Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi khususnya internet, telah mempengaruhi akses dan transfer informasi secara signifikan termasuk dalam sistem pembayaran. Internet Service Provider (ISP) Murni Jaya, yang merupakan bagian dari BUMDES di Desa Sumbermulyo, Jombang, Jawa Timur, masih menggunakan metode pembayaran konvensional. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, dikembangkan Sistem Pembayaran Online berbasis Payment Gateway Midtrans. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempermudah pelanggan dalam melakukan pembayaran tagihan dan meningkatkan kenyamanan serta efektivitas proses pembayaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall, meliputi spesifikasi, pengembangan, validasi, solusi, dan representasi, melalui tahapan perancangan perangkat lunak, implementasi, pengujian, dan spesifikasi persyaratan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sistem pembayaran dengan Payment Gateway Midtrans melalui metode Snap yang mendukung lebih dari 25 metode pembayaran, memberikan kemudahan dan fleksibilitas bagi pelanggan. Sistem ini menyederhanakan proses pembayaran dan meningkatkan kenyamanan serta kepuasan pelanggan dalam bertransaksi online.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop coil heater technology as an alternative heat source to replace wood in the brick-firing process. The research methodology involves the design of an efficient and environmentally friendly coil heater and its implementation in the brick production process. In this study, the performance of the coil heater is analyzed to ensure that the generated heat is sufficient for the brick-firing requirements. The research findings indicate that coil heater technology is capable of providing the necessary heat to achieve optimal temperatures in the brick-firing process. Furthermore, the use of this coil heater technology successfully reduces dependence on wood as the primary fuel source. The implementation of coil heater technology in the brick-making industry is expected to make a positive contribution to the environment and the sustainability of natural resources. This research stimulates innovation in the development of alternative technologies that can reduce carbon footprints and improve the overall efficiency and sustainability of brick production processes.

Abstract

Intercultural communication involves participants from different cultural backgrounds that influence the way they communicate. This study aims to analyze language and cross-cultural communication in the film “Ajari Aku Islam” by Haris Suhud and Yunita R Saragi, using critical theory based on the thoughts of Robert N. Entman. The analysis was conducted on different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method with data collection using documentation techniques, as well as listening and note-taking techniques. This movie displays conflicts in a family with different religious and cultural backgrounds, which result in barriers in intercultural communication. The results showed that intercultural communication can run well if there is tolerance, an open mindset towards cultural differences, and the ability to adjust to the values, norms, and religions adopted by individuals or community groups.

Abstract

Corrosion of reinforcement due to chloride ion penetration from seawater significantly affects the durability of reinforced concrete structures. The diffusion of chloride ions into concrete accelerates this degradation. The present study monitors corrosion potential on concrete surfaces using the half-cell potential method and measures chloride ion penetration depth via the chloride colorimetric method. Findings indicate that wet-dry cycles accelerate chloride ion penetration, with longer soaking intervals correlating with increased corrosion levels. Within 30 days, concrete initially free of corrosion exhibited potential values ranging from -417 mV to -489.3 mV after wet-dry treatment. Furthermore, colorimetric analysis revealed clear differences in ion diffusion before and after treatment.

Abstract

The lack of public understanding regarding how to design, assemble and regulate automatic school bells is the basis for holding training on designing microcontroller-based devices with the aim of providing knowledge and real experience in designing, building and operating technological systems that can become the potential for creative and innovative villages. Participants in this activity were 8 teenagers from the Gambiran Village Youth Organization. This training will be held on September 2, 2023 at 09.00 WIB at the Gambiran Village hall, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency. The resource person in this training was one of the lecturers at K.H.A University. Wahab Hasbullah, namely Mr. Hasan Bisri Isa Al Faris, S.Kom. The approach method for community service activities in this program uses the CBR (Community Based Research) method. As a result of this training activity, participants know how to design, assemble and set up an automatic school bell which is relatively easy. This training received a good and positive response as evidenced by the community satisfaction through the results of the questionnaire after participating in the training which reached 79.2% which was classified as "Good".
