Abstract

Pencahayaan berperan penting terhadap kenyamanan visual dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Pencahayaan yang kurang baik akan mengangu proses belajar mengajar sehingga belajar menjadi tidak nyaman dan dapat mengurangi konsentrasi. Sistem pencahayaan cerdas (smart lighting) dirancang untuk kenyamanan visual dan penghematan energi listrik. Untuk penghematan energi listrik smart lighting dirancang dalam satu ruangan, akan dibagi menjadi beberapa sel/titik. Sehingga kontrol lampu diatur oleh masing-masing sel/titik. Lampu yang akan menyala dengan luminasi 250-300 lux, hanya sel/titik yang memiliki hunian. Sedangan sel yang tidak memiliki hunian, tapi disel/ titik yang lain ada hunian, akan menyala dengan luminasi 20% dari standar. Dan lampu akan mati apabila dalam ruangan tidak memiliki hunian. Kondisi lingkungan seperti cahaya alami, intensitas cahaya interior, dan tingkat hunian dikumpulkan dari sensor PIR dan sensor cahaya BH1750 akan diproses oleh mikrokontroller. Selanjutnya mikrokontroller akan mengeluarkan nilai PWM, sebagai inputan untuk rangkaian dimmer. Rangkaian dimmer digabungkan dengan rangkaian zero crossing detector, untuk mengendalikan beban lampu LED dimmable dengan sumber AC. Sistem smart lighting dengan sistem sel ini mampu mencapai penghematan energi listrik sebesar 50%.

Abstract

Salah satu Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari UNIVERSITAS LANGLABUANA adalah mengoptimalkan perangkat air purifier yang dipasang di ruangan KLINIK UTAMA FATIMAH UJUNG BERUNG BANDUNG. Tujuan pengoptimalan ini adalah sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mencegah penularan COVID-19. Kemudian kepada beberapa petugas klinik tersebut diberikan pembekalan pelatihan pengoprasian, serta diminta untuk memberikan masukan berupa umpan balik dari pengalaman pengoperasian alat air purifier tersebut. Umpan balik tersebut dievaluasi dengan pendekatan kwalitatif untuk membangun pemahaman baru menggunakan ground-theory. Hasilnya ternyata mengindikasikan bahwa alat air purifier berpotensi menjadi pilar kesehatan masayarakat. Hal ini tentu merupakan kajian awal, sehingga masih memerlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memastikan simpulan tersebut.

Abstract

Keselamatan merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi setiap manusia, tidak terkecuali untuk keselamatan mobil yang masih menjadi mode transportasi favorit di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu faktor terjadinya kecelakaan adalah pencahayaan, faktor pencahayaan bisa berupa kurangnya pencahayaan sehingga pengemudi tidak bisa melihat dengan baik, begitu juga dengan cahaya kendaraan dari arah berlawanan yang juga mengganggu penglihatan pengemudi. Untuk itu perlu dibuat sistem pencahayaan yang bisa mengoptimalkan pandangan pengemudi dan tidak mengganggu pengendara lain. Sistem minimum dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol arah dan intensitas cahaya lampu kendaraan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi jalanan dengan memasang sensor posisi pada lingkar kemudi untuk dijadikan referensi arah cahaya lampu dan sensor cahaya yang mendeteksi keberadaan kendaraan lain dari arah berlawanan untuk mengontrol cahaya yang dihasilkan oleh lampu kendaraan. Kontrol arah lampu sesuai sudut kemudi hanya berfungsi saat kendaraan melaju pada kecepatan < 40 km/jam. Perancangan ini menghasilkan sistem pencahayaan yang berfungsi untuk menghindari blind spot saat kendaraan menikung dan mengontrol cahaya lampu saat ada kendaraan dari arah berlawanan sehingga pengemudi kendaraan tersebut tidak terganggu. Dari perancangan ini hasil penyimpangan sudut maksimum sebesar ±5%.

