Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dan solusi dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan field research, serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menjalankan supervisi secara sistematis melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Supervisi dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali dalam satu tahun ajaran, mencakup supervisi administrasi dan kelas. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kepala sekolah memberikan umpan balik dan tindak lanjut yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas profesional guru. Meski hasilnya positif, peningkatan profesionalisme baru terlihat pada sebagian guru. Beberapa hambatan yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan kemampuan guru dalam teknologi, kurangnya metode mengajar yang efektif, serta minimnya fasilitas. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, kepala sekolah melakukan berbagai upaya seperti memberi umpan balik langsung, mengadakan pertemuan ilmiah internal, mengikutsertakan guru dalam workshop dan kelompok kerja guru (KKG) guna menunjang peningkatan profesionalisme secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research employed qualitative research with a case study approach. A case study is a series of scientific activities carried out intensively, in detail, and in-depth about a program, event, and activity, either at the individual level, or a group of people, institutions, or organizations to gain in- depth knowledge about the event. Likewise, this study explores the role of madrasah education in the perspective of the Muslim middle class in Gorontalo Town, the expectations of the Muslim middle class towards madrasah education in Gorontalo Town, and the contribution of the Muslim middle class to education. This research was conducted at three madrasas, namely at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Unggulan, MTs Negeri Gorontalo, and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo. In this study, the researcher is the main instrument in collecting data. In addition, this study also used interview guidelines, observation, and documentation as supporting tools. Next, data were analyzed using data analysis techniques developed by Miles & Huberman as data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result of this study showed that the role of madrasah education in the perspective of the Muslim middle-class community in Gorontalo Town is very positive to include their children in MIM Unggulan Gorontalo and MAN 1 Gorontalo with the perception of the two madrasas as ideal educational institutions in fostering and guide students in both intellectual and spiritual aspects. Likewise, the interest of the Muslim middle class in rural and urban areas is completely high. It is threatened by significant growth in the number of students in both madrasas. In addition, the two madrasas have shown achievement and quality as well as performance both academically and non-academically. The profile of the Muslim middle class of Gorontalo town in perceiving madrasah education has its own advantages like to access classical Islamic repertoire learning resources, such as; the history of Islamic culture, Arabic, Fiqhi/Usul Fiqhi, moral creed, and other factors provide strengthening values attached to the character of students as inherent elements integrated with their personality and behavior of students. All of the scientific treasures at the school provide a strengthening value attached to the character of students as inherent elements integrateding in their personality and behavior of students. The existence of a source of value intrinsic in the appreciation and practice of students in their daily lives is one of the crucial elements needed by the community. Last, Three aspects of desire and contribution of the Muslim middle class to Madrasah education in Gorontalo town, namely Moral, Scientific, and Future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) menganalisis hubungan antara kemampuan pengelolaan kelas dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo, 2) menganalisis hubungan antara etos kerja guru dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo, 3) menganalisis hubungan antara kemampuan pengelolaan kelas dan etos kerja guru dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling yaitu berjumlah 47 guru sebagai responden. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (kuesioner). Teknik analisis data yaitu menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji persyaratan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajemen kelas dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di SDN Kecamatan Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo, 2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara etos kerja guru dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di SDN Kecamatan Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo, 3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajemen kelas dan etos kerja guru dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di SDN Kecamatan Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo

Abstract

This study discusses implementing the Child Friendly School program based on ethnopedagogy concepts in Gorontalo Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through research at MTs Negeri 1 Telaga Biru, SMP Negeri 1 Limboto, and SMA Negeri 1 Telaga. The subjects of the study involved the entire school community directly involved in the program's implementation. Purposive sampling techniques are used to determine research subjects according to the objectives of this study. Data collection instruments consist of interviews, observations, and documentation. The study results show that Ethno pedagogy in the Child-Friendly School Program is integrated into various school activities, such as integrated activities, literacy and environmental management, that refer to Gorontalo's local values and culture. However, there are obstacles and challenges related to school-institution collaboration, school infrastructure renewal, program funding, cultural facilities, geographical location, and foreign cultural influences. This finding is expected to be a reference for other educational institutions in implementing the Child-Friendly School Program and as an evaluation for the three institutions studied to improve and improve the process of implementing this program.
