Abstract

The aim of the research was to increase the students’ creativity in learning SBDP subject. In this case, the students had low creativity and difficulties in making the artworks when they learn SBDP. So, here the researcher chose the mosaic activity by using plastic bag waste as media in order to help the students in increasing their creativity. As the research methodology, the researcher classroom action research and used qualitative descriptive approach in this research and the subject of the research was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Muara Batu Kabupaten Aceh Utara. The sum of the research subjects were 20 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used some research instruments such as observation sheets, test and questionnaire. Based on the data analysis, it was found the result 1). The students’ activity in leaning process was increased from the cycle 1 (60%) to be 80% in cycle 2. 2). The teacher’s performance during the teaching process in cycle 1 was 75% increased to 85% in cycle 2. 3). the students’ creativity in making artworks had increased from 60 in cycle 1 to be 85 in cycle 2. 4). The students gave positive responses toward the use of plastic bag waste as media in making artworks through mosaic activity . The students also were be more active during the teaching learning process. It could be concluded that the use of plastic bag waste as media through mosaic activity could increase the students’ creativity in in learning SBDP subject.

Abstract

Along with many plagiarism issues in the academic world, types of Plagiarism and its linguistic patterns are still under investigation. This study focuses on how Almuslim University EFL graduates perceive Plagiarism. The data for this study were gathered through documents and interviews using a descriptive qualitative design. Fifteen theses were used as samples to determine Plagiarism types and linguistic patterns, and 15 respondents were interviewed to determine the factors that influence Plagiarism. The documents were coded based on the types of Plagiarism, and the respondents were asked five questions during the interview. The findings revealed that 12 of the 15 theses samples had plagiarism rates greater than 25%, and three were found to have a small percentage of Plagiarism. According to the samples, most EFL graduates completed their theses using patchwriting instead of verbatim Plagiarism. In both types of Plagiarism (literal Plagiarism and intelligence).Furthermore, the interview results revealed that Plagiarism could occur due to various factors, including a lack of information, a desire to finish it quickly, an adverse environmental influence, and viewing the thesis as a graduate formality. Furthermore, the findings of this study can be used to educate others about the various types, causes, and contributing factors to Plagiarism. As a result, lecturers and universities can take precautionary measures to avoid Plagiarism in the future.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of TikTok video blogging in enhancing students' speaking skills. The research was conducted using Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CCAR), which allows researchers and teachers to work together to improve learning practices. The data sources for this study were 16 students from class 2 IPA 2 at MAN 4 Aceh Utara. Data collection techniques included speaking skills tests, observation sheets to assess teacher and student performance, and questionnaires to measure student responses. The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed significant improvements in several aspects. Based on the observation checklist results, the teacher's performance in the speaking learning process using TikTok video blogging increased from 80.00% in Cycle I to 99.00% in Cycle II, indicating improved teaching effectiveness. Moreover, students' performance also improved, from 81.21% in Cycle I to 99.39% in Cycle II, suggesting higher student participation and engagement. In terms of students' speaking skills, there was a significant improvement through the use of TikTok video blogging. This can be seen from the mean score of Cycle I, which was 72.18, increasing to 81.87 in Cycle II. This improvement demonstrates that using TikTok as a learning tool can effectively help students develop their speaking skills. Finally, the questionnaire results revealed that students responded positively to the speaking learning process using TikTok video blogging, with a mean score of 2.96, placing it in the “Agree” category. These findings indicate that using popular social media platforms like TikTok can enhance student motivation and engagement in language learning. In conclusion, this research demonstrates the potential of TikTok video blogging as an effective pedagogical tool for improving students' speaking skills in the context of language learning.

Abstract

The aimed of this research is to find out does the use of MOZAIC Activity to improve students’writing skill or not. The research conducted at MTsS Peulimbang with classroom action research design which conducted in two cycle by following the procedure of the action research consisting of foursteps; planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each cycle was carry out in three meeting. The subject of the research was the second year students class 2/I of MTsS Peulimbang. The research instruments used in this research were test, observation checklist and questionnaire. The obtained data were presented and analyzed in qualitative and quantitative data. The result of this research showed that Mozaik Activity could improve the students’ skill in learning writing. It could be proved by some research finding found by the researcher. The first result found from the test given to the students. The students’ average score of the test in cycle 1 was 65.25 and it increased to 78.6 in cycle 2. The second result was obtained from the observation of the researcher’s performance and students’ activities. The percentage of the researcher’s performance in the first cycle was 68.75% or in level good. While, in the second cycle it increased to 87.5% or in level very good criterion. Next, the percentages of the students’ activities was 66.23% or in level enough in the first cycle and it increased to be 85% or in very good criterion in the second cycle. The other finding got from the result of questionnaire. It showed that the students gave positive responses toward the implementing Mozaik Activity in learning writing. It could be seen by the result of the questionnaire was 3.62 or in category strongly agree. It means that the students’ response was very good.

Abstract

The research was conducted in Collaborative Classroom Action at SMA Negeri 3 Bireuen. The aims of the research are: 1). To know Whispering Game Technique can improve the students’ listening skill to the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Bireuen. 2). To investigate the students’ response toward the implementation of Whispering Game Technique in learning listening skill. The subject of the research was the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Bireuen. The research data was collected from observation checklist, listening test, questionnaire and field note. The data was analyzed in qualitative and qualitative research.  The researcher found some research results. The first, the result findings from the students’ listening test in cycle one was 48.81 and became to 77.72 in cycle 2. The second result finding was found from the observation of the teacher’s performance was 60% in cycle I and increase to 80%. Meanwhile, the percentage of students’ activities in the first cycle was found 53% and increase to 75%. The third result finding found that the result of students’ response toward the implementation of Whispering Game Technique. Based on the result, the students gave good (positive response) about the technique. It could be seen from the category of questionnaire result showed that in “strongly agree” category or in level 3.78. From the results findings above, it could be concluded that Whispering Game Technique improves the students’ listening skill.

Abstract

Literasi digital mencakup berbagai keterampilan seperti memahami dan menggunakan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak komputer, mengelola data dan informasi digital, berkomunikasi melalui platform digital, serta menerapkan prinsip-prinsip keamanan dan privasi dalam dunia digital. Tujuan pelatihan Ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru di MTsS Nurul Qur’an dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta membangun kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan pelatihan Ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru di MTsS Nurul Qur’an dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta membangun kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran. Solusi yang akan dilaksanakan adalah dengan mengadakan pelatihan literasi digital serta sosialisasi aplikasi atau platform yang sering digunakan dalam meningkatkan kreatifitas pembelajaraan saat ini. Metode peneltian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif adalah studi kasus di MTsS Nurul Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru MTsS Nurul Qur’an sangat termotivasi dan antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini serta dapat mengimplementasikan dengan  kreatifitas pembelajaran dengan baik melalui Literasi Digital.
