Abstract

 AbstractThis research aimed to know the response of students to comic learning media on ecology material in class X SMA. The research method apply in this research is descriptive research. The descriptive research used in this research is the survey. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The subject of this study is 130 students of grade X SMA from four senior high schools in Pontianak. The research instrument used is a closed questionnaire. The student response questionnaire consists of 2 aspects, namely the response and reaction aspects. The criteria of response consists of five indicators are format, relevance, interest, satisfaction, and confident. This research is done by giving comic learning media  followed by giving response questionnaire to the students. The analysis of the questionnaire shows that the average value of student response on the response aspect is 73.4% while the reaction aspect is 74.4%. %. It can be concluded that the average percentage of student response is 73,9% and categorized strong. Keywords: Ecological material, comic learning media, student response.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the feasibility of comics as media of learning on ecology materials in class X SMA. The research method was descriptive research and the descriptive research which used was survey method, while the research instrument was validation sheet. Assessment of validity was done by 5 validators. The media validation sheet consists of seven aspects: physical, design and color, drawing and writing, material content, conformity with learning objectives, simplicity, also messaging design elements. The results showed that the average validation of each aspect was 0.99 and CVI value (content validity index) also 0.99. It can be concluded that the comics is valid to use as a media in learning on ecology materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the combination of Spawnprime and Ovaspec hormones on the gonad maturity process and the broodstock of Peres fish (Osteochilus kappeni). The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatment levels and 3 replications. The results showed that the combination of Spawnpriment Hormones and Ovaspec in Peres broodfish had a significant effect on IKG, Fecundity, Degree of Fertilization, and Degree of Hatching. However, the increase in absolute weight and egg diameter of Peres fish had no significant effect. The results showed that the combination of Spawnprime and Ovaspec hormones in Peres broodfish had a significant effect on IKG P4 9.16%, P3 8.41%, P2 7.36%, P1 0%. Fecundity P3 11057.54 items, P4 9351.43 items, P2 9210.0 items, P1 0 items. The degree of conception P4 96.00%, P3 95.33, P2 80.33, P1 0%. And the degree of hatching P4 97.93%, P3 92.74, P2 91.70, P1 0%. However, it did not significantly affect the increase in absolute weight P1 4.00 g, P4 3.50 g, P3 and P2 have the same value, namely 3.33 m. Egg diameter P1 0.36 mm, P2 0.33 mm, P2 0.32 mm and 0.29 mm.
