Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of effectiveness in the learning process in receiving and processing information to acquire reasoning abilities as students still had cognitive load. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning for two stay two stray on Spermatophyta material to decrease the intrinsic cognitive load corresponding student's learning style. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with posttest only. The subjects were high school students of class X IPA at SMAN 7 Bandung. Control class (34 students) using conventional pembalajaran strategies and experimental classes (33 students) teaching methods two stay two stray. The research instrument used in the form of essay that describes the students' reasoning ability and task complexity are arranged in the form of questions in worksheet students to determine the ability to receive and process information. Data were analyzed by using a different test average and correlation test. The results of the calculation of average ability to receive and process information on the audio learning styles experimental class is higher than the control class. In the experiment class decline intrinsic cognitive load correlated with increased learning outcomes for students with learning style audio. These results illustrate that the use of learning strategies two stay two stray has lowered the intrinsic cognitive load of students who have learning style audio.Keywords: cognitive load, learning styles and learning methods two stay two stray

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis konten terkait keanekaragaman makhluk hidup yang disajikan dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi dan sekolah menengah atas. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Mengkaji capaian pembelajaran pada mata kuliah keanekaragaman dan klasifikasi vertebrata disalah satu Perguruan Tinggi swasta di Bogor pada Tahun Ajaran Semester Genap 2022/2023 dikaitkan kurikulum merdeka dan kurikulum 2013 serta standar isi Permendikbudristek No 7 Tahun 2022. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber dokumen dalam bentuk Rencana Pembelajaran semester (RPS), peraturan pemerintah tentang penetapan Kurikulum Merdeka dan Kurikulum 2013 serta Standar Isi menurut Permendikbud No 7 tahun 2022. Sumber data sekunder diambil dari jurnal yang berkaitan dengan riset. Analisis data pada penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan informasi, penyederhanaan, penyajian, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penjabaran CP menjadi CPMK pada mata kuliah tersebut belum direpresentasikan secara utuh berdasarkan kebutuhan Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka terutama menganai penyajian permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan isu lokal, regional ataupun global. Sehingga harus menyusun CPMK yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan saat ini. Selain itu, tergambarkan terdapat keselarasan antara Capaian Pembelajaran, Kurikulum 2013, kurikulum merdeka dan standar isi Permendikbudristek No 7 Tahun 2022 tentang kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami prinsip-prinsip klasifikasi makhluk hidup, karakteristik, anatomi dan morfologi, fisiologi, usulan upaya pelestarian dan varibilitas berdasarkan hasil observasi.

Abstract

The addition of asynchronous learning hours in e-learning can cause students to have to understand large amounts of material. So that it can be a cognitive burden for students. The purpose of this study was to describe the cognitive load of students during online learning in the subject of vertebrate diversity and classification, especially on the structure of Pisces and amphibians. The research method used in this study was quantitative descriptive by examining the ability to receive and process information, mental effort and the learning outcomes of 46 students of the Biology Education Study Program at Pakuan University. The instrument used in the study was to measure the ability to receive and process information through a test in the form of a task complexity worsheet. Mental effort was measured through a questionnaire (Likert scale) with a range of 1-5. Learning outcomes were measured in the form of an essay test. The results obtained that the learning activities carried out have the characteristics of a high cognitive load component. The high cognitive load obtained by students is seen from the high mental effort and the high intrinsic load possessed by students, so that it has an impact on the learning outcomes obtained.

Abstract

This study is based on students’ inability to solve problems in psychotropic material, which is caused by students' low reasoning power and tendency to memorize the material. To address these issues, consider using PBL-based e-pocket book media used for this study. The purpose of this study is to develop e-pocket book media based on PBL that are feasible, practical, and effective in improving students' problem-solving skills and motivating them to learn. The research was conducted in November 2022 - May 2023. The RnD research method was used in conjunction with the ADDIE development design. Interview guidelines, learning observations, expert assessment sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and student motivation questionnaires in learning were used to assess learning. The qualitative data analysis was obtained from media and material expert advice, teacher and student response questionnaires, student motivation questionnaires, learning observations, and interviews. The validation result of media experts yielded a quantitative 96% very feasible category while material expert validation yielded a 92% very feasible category. The results of the teacher's response questionnaire were 91%, while the student response was 89% in the very practical category. A questionnaire on student motivation in learning after using e-pocket book media was also obtained by 86%. Furthermore, the results of the independent sample t-test, show the result where Tcount>Ttable. It can be concluded that PBL-based e-pocket book media is very feasible and practical to use in learning and can improve students' problem-solving abilities on psychotropic material and motivate students in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji efektivitas, mengidentifikasi respon siswa, serta mengidentifikasi keunggulan dan keterbatasan penggunaan E-Modul biologi terintegrasi nilai keislaman pada materi sistem reproduksi dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu RnD dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Swasta Keislaman di Kota Bogor yang ditujukan untuk kelas XI MIPA yang mempelajari materi sistem reproduksi. Sebelum dilakukan ujicoba, produk divalidasi oleh tiga validator ahli yaitu ahli media, materi, dan agama. Penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media memiliki nilai persentase 93% dengan kriteria sangat layak, penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi memiliki nilai persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan kelayakan oleh ahli Agama memiliki nilai persentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Setelah diujicobakan, dilakukan uji kepraktisan menggunakan angket respon siswa memiliki nilai persentase 90% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Pengujian efektivitas menggunakan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa memiliki nilai N-gain 0.6 dengan kriteria sedang, artinya penggunaan e-modul sistem reproduksi terintegrasi nilai keislaman cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan e-modul sistem reproduksi terintegrasi nilai keislaman layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi masyarakat Indonesia khususnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi masih tergolong rendah. Pemicu rendahnya literasi numerasi di Indonesia masih rendah dikarenakan kurang menariknya guru dalam menerapkan model dan media pembelajaran yang dipakai. Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi bekerjasama dengan Program Studi PPG dan MGMP Biologi SMA Kabupaten Bogor mengadakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dalam bentuk Bimtek Literasi dan Numerasi dalam Pembelajaran Biologi bagi Guru-guru Biologi SMA. Tujuan dari kegitan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensi Guru-Guru Biologi SMA Se-Kabupaten Bogor khususnya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada peningkatan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini yaitu Guruguru Biologi Tingkat SMA Se-Kabupaten Bogor. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara blended sebanyak dua pertemuan, pertemuan pertama dilaksanakan secara luring dan pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan secara daring. Materi kegiatan meliputi : Konsep Literasi dan Numerasi, Implementasi Literasi dan Numerasi dalam Pembelajaran Biologi, Pengembangan Modul Ajar Biologi berbasis literasi dan numerasi, Presentasi Produk dan penguatan. Total kegiatan dilaksanakan sebanyak 32 JP.

