The population in this study were all students of class V Elementary School School 08 Sungai Kakap consisting of two classes, is V A and V B amounted to 67 students.Based on the analysis of students' reading interest overall 6871 or with the percentage of 85.56% and the results of analysis of essay writing narrative skills overall for 4775 with an average of 71.26. The result of calculation of correlation coefficient is known that r_(xy) is 0,380 while r _tabel with significant level 5% for N = 67 and db (degrees of freedom) = N-2 = 67-2 = 65 is 0,244. Thus r_(xy)> r_(table) or 0.380> 0.244. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between reading interest with essay writing narrative skill.Keywords :Riding interest and composition, Essay writing narrative skill

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the application of contextual learning in improving the ability to write letters for peers in primary school 04 Half Bengkayang. Research method used is descriptive, research form is class action research, research nature is collaborative. Subjects in this study were teachers and grade four students who numbered 17 students. Technique of collecting data in this research is direct observation and document observation. This study was conducted in three cycles. The results of the research are (1) The ability of the teacher in designing cycle I learning is 3.31 (good), cycle II is 3.39 (good) and cycle III is 3.59 (excellent). (2) The ability of the teacher to carry out the learning in cycle I is 3.19 (good), cycle II is 3.34 (good), and cycle III is 3.59. (3) Learning outcomes Writing Comprehension For Peer Friends by using contextual learning in Primary School 04 HalfBengkayang at cycle I is 71.87, cycle to II is 74.55 and cycle III is 80.53. Conclusion in this research is by using contextual learning can increase the ability to write letter for peer at SD 04, Bengkayang. Keywords: Ability to Write, Letters, and Contextual Learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research was the students’ participation in Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) subject at class VC SD Negeri 34 Pontianak Kota The purpose of this research was to find out the improvement of students’ participation in Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) subject by using pictures as media of teaching at class VC SD Negeri 34 Pontianak Kota The method of this research was descrptive method inform of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was done at SD Negeri 34 Pontianak kota which are consists of 35 students. Technique of collecting data in this research was observation technique with observation sheets as the tool. Technique of data analysis used in this research was average score and percentage. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the research were divided into three aspects. 1) Teacher’s ability to plan teaching learning process by using pictures as media of teaching on the first cycle was 3,18 at good category, improved 0,59 to 3,71 at excellent category on second cycle. 2) Teacher’s ability during teaching learning process by using pictures as media of teaching on the first cycle was 3,16 at good category , improved 0,810 3,67 which included into excellent category. 3) Students’ participation in teaching learning activity by using pictures as media of teaching on the first cycle was 71,42% with high category, improved 22,51% to 86,98% with very high category on second cycle. The data above shows that using pictures as media teaching was able to improved students’ participation in teaching learning activity at class VC SD Negeri 34 Pontianak KotaKeywords : Improvement, Activity, Pictures

Abstract

AbstrackThe title of this research is the use of scramble model to improve student learning activity. The method used in this research is descriptive method, the type of research is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) and the nature of research that is collaborative. Data collecting technique used is direct observation technique. This research was conducted for three cycles with the results obtained that is 1) the ability of teachers in planning learning by using a model of scramble from cycle I ie 3.62, cycle II 3.74, cycle III 3.92. 2) the ability of teachers in the implementation of learning using scramble model from cycle I is 3.26, cycle II 3.55, cycle III 3.83. 3) student learning activity using scramble model starting from cycle I that is 49,52%, cycle II 69,52% and cycle III 87,61%. With the results obtained show that using the model scramble in learning Citizenship Education can improve the learning activities of fourth graders Elementary School 11 Pontianak City Keywords : Learning activities, Scramble

