Abstract

Abstract. The author's experience in teaching material all this time shows that most students feel boredom in their learning, students are still less active in asking questions and responding to learning, students only listen to the teacher's explanation. So, it needs to be given an effective way of learning. There needs to be an effort to introduce a way to help students learn to master concepts and are interrelated so that they can learn meaningfully. One alternative that can meet expectations is the use of concept mapping strategies, especially strategies in the teaching and learning process on mutation material, which is given to students of class XII IPA 6 even semester 2015. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation and reflection. The results showed that the use of concept mapping strategies in the learning process can improve the process and learning outcomes of students in learning biology in the mutation material of students of class XII IPA-6 Makassar Senior High School 7. Student learning achievement obtained from the first cycle to the second cycle is the highest value achieved is 85 and 95. The average score from the first cycle to the second cycle is 71.74 and 85. Student responses to learning using concept mapping strategies can increase student learning motivation , facilitate learning for students, can attract students 'attention to learning, increase the quality of learning and can increase students' interest in learning. Abstract

Abstract.Achieving effective teaching and learning is not possible only with methods that are teacher centered or one-way communication, but must also be a method that is multi-purpose or student centered. The study aims to determine the improvement of the quality of the process and student learning outcomes with experiential learning on biology subjects. Research is a class action research, as an alternative effort that can be done by teachers to develop and improve the quality of learning, where classroom teachers are actors of action or teachers as researchers. This research is a cyclical study consisting of 4 stages, namely: planning, taking action, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 7 in Makassar 1 Public High School, with 34 subjects as subjects, in the even semester 2018/2019 academic year. The results showed that the process and results of learning biology can be improved by using experiential learning in class X MIPA 7 Makassar 1 Public High School. Abstract

Abstract. Efforts to improve the quality of learning processes and outcomes through various optimal learning models need to be carried out by teachers in schools, where teachers play a very important role in preparing students to take part in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine: the application of the discovery learning model to improve student learning activities in class XII MIPA 8 SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. This research is a classroom action research, which investigates student factors, teacher factors and student learning activities. The location of this research is SMA Negeri 2 Makassar, class XII IPA 8 as many as 36 students in the Odd Semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Action implementation consists of 2 (two) cycles followed by activities: Planning, Action, Observation and Reflection. The results showed that by applying the discovery learning model of class XII MIPA 8 students could increase student learning activities. The increase in student activity is indicated by the increase in the percentage of student learning activeness. In the first cycle the percentage of student activity reached 40.27%, in the second cycle, the percentage of student activity increased to 76.38%. This shows that the percentage of student activity has increased and has reached the predetermined indicators of success. Keywords: discovery learning model, learning activity