Abstract

Identification skills are essential for students to increase awareness of will importance of diversity and active protection. Grouping species based on information genome is well considered in effort conservation. Research objectives to describe courses diversity and classification vertebrates (KKV) in identifying fish morphology, genome, and perception student about identification diversity through genome data in one LPTK in Bogor. This research uses qualitative with 27 students in The Biology Education Study Program in one LPTK in Bogor in the odd semester 2022/2023. Data collection about results interviews, documentation, and responses implementation of the pre-college program. Analysis of research data done qualitatively. Research results describe that ongoing study. This does not yet give optimal knowledge in fish diversity in a manner morphology until genome. Findings this give description will need students to identify species in a manner morphology until genome and needed databases that can identify diversity in detail and available essential internal identification feature application.

Abstract

This study analyzes how biodiversity is represented in secondary school biology textbooks from both government and private publishers. The focus of the research is on evaluating their alignment with the national curriculum, the scientific accuracy of biodiversity concepts, and their ability to foster critical thinking. The research employs a descriptive content analysis approach using the Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4S TMD) method, limited to the selection stage. The sample consists of one government-published and one private-published biology textbook commonly used in Grade X of Secondary School, selected from a survey of 45 schools in Bogor Regency. The results show key differences: government textbooks provide a more accurate, comprehensive view of biodiversity and are better aligned with the curriculum, offering real-world ecological examples. They also promote inquiry-based learning and critical thinking. On the other hand, private textbooks offer more superficial coverage with conceptual errors, focusing on rote memorization and theoretical knowledge. These findings suggest that government textbooks are better suited for fostering a deep understanding of biodiversity, while private textbooks may limit students' ability to engage with the topic. The study calls for improved quality of textbook biodiversity content better to support students' learning and awareness of ecological issues. Future research could explore the impact of these textbook differences on student outcomes.Abstrak. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana keanekaragaman hayati diwakili dalam buku teks biologi sekolah menengah atas yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit pemerintah dan swasta. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kesesuaiannya dengan kurikulum nasional, akurasi ilmiah konsep keanekaragaman hayati, dan kemampuannya dalam mengembangkan pemikiran kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis konten deskriptif dengan metode Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4S TMD), yang dibatasi pada tahap seleksi. Sampel terdiri dari satu buku teks biologi yang diterbitkan oleh pemerintah dan satu buku teks yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit swasta, yang umum digunakan di Kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas, dipilih dari survei 45 sekolah di Kabupaten Bogor. Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan: buku teks pemerintah memberikan gambaran yang lebih akurat dan komprehensif tentang keanekaragaman hayati, serta lebih selaras dengan kurikulum, dengan contoh-contoh ekologi dunia nyata. Mereka juga mendorong pembelajaran berbasis penemuan dan pemikiran kritis. Di sisi lain, buku teks swasta menawarkan cakupan yang lebih permukaan dengan kesalahan konseptual, berfokus pada hafalan dan pengetahuan teoretis. Temuan ini menyarankan bahwa buku teks pemerintah lebih cocok untuk mengembangkan pemahaman mendalam tentang keanekaragaman hayati, sementara buku teks swasta mungkin membatasi kemampuan siswa untuk terlibat dengan topik tersebut. Studi ini menyerukan peningkatan kualitas konten keanekaragaman hayati dalam buku teks untuk mendukung pembelajaran dan kesadaran siswa terhadap isu-isu ekologi. Penelitian masa depan dapat mengeksplorasi dampak perbedaan buku teks ini terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