Abstract

Perilaku makan yang buruk terus meningkat dalam satu dekade terakhir. Perilaku makan tersebut bukan hanya berkaitan dengan jumlah seperti porsi dan frekuensi makan, namun terkait juga dengan alasan dalam memilih makanan, mengonsumsi makanan, bahkan alasan berhenti makan yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai hal yang dapat memberikan dampak buruk bagi kesehatan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan citra tubuh, tingkat kecemasan  dan pengetahuan gizi seimbang dengan perilaku makan pada siswa di SMKN 45 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel  stratified random sampling. Sampel yang terpilih sebanyak 50 Siswa kelas 10 dan 11. Pengambilan dan pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan uji Spearman rank (p < 0,05) . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan citra tubuh dengan perilaku makan (p = 0,000), tidak terdapat hubungan Tingkat kecemasan dengan perilaku makan (p = 0,185), dan Ada hubungan pengetahuan gizi seimbang dengan perilaku makan (p = 0,009). Kesimpulan yaitu terdapat hubungan antara  citra tubuh dan pengetahuan gizi seimbang dengan perilaku makan pada siswa di SMKN 45 Jakarta, sedangkan tingkat kecemasan dengan perilaku makan tidak terdapat hubungan.

Abstract

Inclusive education at Vocational High Schools that offer Inclusive Education (SMK-PPI) aims to provide equal access to learning for students with special needs (SBK). This community service program is designed to develop an innovative Deep Learning-based learning model to enhance inclusivity and the quality of education at SMK-PPI. The program begins with a needs identification phase, where observations and interviews are conducted at schools that accommodate SBK to understand existing challenges and identify gaps in the current teaching methods. Collaboration with the school and community stakeholders is essential to align the program's objectives and tailor the learning plan to meet specific needs. Intensive training for SMK-PPI teachers is the initial step in implementing the program, including the introduction of Deep Learning technology and the development of inclusive teaching strategies. The Deep Learning-based learning model is then implemented in classrooms involving SBK, focusing on personalized learning and using technology to meet individual students' needs. Data is continuously collected through observations, interviews, and surveys to evaluate the program's effectiveness. The evaluation results show that the model successfully increased student engagement, accessibility, and learning outcomes. Reflection and improvement are conducted based on feedback from all involved parties, ensuring that this learning model can be sustainably adopted by other schools. This program is expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening inclusive education at SMK-PPI and helping all students reach their full potential.

Abstract

This article is about satellite review which is essential for internet connectivity and also the development of IoT and other applications, this article contains history, performance, challenges, and research opportunities in the field of satellite development. Satellite development can be applied to improving the performance of various applications such as IoT, Education, and Medical, as well as real-time monitoring such as monitoring pets such as horses and cows in large numbers, as well as other essential applications such as the medical world. Satellite development is essential for applications in the world today and in the future. Satellite technology development is tailored to the needs, for example with the Mini Cube Satellite used for the development of LPWAN IoT technology orbiting in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

Abstract

Background: Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) require adequate and proper balanced nutrition to support their growth, development, and to prevent nutritional problems. One of the factors influencing nutritional problems is the lack of knowledge among caregivers. Nutrition education can be applied to improve the knowledge of caregivers of children with ASD about balanced nutrition. The use of educational media in the form of booklet and video are considered effective. However, the differences in effectiveness between the two media needs to be analyzed. Objectives: To determine the differences in the effectiveness of booklet and video media education on the balanced nutrition knowledge among caregivers of children with ASD in the Jabodetabek area. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre-test post-test design. The sample was caregivers of children with ASD in Jabodetabek area who met inclusion and exclusion criteria, totalling 60 people each in the control and experimental group. The sampling technique was cluster sampling with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis was conducted using Mann-Whitney test. Results: The Mann-Whitney test result showed that p-value 0.003 (p-value<0.05) indicating both booklet and video media were effective. The mean score in the video group was greater at 67.23, compared to the mean in the booklet group at 53.77. Conclusions: Nutritional education using video media is more effective in improving the balanced nutrition knowledge of caregivers of children with ASD compared to booklet.

