Abstract

In general, every student in accounting who has just taken accounting education has a positive attitude toward accounting. However, over the course of their study, the attitude is thought to change, both ini a positive and negative direction. This study aims to test whether there are differences between senior and junior accounting students in attitude towards accounting as a discipline, accounting as a group activity, accounting as a profession and accounting as a career. The research was conducted using a questionnaire adopted from Accounting Attitudes Scale by Nelson and consisted of 15 question items. Research respondents were students of one university in Yogyakarta, which consisted of first semester students (junior students) and final semester students (senior students). Total respondents obtained were 161 respondents. The research results from testing using Mann Whitney test showed that there was significantly difference in the attitude toward accounting as a discipline, accounting as a group activities, accounting as a profession and accounting as a career between yunior and senior students. The overall results of the hypothesis also show that the attitude scores of senior students are lower than those of junior students. This indicates a decrease in positive attitudes along with experience in learning accounting at the university

Abstract

The number of Covid-19 cases worldwide continues to show a rapid increase. As of October 31, 2020, the number of cases has reached 45,866,380 and 1,192,684 deaths worldwide, 410,088 people exposed and 13,869 people died in Indonesia. The study aims to determine the extent of the impact of Covid-19 on the Indonesian economy in terms of national income, which is calculated based on the mode of production (business field) Y =  (Pi.Qi)), and predictions in the future, if possible. The Covid-19 pandemic is still going on for a long time. Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) which were implemented in various regions in Indonesia in April and May, suppressed economic activity in all sectors. Some business sectors have been forced to lay off their employees. Meanwhile, people hold their consumption until conditions are more stable. As a result, Indonesia's economic growth in the second quarter of 2020 contracted by 5.3 percent (YoY). Contribution of corrections came from mining and quarrying (-2.72%), processing industry (6.19%), electricity and gas procurement (-5.46), construction (-5.39%), Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Cars and Motorcycles (-7.57%), Transportation and Warehousing (-30.84%), Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink (-22.02), company services (-12.09%), and other services ( -12.60%). Then other sectors grew positively in the range of 1.03% -10.88%, with the largest positive growth contribution in the information and communication sector by 10.88%.

Data collection techniques through interviews with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaries. This study uses quantitative analysis techniques using validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linier regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test ( t test and F test). The result of the study obtained the result of the regression equation Y = 0,431+0,091X1+0,289X2+0,534X3, which means that product, promotion, and service quality affect purchasing decisions through online motorcycle taxis (ojol) during the covid-19 period in the city of Yogyakarta

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM) and on banking stock prices in Indonesia during 2019-2021. The population in this study are 33 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2019-2021. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling techniques so that 33 banking companies are obtained. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. Data analysis techniques were carried out using classical assumption tests which included normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests and autocorrelation tests. While hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the ROA variable has a partial effect on stock prices as evidenced by a significant value of 0.013 <0.05. For the ROE variable, it has no partial effect on stock prices as evidenced by a significant value of 0.860 > 0.05. While the NPM variable has no partial effect on stock prices, it is proven that the significant value is 0.350 > 0.05. For the independent variables Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) affect the dependent variable on stock prices by 9.9%. Simultaneously all ROA, ROE and NPM variables have a significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

In the era of advanced and modern globalization, people are required to be more selective in choosing banking products. On the other hand, banks must be able to maintain their marketshare. One way to seize the market is with CSR programs. BRI as one of the largest banks in Indonesia has a CSR program with the hope of increasing customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is todetermine the influence between CSR commitment to consumer loyalty through trust intervening variables. This study used quantitative methods with the research population of BRI customers. This study has several variables, namely the influence of CSR commitment (X) as an independent variable, consumer loyalty (Y) as a dependent variable, and trust as a mediating or intervening variable. This research involved 150 BRI customer respondents in Klaten Regency. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can beconclude dthat: 1) CSR commitment has a direct effect on consumer loyalty with an estimate regression weight coefficient value of 0.164 and a C.R. value of 2.117. The significance test between variable (X) andvariable (Y) shows a probability valueof 0.034 (p < 0.05). 2) Trust has a direct effect on consumer loyalty with an estimate regression weight coefficient value of 0.740 and a C.R. value of 7.799. The significance test between variable (Z) and variable (Y) shows a probability valueof 0.000 (p < 0.05). 3) CSR commitment has a direct effect on Trust  with an estimate regression weight coefficient value of 0.726 and a C.R. value of 7.931. The significance test between variable (X) andvariable (Y) shows a probability valueof 0.000 (p < 0.05). 4) the effect ofthe mediation variable was tested usingthe Sobel test with t calculated resultsof 2.031 > 1.96 with a signification level of 0.000 < 0.05. These results show that variable (X) has a positive influence on variable (Y) and mediating variable has a positive and significant influence on variable (X) and variable (Y). So, CSR commitment can affect consumer loyalty through intervening variables, namely BRI customertrust. Keyword : Li festyle, consumer buying interest, trend, product knowledge.
