Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan jagung selama satu kali musim panen serta menguji pengaruh bibit, pupuk dan luas lahan terhadap produksi jagung di Kelurahan Koya Barat Distrik Muara Tami Kota Jayapura. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi lapangan dan kepustakaan. Hasil analisis tingkat pendapatan menunjukkan bahwa usaha tani jagung layak dikembangkan oleh petani. Secara simultan faktor bibit, pupuk dan luas lahan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi jagung. Secara parsial faktor bibit dan luas lahan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi jangung dan faktor pupuk berpengaruh signifikan tetapi negatif terhadap produksi jagung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas, dan leverage terhadap keputusan investasi perusahaan sektor transportasi dan logistik yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2020-2022, dengan growth opportunity sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan yang menjadi sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) untuk menguji pengaruh variabel-variabel independen dan peran moderasi growth opportunity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas dan profitabilitas tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi, sementara leverage memiliki pengaruh signifikan. Perusahaan dengan tingkat leverage yang lebih tinggi cenderung lebih aktif dalam melakukan investasi, mendukung teori Pecking Order yang menyatakan bahwa perusahaan lebih mengutamakan pendanaan eksternal ketika sumber internal tidak mencukupi. Namun, growth opportunity tidak berhasil memoderasi pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas, maupun leverage terhadap keputusan investasi. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajer keuangan dan investor dalam sektor transportasi dan logistik, dengan menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan leverage yang bijaksana untuk mendukung keputusan investasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal, seperti kondisi pasar dan kebijakan pemerintah, dalam analisis keputusan investasi.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of training and work discipline on employee performance, with competency as a mediating variable at the Office of Harbormaster and Port Authority Class II Jayapura. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with 66 respondents. The findings reveal that training has a positive and significant impact on employee competency, while work discipline also positively and significantly influences competency. Furthermore, employee competency significantly enhances performance. Additionally, both training and work discipline have a direct and indirect positive and significant effect on performance through competency mediation. These results underscore the importance of effective training and work discipline strategies in enhancing employee competency, ultimately contributing to improved organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction, work motivation, work discipline, and work environment on the performance of employees at the Office of Class II Port Authority and Harbormaster Jayapura, both simultaneously and partially. The study also seeks to identify the variable that has the most dominant influence on employee performance. The sample in this study consisted of 66 employees, and the data analysis technique used was multiple regression, processed using SPSS version 23. The results indicate that the variables of job satisfaction, work motivation, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, the variables of job satisfaction, work motivation, work discipline, and work environment also have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Among these variables, job satisfaction is identified as the most dominant variable contributing to employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of competency variables, work motivation and discipline that have an impact on the performance of assistants in the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs in Jayapura City. The sample unit in this study is a staff of 42 employees, taken using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that (1). Simultaneously, the variables of competence, work motivation, and discipline have a significant positive impact on the performance of assistants but are significant (2). Partially, the competence variable has a positive and significant effect, however, motivation has a positive and significant effect and the discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the assistants (3). The variable of work motivation dominantly has a significant effect on the performance of the assistant staff.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of leadership and organizational culture on job satisfaction and employee performance at the Office of Harbormaster and Port Authority Class II Jayapura. Using the SEM-PLS method, this research finds that effective leadership and strong organizational culture positively and significantly affect job satisfaction, which in turn impacts the improvement of employee performance. The results indicate that leadership and organizational culture not only have a direct influence on performance but also indirectly through the mediation of job satisfaction. With a study population of 65 employees, a questionnaire instrument was used to measure the variables analyzed, namely leadership, organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employee performance. The findings emphasize the importance of an integrated approach between leadership and organizational culture to achieve optimal job satisfaction and performance. Recommendations are provided for organizations to develop leadership training programs and strengthen an innovative and supportive work culture. For future research, it is suggested to expand the population scope and consider other variables, such as work motivation, to enrich the study's findings. This research contributes to the development of a model for improving employee performance through the synergy of leadership and organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and work environment on employee performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable, at the Harbormaster’s Office and Class II Port Authority in Jayapura. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships between variables. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees as research respondents. The findings indicate that both work discipline and work environment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Furthermore, work motivation has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Work discipline also directly influences performance, while the work environment affects performance indirectly through work motivation. These results highlight the role of work motivation as an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between work discipline and work environment with employee performance. Thus, enhancing work discipline and fostering a supportive work environment can serve as effective strategies to improve employee performance.

Abstract

At the level of village government, the Village (Kampung) is a legal community unit that has the authority to regulate and manage the interests of the local community based on the origin and local customs recognized in the National Government system and located in the Regency area. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of village fund governance (transparency, participation, and accountability) on the satisfaction of the people of Nawa Mulya Village, Yapsi District, Jayapura Regency. This research method uses quantitative research on descriptive design with T and F tests. Results There is an effect of village fund governance (transparency) (X1) on Community Satisfaction in NawaMulya Village, Yapsi District, Jayapura Regency. The higher the level of transparency, the higher the public satisfaction. There was an effect of village fund governance (participation) (X2) on Community Satisfaction in NawaMulya Village, Yapsi District, Jayapura Regency. The higher the level of transparency, the higher the public satisfaction. There was an effect of village fund governance (participation) (X2) on Community Satisfaction in NawaMulya Village, Yapsi District, Jayapura Regency. The higher the level of community participation, the higher the community satisfaction. There is an effect of village fund governance (accountability) (X3) on Community Satisfaction in NawaMulya Village, Yapsi District, Jayapura Regency. The higher the level of accountability, the higher the satisfaction of the community. Conclusion There is a significant influence between the variables of transparency, participation and accountability of fund management on community satisfaction in Nawa Mulya Village, Yapsi District, Jayapura Regency.