Abstract

A tsunami is a large sea wave caused by an earthquake or underwater landslide. Timely detection of tsunamis is critical to saving lives and minimizing damage to infrastructure. Radar has proven to be an effective tool for tsunami detection. This comprehensive review discusses the use of radar for tsunami detection. The two types of radar discussed are HF (High Frequency) radar and DART (Deep ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis) radar. HF radar can detect tsunamis from long distances in real-time. However, HF radar is susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The DART radar is specifically designed for deep sea tsunami detection. This radar provides real-time information about tsunami waves. However, the DART radar requires expensive marine infrastructure to install and operate. This review concludes that HF radar and DART radar have their respective advantages and disadvantages. The combination of both types of radar can provide a more comprehensive solution for tsunami detection. Further research is needed to improve the reliability of radar-based tsunami detection systems.

Abstract

Background: Dyslipidemia is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The high prevalence of dyslipidemia is caused by the habitual consumption of foods contain saturated fats, such as beef. Therefore, meat analog made from plant-based ingredients is a potential alternative due to its high protein content and low fat content, especially regarding saturated fats. Objectives: To determine the effect of pumpkin seeds and straw mushroom combination with lesser yam as a binder on proximate and amino acid profile of meat analog. Methods: This study used a completely randomized design with three formulations based on the proportions of pumpkin seed flour and straw mushroom flour, such as F1 (75%:25%), F2 (50%:50%), and F3 (25%:75%). Each formulation is added with 25 g lesser yam puree. Proximate analysis was conducted to determine moisture, ash, protein, fat, and carbohydrate, with analysis of amino acid profile of meat analog. Statistical analysis of the data was conducted using ANOVA and Duncan’s Multiple Range (DMRT) test. Results: The three formulations of meat analogue had moisture 42.19-42.29%, ash 2.81-4.34%, protein 15.50-16.90%, fat 3.86-14.08%, carbohydrate 24.01-33.98%, and total amino acids 11.97-14.60%. The results showed that the three formulations of pumpkin seed flour and straw mushroom flour significantly affected ash content (p-value=0.020), fat content (p-value<0.001), carbohydrate content (p-value=0.004), as well as the amino acids threonine (p-value=0.019) and lysine (p-value=0.036). Conclusions: The combination of pumpkin seed flour, straw mushroom flour, and lesser yam as a binder had a significant effect on the proximate and amino acid profile of the meat analog.

Abstract

Background: Some mothers perceive that their breast milk production is insufficient, which hinders them from breastfeeding their infants. Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2022, only 52.2% of infants in Indonesia receive exclusive breastfeeding, below the target of 80%. Previous research shows that the consumption of food bars made from a combination of torbangun and katuk leaf flour can increase breast milk production, compared to consuming the leaves separately. Additionally, maternal nutritional status also plays a role. Mothers with good nutritional status tend to produce breast milk of better quantity and quality. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of food bars made from katuk and torbangun leaf flour in increasing breast milk production and the nutritional status of breastfeeding mothers in Limo Subdistrict, Depok.  Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pre- and post-test without control group design. This study was conducted for four days. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, followed by appropriate statistical tests (paired t-test if normally distributed or Wilcoxon test if non-normally distributed). The sample consisted of 15 participants selected through simple random sampling.  Results: The paired t-test results showed a p-value of <0.001, indicating a significant difference in breast milk production before and after the consumption of food bars made from katuk and torbangun leaf flour. However, the analysis of maternal nutritional status yielded a p-value of 0.317 (>0.05), indicating no significant difference in maternal nutritional status before and after the consumption of the food bars. Conclusions: The findings indicate that consuming food bars made from katuk and torbangun leaf flour effectively increases breast milk production. However, their consumption does not significantly affect the nutritional status of breastfeeding mothers.
