Abstract

Organic waste at the traditional market of Melati Puring Parit Baru, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency, located on Jalan Adisucipto. namely cow dung and organic waste can pollute the surrounding environment. A pungent smell wafted from the cattle dung. Organic waste can be vector breeding. The litter that is scattered around the TPS is not aesthetically pleasing. The type of research carried out is experimental research with pre-experimental design research in the kind of Comparison of Four samples on a laboratory scale. The sample in this study was organic waste from the Melati Puring market, with 4 treatments. Which uses EM4, as an activator, cow dung as an activator, does not use an activator, and a combination of cow dung and EM4 as an activator. This research on a laboratory scale aims to obtain an overview of the use of organic waste to be used as compost by using Effective Microorganisms 4 (EM4) as an activator and not using an activator to see the maturity of the resulting compost in terms of physical characteristics. The results showed that the maturity of the compost was not the same, the difference was in the smell and color. There was a slight smell of livestock manure in the group that did not use the activator. The color in the group that did not use the activator was brown, but it was not as significant as in the group that used it. The maturity time of compost in the group that used the activator was 15 days, while in the group that did not use the activator it was 40 days. The community is advised to use organic waste to make compost by using a combination of cow dung and EM4 as an activator. keywords: Monitoring, composting, physical characteristics

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to arrange the stages of implementation of the ABILA precast concrete construction method to be applied to housing construction so that it can be used as a reference for future development. While the purpose of this research is to arrange the stages of housing construction with ABILA precast panels starting from the precast concrete production stage, transportation or mobilization of materials to the installation process and final completion. Precast concrete can speed up processing time, save costs, and minimize waste for formwork and scaffolding. In the world of construction, any waste of construction material must be reduced or even eliminated. The application of Precast Concrete is very easy, considering its plug and play nature. Besides being easy, precast concrete has quite a lot of applications, especially the Abila Panel which has a function as a building structure, it can also be used as fences, floors and drainage channels. The level of the implementation method for the development of precast concrete technology is divided into several levels between prefabrication, preassembly, and module. The implementation method of building a house with ABILA precast concrete takes 14 days in the field, starting from panel installation to finishing. The construction method includes prefabrication in the workshop, mobilization of panels to the job site, assembly of structural elements, installation of brick walls, installation of roof structures and roof coverings, electrical and mechanical floor work, installation of ventilation doors and windows and paint finishing.

Abstract

Munculnya kantong-kantong permukiman kumuh di kawasan perkotaan merupakan tugas berat yang harus diselesaikan oleh pemerintah. Di Kota Pontianak kawasan deliniasi kawasan kumuh diatur dalam SK Walikota yang khusus mengatur untuk menyelesaikan kawasan kumuh tersebut. Sebagian besar kawasan kumuh di Kota Pontianak berada pada kawasan bantaran sungai dengan segala macam permasalahannya. Posisi bangunan rumah membelakangi sungai yang berarti berada di atas air serta jamban-jamban yang ada mengakibatkan tercemarnya sungai di daerah permukiman tersebut. Penelitian ini diawali dengan identifikasi kawasan kumuh di daerah bantaran Parit Nanas dan membentuk sebuah konsep dan strategi penataan bangunan di bantaran bantaran Parit Nanas agar dapat mengembalikan fungsi sungai yang bebas dari pencemaran. Identifikasi kawasan kumuh dilakukan berdasarkan data sekunder dan kondisi langsung yang dilihat di lapangan kemudian dasar-dasar konsep penataan mengacu kepada konsep penanganan kawasan kumuh berupa strategi pencegahan dan penanganan kondisi infrastruktur yang ada pada kawasan tersebut. Dari metode tersebut akan dihasilkan pola penataan bangunan yang berada di atas air dan membelakangi sungai serta ketersediaan utilitas kawasan yang mendukung untuk mengatasi kekumuhan kawasan seperti keadaan jaringan jalan, drainase, sanitasi dan limbah, ketersediaan air bersih, persampahan, ruang terbuka pubik dan penanganan kebakaran. Konsep kawasan Terpana (Teras Parit Nanas) merupakan suatu hasil yang dibentuk dari analisis penelitian ini dimana kawasan tersebut ditata menjadi sebuah kawasan dengan orientasi baru berbentuk waterfront, wisata air serta area yang aman untuk bermain anak-anak. Dengan perubahan berdasarkan konsep yang digagaskan diharapkan akan mengubah pola hidup masyarakat sekitar bantaran sungai untuk lebih memperhatikan kebersihan lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggal mereka dan perubahan perilaku-perilaku menjadi hidup bersih dan sehat. Akibat perubahan perilaku masyarakat yang lebih baik terhadap sungai, maka kondisi sungai perlahan-lahan akan semakin baik dan mengurangi pencemaran pada sungai tersebut.  Kata kunci : kumuh, penataan bangunan, sungai, perubahan perilaku