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik kelas X Keperawatan SMKS Kesehatan Baubau. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 13 peserta didik kelas X Keperawatan SMKS Kesehatan Baubau yang terdiri dari tiga laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Berdasarkan pengamatan pembelajaran pada siklus pertama, tingkat keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai 38,46% dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kognitif mencapai 61,54. Pada siklus kedua, peneliti dengan penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning (PBL) yang disesuaikan dengan hasil refleksi siklus pertama mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik hingga mencapai 46,15% namun rata-rata nilai hasil belajar hanya mencapai 70. Pemantapan pembelajaran dilakukan pada siklus ketiga, dampak positif dari hal tersebut mampu meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik yakni 92,30% dari jumlah peserta didik kelas X Keperawatan dinyatakan aktif baik dalam pembelajaran dan mendapatkan niai lebih dari 70 (KKM) disertai rata-rata nilai mencapai 90.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan siswa SMAN 2 Makassar melalui pendampingan proyek inovatif kokurikuler untuk memperkuat keterampilan abad 21 serta mendukung pelaksanaan asesmen formatif-sumatif. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi siswa meliputi keterbatasan dalam memulai dan menstrukturkan proyek, kurangnya kemampuan mengidentifikasi masalah berbasis data, rendahnya konsistensi kolaborasi tim, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan umpan balik dalam perbaikan produk. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu: (1) pembekalan melalui orientasi kokurikuler, penyepakatan aturan main, pengenalan alur LK, serta asesmen diagnostik awal untuk memetakan kesiapan peserta; (2) pendampingan praktik melalui pengerjaan LK 1–17 menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) secara bertahap disertai coaching dan asesmen formatif pada setiap LK sebagai dasar pemberian umpan balik; dan (3) monitoring, evaluasi, dan publikasi melalui penilaian sumatif akhir, refleksi individu/ kelompok, pameran/ pitching proyek, serta penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut program. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan kemandirian siswa dalam merancang solusi, kualitas kolaborasi, dan kemampuan komunikasi melalui presentasi proyek, yang tercermin dari capaian formatif LK dan skor sumatif akhir dengan dominasi kategori berkembang sesuai harapan hingga sangat berkembang. Program ini menghasilkan luaran berupa modul LK 1–17 yang siap digunakan sekolah, rubrik penilaian formatif–sumatif, serta produk/prototipe dan materi presentasi siswa sebagai bukti capaian pembelajaran dan keberlanjutan kegiatan kokurikuler.  Kata kunci : Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, Program Kokurikuler, Pembelajaran Mendalam, Keterampilan Abad 21, Asesmen Formatif, Asesmen Sumatif, Inovatif, Proyek, Kolaborasi AbstractThis community service program aims to empower students of SMAN 2 Makassar through mentoring in innovative co-curricular projects to strengthen 21st-century skills and to support the implementation of formative–summative assessment. The main problems faced by students include limited ability to initiate and structure projects, insufficient skills in identifying data-driven problems, low consistency in team collaboration, and suboptimal use of feedback to improve their products. The program method: (1) capacity building through co-curricular orientation, agreement on ground rules, introduction to the LK workflow, and an initial diagnostic assessment to map participants’ readiness; (2) hands-on mentoring through completion of LK 1–17 by gradually applying deep learning, accompanied by coaching and formative assessment for each LK as the basis for providing feedback; and (3) monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination through a final summative assessment, individual/group reflection, a project exhibition/pitching session, and the development of a follow-up action plan for the program. The results indicate increased student independence in designing solutions, improved collaboration quality, and stronger communication skills through project presentations, as reflected in formative LK achievement and final summative scores, predominantly within the categories of “developing as expected” to “highly developed.” The program produced outputs in the form of an LK 1–17 module ready for school use, formative–summative assessment rubrics, and student products/prototypes and presentation materials as evidence of learning achievement and the sustainability of co-curricular activities. Keywords : Community Service Program, Co-Curricular Program, Deep learning (Pedagogical Approach), 21st-Century Skills, Formative Assessment, Summative Assessment, Innovative, Project, Collaboration

Abstract

The QR Code-based Pharmacy Program at SMA Negeri 2 Makassar is a learning innovation that combines digital technology with the use of medicinal plants as contextual learning resources. This activity aims to improve students' digital literacy while deepening their understanding of medicinal plants through fast and interactive access to information using QR Codes. The program will be implemented from September 18 to November 26, 2025, involving students and teachers in medicinal plant planting activities and utilizing QR Codes to obtain digital information related to plants. The results of the implementation show various medicinal plants such as Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Galangal (Kaempferia galanga), Javanese ginger (Curcuma xanthorrhiza), White turmeric (Curcuma zedoaia), Chili (Capsicum sp.), Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutscens), Coral cactus (Euphorbia lactea), Mother-in-law's tongue (Dracaena trifasciata), Aloe vera (Aloe vera), Variegated bone fracture (Euphorbia tirucali L.), Sambang colok (Ouret sanguinolenta), Malabar spinach (Basella alba), Aglonema lipstick (Aglaonema commutatum), Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), Binahong (Anredera cordifolia), Kaffir lime (Citrus hystrix), Happy leaf (Dieffenbachia sp.), Ceriman (Monstera deliciosa), Blood leaf (Iresina herbstii), Chinese betel leaf (Paperomia pellucida). were successfully planted and given identity labels along with QR Codes containing scientific explanations. Students showed a positive response because QR Codes were considered easy, fast, and made learning more interesting. Thus, the QR Code-based Pharmacy program has proven effective in supporting contextual learning and improving digital literacy through direct learning experiences and interactive information access.
