Abstract

 AbstractThis research is development of cooperative model of jigsaw type based on media card sort with stages (1) data collection, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) validation and product trial. The purpose of this research is to develop cooperative learning model of jigsaw type based on card sorting media for learning acquisition on Civic Education. The subjects of the study were students of grade XA SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak amounting to 36 people as a sample. Procedure development using Borg & Gall, with experimental methods. Data collection using instrument (1) expert validation questionnaire, (2) observation, and (3) test result learning. Data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result of data analysis to learning result before action is known 27.77% result of student learning complete, and 72.21% result of student learning unfinished and after action, known 86.11% result of student learning complete, and 13.88% not complete. This means that an increase in student learning outcomes after the action of cooperative learning type of jigsaw based media card sort on the material Wawasan Nusantara. Keywords: Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw, Media Card Sort.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor dan kondisi yang mempengaruhi revitalisasi nasionalisme anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia di Community Learning Center (CLC) Sarawak, Malaysia. Dalam konteks anak-anak Pekerja Migran, mempertahankan nasionalisme dan identitas budaya mereka di lingkungan yang berbeda menjadi tantangan yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memfokuskan pada faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi proses revitalisasi nasionalisme mereka di CLC. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengungkap revitalisasi nasionalisme di CLC Sarawak. Penelitian dilakukan di CLC Ladang Ladong dengan jumlah 8 subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari guru, siswa, orang tua siswa dan manager Perusahaan tempat CLC berada. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dipaparkan, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa faktor-faktor dan kondisi yang mempengaruhi revitalisasi nasionalisme anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia di CLC Sarawak adalah sebagai berikut: (1) lingkungan pendidikan di CLC, (2) partisipasi orang tua, (3) identitas budaya, (4) dukungan komunitas, dan (5) lingkungan sosial kultural. Factors and Conditions Influencing the Revitalization of Nationalism of Children of Indonesian Migrant Workers in CLC Sarawak Abstract This study aims to analyze the factors and conditions that influence the revitalization of the nationalism of the children of Indonesian migrant workers at the Community Learning Center (CLC) Sarawak, Malaysia. In the context of children of migrant workers, maintaining their nationalism and cultural identity in a different environment is a significant challenge. Therefore, this study focuses on factors that can influence the process of revitalizing their nationalism in CLC. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach to reveal the revitalization of nationalism in CLC Sarawak. The research was conducted at CLC Ladang Ladong with a total of 8 research subjects consisting of teachers, students, parents and managers of the company where CLC is located. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been presented, it can be concluded that the factors and conditions that influence the revitalization of nationalism of children of Indonesian migrant workers in CLC Sarawak are as follows: (1) educational environment in CLC, (2) parental participation, (3) cultural identity, (4) community support, and (5) socio-cultural environment.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the research objective to improve student learning outcomes on the material of the relationship between images on the state symbol and the Pancasila precepts with the CTL learning approach. The method of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects of class III students totalling 10 people consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques and instruments are test techniques carried out at the end of each cycle. Data collection instruments in the form of essay questions as many as 5 items. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study in cycle I the average value of 10 students was 57.7 cycle II student learning outcomes increased by 14.5 from cycle I to 72.5. thus the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method in Civics Education lessons is effective in improving the learning outcomes of third grade students of SDN 16 Mundun Pejugan. The conclusion that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method can significantly improve student learning outcomes in civic education lessons. Suggestions for teachers and schools can continuously innovate in creating innovative learning so that students can develop their abilities optimally.Keywords: Civics Learning Outcomes, Contextual Teaching and Learning Method

Abstract

Students' ability to understand math is still very low, especially the basic ability of multiplication, the students cannot solve math problems well so that it affects their learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using abacus media on basic multiplication skills with repeated addition techniques in grade II students of SDN 1 Noyan. The research method is experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used were tests and observation sheets. The statistical test results showed there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores Thitung = 3.50 > Ttabel = 1.729, which means the use of abacus media has a positive effect on student learning outcomes in basic multiplication material. The results of this study indicate that concrete media such as an abacus can improve students' understanding of basic math concepts.
