Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas XI IPA MA Ushuluddin Singkawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes dan angket. Dari hasil uji hipotesis (uji-t) diperoleh thitung sebesar 15,02 dengan taraf signifikan ( = 5% diperoleh ttabel sebesar 1,703. Karena thitung 15,02 > ttabel 1,703, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model discovery learning. Berdasarkan penentuan effect size, model discovery learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 49,74%. Model discovery learning juga memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan motivasi sangat kuat dan motivasi kuat berturut-turut adalah 7% dan 93%. Kata kunci: discovery learning, keterampilan proses sains, motivasi belajar Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the effect of discovery learning model in influencing science process skills and learning motivation of class XI IPA MA Ushuluddin Singkawang. Pre-Experimental Design through One-Group Pretest Posttest Design was used as research method. The data were collected using test and questionnaire. From the results of hypothesis test (t-test) obtained tamounted to 15.02 with significance level (?) = 5% was obtained ttabel 1.703. Since tamounted 15.02 > ttabel 1.703, then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there was a difference science process skills before and after using of discovery learning model. Based on the determination of effect size, discovery learning model influenced on students? science process skills of 49.74%. Discovery learning model was giving influence about students? learning motivation by stronger motivation and strong motivation robust respectively 7% and 93%.
