Abstract

Background: Sunburn is an acute inflammatory skin condition caused by exposure to UV rays. Excessive exposure increases the production of  ROS which, if accumulated, can lyse growth factors, one of which is PDGF and also form IL-10 immune suppression. This condition can be influenced by providing antioxidants and anti-inflammatories such as those contained in sapodilla leaf extract (Manilkara zapota (L.) P. Royen) which has many benefits such as anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, anti-tumor, antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti- diabetic, anti-lipid and anti-aging. In previous research, the polyphenol content in Sapodilla leaves was a potential source of inhibiting ROS. However, until now the role of Sapodilla leaf extract on UVB burns has not been studied.Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the effect of administering Sapodilla leaf extract cream on PDFG and IL-10 in Wistar rats that experienced burns due to exposure to UVB.Method: Experimental research with a post test only control group design approach. This research used 24 Wistar rats exposed to UVB rays which were divided into 4 groups (normal control, control with cream, 25% Sapodilla leaf extract cream, and 50% Sapodilla leaf extract cream). The ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) method was used to analyze PDGF and IL-10 levels in skin tissue.Results: The highest ratio of PDGF levels was found in (K3) 2.915 ± 0.368. The results of the one way Anova analysis had a p value of 0.024 (p<0.05) which stated that there were significant differences between treatment groups. In IL-10 levels there was an increase in K3 255.9 ± 35,563. In IL-10, the results of one way Anova analysis had a p value of 0.240 (p>0.05), which stated that there were no significant differences between treatment groups.Conclusion: Administration of sapodilla leaf extract cream at a dose of 25% had a significant effect on increasing PDGF levels and a slight increase in IL-10 in mice that experienced burns due to exposure to UVB.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi merupakan bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari dunia usaha terutama dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif. Salah satu kegiatan yang sering kita temui dalam perusahaan adalah pengambilan keputusan. Perusahaan ABC merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang properti perumahan di Palembang dengan penilaian dalam menentukan Staf Marketing Terbaik saat ini masih menggunakan survei yang belum objektif dan hanya melihat berdasarkan jumlah customer yang didapat kan oleh Staf Marketing tersebut. Maka akan dikembangkan sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Staf Marketing Terbaik. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan Metodologi RUP, use case diagram, class diagram, activity diagram, entity relationship diagram, bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan Framework Laravel dan database MySql. Hasil dari pembuatan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan dalam pemilihan karyawan terbaik dengan lebih mudah dan membuat penilaian menjadi objektif dan membuat para marketing lebih termotivasi lagi dalam berloma-berloma mengerjar reward Staf Marketing Terbaik.

Abstract

The imperfections in the ignition system have a significant impact on the power, torque, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions of the engine. The ignition system in motorcycles has evolved from platinum technology to CDI. Current CDI systems commonly restrict spark ignition at specific revolutions. This study employs experimental methods to compare the CDI Unlimiter BRT Powermax Dual Band with CDI Limiter on motorcycles, focusing on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The fuel consumption test results indicate that the CDI Unlimiter is more efficient compared to the CDI Limiter. There is a decrease in emissions (CO), but an increase in emissions (HC) is observed with the CDI Unlimiter. Recommendations for further research could focus on enhancing fuel efficiency without increasing HC emissions. This study has the potential to serve as a foundation for the development of more environmentally friendly motorcycles in the future. Ketidaksempurnaan sistem pengapian berdampak signifikan pada daya, torsi, konsumsi bahan bakar, dan emisi gas buang dari mesin. Sistem pengapian pada sepeda motor berkembang dari teknologi platina ke CDI. CDI yang digunakan saat ini umumnya membatasi percikan api pada putaran tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk membandingkan CDI Unlimiter BRT Powermax Dual Band dengan CDI Limiter pada sepeda motor, fokus pada konsumsi bahan bakar dan emisi gas buang. Hasil uji konsumsi bahan bakar menunjukkan bahwa CDI Unlimiter lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan CDI Limiter. Terdapat penurunan pada emisi (CO), namun terjadi peningkatan emisi (HC) pada CDI Unlimiter. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dapat berfokus pada bagaimana meningkatkan efisiensi bahan bakar tanpa meningkatkan emisi HC. Penelitian ini berpotensi menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan sepeda motor yang lebih ramah lingkungan di masa depan.
