Abstract

Every effective, inventive, and creative educational procedure will result in high-caliber students. Hence, every instructor should be able to instruct using a good, student-friendly learning model so that when learning is implemented, pupils can do so successfully. Apart from selecting the learning model to be utilized, the teacher must have innovative ideas and methods for creating instructional materials that will be delivered to students, especially in English content, if they are to follow the learning process with ease. One of these involves employing educational media. Students will be able to follow the learning process with excitement and fun if appropriate learning materials are used, which will prevent them from becoming disinterested. With the "APE media Secret Food Chain Box," this problem-based learning can be carried out. Problem-based learning, where problems from a lesson are used to help students build their problem-solving skills and also.

Abstract

One of the innovations in English Language Teaching is the use of moving images. This research aims to investigate how animation contribute to the students' achievement in their English class. A classroom action research was applied with 39 first grade students involved. Observation sheet, test and documentations were used to collect the data. Three components (reduction activity, data presentation and interpretation) were used to analyse the collected data. The results indicate that the use of animation can significantly enhance lower class of primary school students’ achievements in learning English. This can be measured through their average score improvement. This result suggests teachers use moving images in order to assist students’ progress in learning English. This study implies that teachers should equip themselves with a skill to create fun classroom activities through animation. HIGHIGHTS: The application of moving picture media in classroom activities can significantly improve students’ competence and achievement in learning English for first grade of second semester in Primary School. Teachers' digital literacy need to be heightened through their active contribution in workshop or other teacher professional development activities. This helps them to build their creativity to make more modification and development of animation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of e-modules based on life-based learning for improving students' critical thinking skills. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, document checklists, and tests. The results indicated that material expert validation yielded a value of 3.83 (95.8%), categorizing it as very valid, while media expert validation resulted in a value of 3.70 (92.5%), also classified as very valid. Linguist validation achieved a value of 3.85 (96.4%), falling into the very valid category. The practicality test of the product scored 98.4%, indicating it is very interesting and practical. The t-test results revealed a significant increase in critical thinking skills after using e-modules based on life-based learning. Specifically, the pre-test average score was 64.25, and the post-test average score was 88.41. The t-test p-value was 0.00 (less than 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This shows that: 1) the e-module is practical, interesting, and effective as a learning tool for enhancing students' critical thinking skills, and 2) there is a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyse the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of Integrated Online Course Learning (IOCL) application in improving students' digital literacy skills. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, document checklists and tests in the form of descriptive quantitative data. The analysis technique used in this research is mixed data analysis technique.  Based on the results of media expert validation, a value of 3.68 (92.18%) was obtained, which means very feasible, for the results of material expert validation obtained a value of 3.83 (95.71%) with a very feasible category, while the results of linguist validation obtained a value of 3.80 (95.00%) with a very feasible category. The practicality test of this product obtained a score of 94.64%, including in the category of very effective and practical to use. The results of the t-test showed a significant increase in students' digital literacy skills after receiving different treatments, namely using the IOCL Application. Based on the results of the t-test analysis of the average value of the control class 70.25 and the research class 87.50. Based on the data sig value. (2-tailed) or t-test p-value of 0.00 which means <0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows: 1) This IOCL application has a positive influence on students' digital literacy skills, and 2) IOCL application has practicality, and effectiveness to be used as a learning model to improve students' digital literacy skills.

Abstract

Music royalties remain a crucial yet often debated issue in Indonesia's café and restaurant sector, especially in Muslim-majority regions where legal obligations intersect with Sharia economic principles. Previous studies tend to address royalty disputes from either a legal or religious angle, leaving a gap for an integrated approach. This study seeks to fill that gap by combining a quantitative revenue estimation model with fiqh muamalah analysis to determine royalty obligations. Using Strong Coffee café as a case study, the research applies a descriptive–quantitative method. Data collection is based on operational assumptions, including average spending per customer, turnover rate, adequate seating capacity, and the applicable royalty tariff. Revenue is estimated by calculating monthly income derived from seat capacity and daily utilization, followed by a proportional royalty assessment. Findings indicate that with 69 seats, a three-time daily turnover, and an average spending of IDR 11,000, the café's monthly revenue reaches approximately IDR 31.7 million, resulting in a royalty payment of IDR 345,000. The study presents a novel perspective: royalty compliance constitutes not only a legal requirement but also a moral and religious duty under Sharia, thereby reinforcing business ethics and consumer trust. The paper concludes with recommendations for regular internal audits and Sharia-based outreach programs for policymakers.
