Abstract

Penurunan kinerja karyawan pada UD. Kabul Jaya menjadi isu utama yang perlu diatasi, terutama yang disebabkan oleh lemahnya motivasi kerja dan kedisiplinan karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausal digunakan dalam studi ini, sampel pada penelitian ini melibatkan 32 responden dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, koefisien determinasi, serta pengujian secara simultan dan parsial. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi nilai R square sebesar 32,3%, analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara parsial motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan secara parsial disiplin kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Human resources are an important element in the company, in order to develop company performance, of course, the company needs activities or programs that focus on improving the abilities of its employees. CV. Digphotowork is a business engaged in photography services managed by employees who are professionals in their fields. The purpose of this research is to find out competency-based human resource development at CV. Digphotowork and to find out changes in terms of employee performance after this competency-based human resource development. The research method carried out is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques by observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions or verification, and checking data validity. The results of this study indicate that this competency-based human resource development program is carried out by providing training on photography, videography, and editing. At the same time, managerial aspects are also developed so as to produce a more optimal quality of employee performance.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of digital transformation in human resource training at Depo Khing Guan Jember, a regional logistics center undergoing operational modernization. As organizations shift from traditional to technology-based systems, employee training becomes a strategic tool for ensuring adaptability and performance. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing interviews, field observations, and documentation to investigate how digital training is implemented and experienced within the depot. The study focuses on educational processes, systematic procedures, technical skill development, knowledge-based learning, and the prioritization of hands-on practice. Findings reveal that digital platforms, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and interactive simulations, are effectively used to enhance employee competencies and operational efficiency. The research highlights the importance of structured, practice-oriented training in supporting digital readiness among employees. Additionally, the study identifies organizational challenges and opportunities in aligning training programs with technological advancements. These insights contribute to a deeper understanding of digital transformation strategies within mid-sized logistics operations and offer practical implications for human resource development in similar contexts.
