Abstract

Almost all corporate financing in the agriculture sector is dependent on interest. Because the features of the agricultural sector are incompatible with the finance sector, banks often show little interest in funding the agricultural sector. The purpose of this study were Analyze the socio-economics factors that influence the decision of horticultural farmers in East Java in accessing microfinance. The method of determining the location of the research was carried out in two locations, namely Wonomulyo Village, Poncokusumo Subdistrict, Malang Regency, dan Pacet Village, Pacet Subdistrict, Mojokerto Regency. 160 farmers were chosen as the study's sample size using the proportionate stratified sampling technique and the Slovin formula. To answer these problems descriptive analysis, logistic regression analysis (logit) was used. Formal institutions assigned to channel the funds include government banks and private banks. Informal institutions that carry out the distribution of micro-credit funds are the private sector or institutions from the farmers themselves. The majority of farmers generally know that the level of formal financing sources is indeed lower, but administrative procedures are considered difficult. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis for the factors that influence the decisions of Horiculture farmers in East Java in accessing credit, including education, length of business, land area, and income. It is recommended that in order to formulate steps for the ease of taking out agricultural loan, Field Extension Officers, regional cooperatives, government banks, and private banks should conduct specific studies and take specific approaches.

Abstract

Abstract

In agricultural growth, the horticulture subsector holds a crucial place. However, one of the most common and productive challenges that farmers deal with is capital limits. Lack of financing is frequently cited as a barrier to addressing rising production costs and erratic commodities selling prices. Financing for factors of production becomes challenging as a result. This study aims to analyze the influence of farm production factors on the income of horticultural farmers in East Java. Data collection was conducted in two locations, namely Wonomulyo Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency, and Pacet Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency. These two locations were chosen purposefully because they are horticulturally producing centers in East Java with the most financial institutions, with a total of 160 respondents. Data collection methods can include interviews using a questionnaire tool. To fulfill the research objective, multiple regression analysis has been used. The land area variable has the most influence since income and land area interact in such a way that as land area is utilized, revenue rises accordingly. The data indicates that there is a positive significance between land area and income in East Java's horticulture farms. Farmers need to seek to intensify horticulture to increase production on existing land with a farming venture. As well as the development of the agribusiness system through Cooperative Farming.

Abstract

In recent years, supply chains have received attention from researchers and business practitioners. Many studies have been conducted to identify what factors affect supply chain competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of trust and relationship quality on the supply chain of agricultural cooperatives. This study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as the analysis method and used primary data collected from dairy producers or farmers, management staff of Agricultural Cooperatives, and retailers involved in the dairy supply chain in Malang District. The conceptual model consisted of four hypotheses. The results show that the hypotheses are proven, which means that the variables of trust, communication quality, and relationship quality have a positive effect on the competitiveness of Agricultural Cooperatives. The results also show that the competitiveness of Agricultural Cooperatives simultaneously affects the trust of producers or farmers in Agricultural Cooperatives. This means that the higher the competitiveness of Agricultural Cooperatives, the higher the trust of producers or farmers towards Agricultural Cooperatives.

Profit marketing margin analysis, the ratio of profit was taken over the costs incurred by each marketing institution in the four marketing channels could be said to be generally efficient. The price share that was received by farmers in marketing channel IV is the highest sahre among the other channels. The research survey was conducted on new students from the faculty of agriculture after they attended student orientation. While the analysis used is descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and logistic regression analysis, which have previously been tested for the validity and reliability of research data. The research finding is that there are three main factors in the perception of the younger generation towards agriculture, namely individual perceptions, economic perceptions, and socio-cultural perceptions. In the meantime, only the economic perception factor has a big effect on young people's desire to work in agriculture.Â
