Abstract

This study intend to analyze the development of urban areas in Kecamatan Gambut and Kertak Hanyar Kabupaten Banjar. The research method using descriptive quantitative method. The results show that strategic location and support from government and private sector can be utilized for business and service development in Gambut and Kertak Hanyar sub-districts of Banjar Regency and make National Strategic Area (NSA)

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine how much influence the Oil Palm Commodity has on GRDP growth, especially in the Plantation Sub-Sector in South Kalimantan Province, and to find out how much influence oil palm has on the environment so that it calculates the Green GRDP. Data was collected from various sources, including the Central Bureau of Statistics, NASA aerospace, Bank Indonesia, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, NOAA, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) , Greenpeace, the Palm Oil Association, BBC, PT. Perkebunan Nusantara 5. This research uses the calculation of Depletion, Environmental Degradation, and Depreciation which is used to identify the amount of value to be obtained by Green GRDP, which is expected to contribute and in line with the enactment of Government Regulation No. 46 of 2017 concerning Environmental Economic Instruments. This study finds that the Sub-Sector of Oil Palm Commodity Plantation is sufficient to contribute to the value of conventional GRDP in South Kalimantan Province. The implementation of Green GRDP is expected to be implemented in every district / city in South Kalimantan Province in order to create a sustainable use of natural resources.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze and determine the priority strategies for poverty alleviation in Banjarmasin City, with a specific focus on cultural poverty, which remains the most dominant and deeply rooted form of poverty in the community. The research method combines Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The SWOT approach is employed to identify various internal and external factors influencing the effectiveness of poverty alleviation programs, as well as to formulate relevant and applicable strategic alternatives. Meanwhile, the AHP method is utilized to determine the priority order of these strategies based on expert assessments and stakeholder evaluations who possess expertise in social and economic development. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven key informants actively involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of poverty alleviation programs in Banjarmasin City. The findings indicate that the priority strategies that need to be developed include strengthening community empowerment institutions, improving human resource capacity, and enhancing the poverty data system to ensure validity, accuracy, and inter-agency integration. Policy recommendations emphasize the importance of cross-sectoral synergy, collaboration among development actors, and the implementation of evidence-based policies to ensure that poverty alleviation efforts are more effective, sustainable, and have a tangible impact on society.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a role in economic growth in the region. One of the MSMEs commonly found is street vendors. Especially in the Water Front City area of Muara Teweh, the income of street vendors is very varied due to certain factors.This study aims to determine the effect of factors such as the number of visitors, capital,working hours, age, and education level individually and simultaneously (simultaneously) on the income of street vendors. This research was conducted by quantitative method, where primary data was collected by questionnaire method. The results showed that the factors of capital and working hours had a positive impact on the income of street vendors. Meanwhile,the number of visitors, age, and level of education does not affect the income of street vendors.Meanwhile, the factors that were tested simultaneously (simultaneously) had a significant positive impact on the income of street vendors.