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the impact of Talking Stick  Model to the social learning outcomes in Elementary School Number twentysix,  Pontianak . The experimental reseach method was used in this research. The form of the experimental reseach used was quasi exsperimental design.population in this reseach is all student fourth which consisted of  41. Sampel in this reseach were student fourth grade which consisted of 20. Instrumen gatherer data of student learning the test result obtained from pre-test and post-test. The result of data analysis showed that mean score of student post-test was 74,30. Base on t-twst analysis thitung of  (11,04) and ttabel  (1,6704). Which mean, thitung  (11,04) > ttabel  (1,6704), thus then Ha accepted. Then result of effect size was 0,77 which mean medium criteria. So, it can be concluded there was a significant effect of using Talking Stick model to the student learning outcomes on fouth grade Elementary School. Keywords: Study Result, effect, Talking Stick and Social Science

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to analyze the influence of cooperative learning model of  group investigation on the learning outcomes of natural science students of class V State Elementary School I Gugus I Pontianak Selatan. The method used is experimental method, in the form of quasi experimental and type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population is all the students of grade V of State Elementary School of Gugus I Pontianak Selatan is accreditation B which amounts to 142 students. The sample of this research is all students of class V State Elementary School 12 Pontianak Selatan which amounts to 48 students. The result of this research shows that there is influence of cooperative learning model of group investigation toward the learning result of natural science student of class V of State Elementary School of Gugus I Pontianak Selatan as evidenced by the result of t-test of student post-test data that is tcount ≥ ttable or 2,307 ≥ 1,714 means there are significant differences. The effect of the influence of cooperative learning model of group investigation on the results of natural science learning using the effect size and produce 0,58 are classified as being. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Group Investigation,Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract:This research intended for describe the effect of the communicative approach through video on the 5th grade student skills in writing poetry at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Kota. The method used in this research is the Non Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttes Design experiment. The tools used to collect data in this study were observation sheets and tests. The technique used is direct observation and measurement. The sample of this research is 5th grade students, totaled 55 students. The results of data processing using the Mann Whitney U-Test with the normal curve approach obtained zcount = 2.59 for the 0.025 error level obtained ztable of 1.96 thus zcount> ztable or 2.59> 1.96, it can be concluded that there are differences in results write poetry on the 5th grade student at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Kota. Based on the analysis of the effectiveness of the application of communicative approach through video on this research, obtained ES = 0.91 with a high category. Keywords: Communicative Approach, Writing Children's Poetry

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah  penggunaan metode outdoor learning  dapat meningkatkan  keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 09 Pontianak Tenggara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi exsperimental design dengan jenis time-series design. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik pengukuran. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah unjuk kerja. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh dari hasil pretest diperoleh rata- rata nilai 63,7. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil post test adalah 73,17. Hal ini menunjukan terdapat perbedaan hasil keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi menggunakan metode outdoor learning dengan hasil keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi setelah menggunakan metode outdoor learning. Dari hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh t hitung sebesar 6,358 dan ttabel = 2,756. Ini berarti 6,358>2,756, maka thitung > ttabel, dapat dikatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode outdoor learning terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi pada Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 09 Pontianak Tenggara. Kata Kunci: Metode Outdoor Learning, Keterampilan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi Abstract: This study aimed to analyze whether the use of outdoor learning method can improve writing skills essay description fifth grade students of SDN 09 Pontianak Tenggara. The method used in this research is the experimental method. Form of experimental research design used was quasi exsperimental with the type of time-series design. Data collection technique used is the technique of measurement. Data collection tool used is performance. Based on the analysis of data obtained from the pretest results obtained by the average value of 63.7. While the average value of the results of post test is 73.17. This shows there are differences in the description of the results of essay writing skills using the outdoor learning method with the results of essay writing skills after using the description of methods of outdoor learning. From the analysis of the t-test obtained t calculate equal to 6.358 and ttable = 2.756. This means that 6.358 > 2.756, thitung > ttable, it can be said Ho rejected and Ha accepted. So it is concluded that there are significant use of outdoor learning methods to the description on the Essay Writing Skills Learning Indonesian Student Class V SDN 09 Pontianak Tenggara. Keywords: Outdoor Learning Methods , Essay Writing Skills Description
