Abstract

This research explains: (1) How problem of teachingIslamic education for affective domain in SMAN 1 Bae Kudus; (2) How theteachers’effort of islamic education for affective domain in SMAN 1 Bae Kudus 2017 Academic Year. This research uses qualitative approach. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Bae Kudus. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. The data obtained is analyzed by data reduction measures, data presentation, and conclusions. The researcher collected the data while doing the analysis activity until the concluding. The results obtained in this research indicate that (1) Problematic in learning PAI affective domain at SMAN 1 Bae Kudus include: Students not aware of phenomenon, lack of attention, students less active in responding to the response, students have no confidence in value, The value becomes stable and active in itself, not able to internalize the value, the difficulty of controlling student development, teacher learning evaluation, and the influence of technological progress. (2) PAI teacher's efforts in overcoming problematic in affective learning include:Praying in beginning of learning, giving reprimand and satire, Teacher gives stimulus in the form of story, establishing closeness with student, applying method of discussion, inserting a story, applying method market place, Be a role model for students, transfering religious values intensively, organizing religious activities, provididing motivation, establishing communication between teachers, students, and parents, paying attention and observing learners’ behavior, and controlling the technological progress.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process by using the book entitled uqudul Juman fi Al-ilmi almaani wal  Bayan and to know the learning problems by using the book in Qudsiyyah Islamic High School, along with solutions. This is a qualitative study by using observation, interviews, questionnaires methods, and documentation as the technique of collecting data. The results of this study show that the process of learning by using the book Syarh uqudul Juman Fi ilmu almaani wal bayan in Qudsiyyah Islamic High School Kudus is using the deductive method, while learning problems include the problems caused by internal factors which consist of learning materials, teacher, student, methods and time allocation. While the problems caused by external factors consist of the role of stakeholders, funding sources of school development and government policy.

Abstract

The spread of information relates to Covid-19 on social media increasingly widespread causes the government to use persuasive communication patterns. However, the communication strategies carried out by the government through influencers do not fully receive support. The Instagram accounts of @najwashihab and @jrxsid are interesting to study because they have such a wide influence on the way the public views this pandemic. The construction of discourse developed by their Instagram content was analyzed. This study used critical discourse analysis method of text and documentation as well as content display analysis. It is found that these accounts have a variety of views in understanding the covid-19 phenomenon. Through textual analysis, social cognition, and social concepts initiated by Teun Van Dijk, these accounts incorporate the cognitive abilities in their posts. The @najwashihab account is much more acceptable than @jrxsid because its argument is in line with the narrative developed by the government. The language style used by @jrxsid shows a critical attitude towards policies that are pro to WHO. However, @jrxsidreceives more provocative comments from the followers than the @najwashihab account. In the same way, these accounts have similarities in their concern for the people affected by Covid-19. Both accounts have creativity in displaying content with an attractive visual style and have social responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the design of strengthening the learning of Arabic in MI NUMiftahul Ulum Loram Kulon Jati Kudus, one of the Islamic elementary schoolthat integrates the Ministry of Religion curriculum with the local curriculum, and is the only Islamic elementary school that still maintains salafi subjects. The researcher uses a qualitative case study type method, which is one type of research in which the researcher explores in depth the research object. Data collected by interview, observation and documentation, then the data are analyzed by means of reduction, presentation of data, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that the design of strengthening learning Arabic by collaborating with local subjects such as BTA in the lower classes, nahwu and shorof in the upper classes. With such a model students will easily understand Arabic material, and be able to analyze and present it with appropriate language rules.

Abstract

This study aims to elucidate the portrait of an educational institution that actualizes Islam Nusantara values in the process of transferring knowledge to the students. This study applied a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews and documentation at one madrasah in Kudus City, Central Java, namely Madrasah Qudsiyyah, which is very close to local traditions and culture. This study’s results revealed that the forms of Islam Nusantara values actualization in this institution were generally depicted in the uniform as madrasah identity, teaching materials/references using Javanese, learning methods, activity essences both in routine activities and specific events, and the teachers’ productivity with their scientific specifications; thus, they give nuances that are typical of the archipelago in this madrasah.

Abstract

This study explain the model of religious moderation in social life with the concept of living religion in Badongan community, at Tumpangkrasak village, Kudus Central Java. Here, people of Badongan are heterogeneous community consisting of interfaith even cross ethnicity. As known, Badongan has a mosque and two churches that are close together, but this does not necessarily cause conflict and clash because of a difference of their beliefs. This study uses descriptive qualitative method; the data is done by interview, and observation. The results of this study indicate that the religious moderation model has been strengthening tolerance values, eliminating social barriers in social activities, and getting along in harmony in every social activity. Such behavior can be entrenched because it is inseparable from the advice of the ancestors of Badongan who prioritize tolerance between religion communities, the view of citizens in society is far from negative attitudes and good communication between members of the community.

Abstract
