Abstract

The article aims to analyze the meaning of perhadliran in the Sacrament of Holy Communion in the Protestant Church of Maluku. This study using qualitative methods with the techniques used are interviews and literature studies. In the study, data was obtained that the Protestant Church of Maluku did not have a clear historical background regarding the use term of the perhadliran. However, perhadliran was carried out by the Protestant Church of Maluku with the aim of preparing themselves before the Holy Communion was held. The Protestant Church of Maluku interpreted the perhadliran as a process of self-prepation, but some interpreted it as a means of confession, it is required to answer the four questions of the perhadliran. Based on the research data above, it is found that the perhadliran has three meanings, namely the meaning of self-preparation, the meaning of recognition, and the meaning of the agreement.  Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis makna perhadliran dalam sakra-men perjamuan kudus di Gereja Protestan Maluku (GPM). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik yang dipakai ialah wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Dalam penelitian, diperoleh data bahwa GPM tidak me-miliki latar belakang historis yang jelas terkait penggunaan istilah perhadliran. Namun, perhadliran dilakukan GPM dengan tujuan untuk persiapan diri sebe-lum Perjamuan Kudus dilaksanakan. GPM memaknai perhadliran sebagai proses persiapan diri, namun sebagian memaknai se-bagai sarana pengakuan dosa, karena di dalam ibadah perhadliran anggota jemaat diharuskan menjawab empat pertanyaan perhadliran. Berdasarkan data-data peneli-tian di atas maka ditemukan bahwa perhadliran memiliki tiga makna yaitu makna per-siapan diri, makna pengakuan dan makna perjanjian.

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to explore the ritual of cuci negeri in Soya, Maluku from an ecofeminist perspective. In the current of globalization, humans often make nature as an object so that various forms of oppression occur. However, in Soya's country, nature as a collective home understand nature as a collective home that is cared for through rituals the ritual of cuci negeri. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive type. This research uses interview techniques, documentary studies and literature studies. The results of the study found that the washing ritual of the land was a legacy given by the ancestors to make the people of Soya country aware that it came from nature. This awareness is not only affective but also includes the cleaning of the country which is carried out once a year with the aim of maintaining balance with nature and maintaining genealogical relationships with the ancestors. The ritual of cuci negeri also depicts nature as a woman who conceives and gives birth, gives life and protects against all life threats Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ritual cuci negeri di Soya, Maluku dalam perspektif ekofeminis. Dalam arus globalisasi, manusia seringkali menjadikan alam sebagai objek sehingga terjadi berbagai bentuk tindakan penindasan. Akan tetapi, dalam realitas masyarakat negeri Soya, mereka memahami alam sebagai rumah secara kolektif yang dirawat melalui ritual cuci negeri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan jenis deksriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, studi dokumenter dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ritual cuci negeri merupakan warisan yang diberikan oleh para leluhur untuk menyadarkan masyarakat negeri Soya yang berasal dari alam. Kesadaran ini tidak hanya sebatas afektif melainkan juga pada tindakan pembersihan negeri yang dilakukan sekali dalam setahun dengan tujuan untuk menjaga keseimbangan dengan alam dan merawat hubungan genealogis bersama para leluhur. Ritual cuci negeri juga menggambarkan alam sebagai sosok perempuan yang mengandung dan melahirkan, memberi kehidupan serta perlindungan terhadap segala ancaman kehidupan.

Abstract

Community Service Activities were carried out in Tewang Darayu Village, Pulau Malan District, Katingan Regency. This activity aims to be a form of strengthening religious moderation for the community in Tewang Darayu village. This strengthening can increase the awareness of the Tewang Darayu village community in building harmonious relations between religions. Apart from that, it can strengthen the spiritual aspect of religion among the community as a whole as part of efforts to maintain religious moderation which is born from the diverse realities of life in Tewang Darayu village. This activity uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method by emphasizing the strengths possessed by the Tewang Derayu village community. The impact obtained from this activity is that the Tewang Derayu village community experienced increased knowledge and were able to implement Religious Moderation indicators in socio-cultural dynamics based on a humanist attitude to life. Apart from that, Tewang Derayu village can also be a model model for surrounding villages in implementing the values of Religious Moderation. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk sebagai bentuk penguatan moderasi beragama bagi masyarakat di desa Tewang Darayu. Adapun penguatan ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat desa Tewang Darayu dalam membangun harmoni hubungan antar agama. Selain itu, dapat memperkuat dimensi aspek spiritual dalam beragama di antara masyarakat secara keseluruhan sebagai bagian dari upaya untuk menjaga moderasi beragama yang lahir dari realitas kehidupan yang beragam di desa Tewang Darayu. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan menekankan pada kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat desa Tewang Derayu. Dampak yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat desa Tewang Derayu mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan serta mampu mengimplementasikan indikator-indikator Moderasi Beragama dalam dinamika sosial budaya yang didasarkan pada sikap hidup humanis. Selain itu, desa Tewang Derayu juga dapat menjadi model percontohan bagi desa-desa sekitar dalam implementasi nilai-nilai dari Moderasi Beragama.Kata Kunci: moderasi beragama; penguatan; relasi agama

Abstract

In the context of diversity, the Dayak community engages in interfaith encounters based on the philosophy of Huma Betang. Referring to this, this paper analyzes the religiosity of the Dayak community in interfaith contexts based on the Huma Betang philosophy and constructs a model of interfaith dialogue rooted in local wisdom in Central Kalimantan. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and a descriptive-analytical type. The research findings reveal that the Huma Betang philosophy plays a significant role for the Dayak community. It serves as the foundation for social-religious practices that emphasize humanity and hospitality, which shape the religiosity of the Dayak people in Central Kalimantan. In this case, religiosity based on the Huma Betang philosophy fosters humanistic dialogue. The Dayak community practices this humanistic dialogue in both formal and non-formal spaces, grounded in values of humanity and harmony. Thus, the humanistic dialogue model based on Huma Betang plays a crucial role in maintaining interfaith harmony. Dalam konteks keberagaman, masyarakat Dayak melakukan perjumpaan lintas agama dengan didasarkan falsafah Huma Betang. Merujuk pada hal tersebut, tulisan ini menganalisis religiositas masyarakat Dayak lintas agama berbasis falsafah Huma Betang dan mengonstruksi model dialog antar agama berbasis kearifan lokal di Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan jenis deskriptif-analisis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa falsafah Huma Betang memiliki peran yang penting bagi masyarakat Dayak. Falsafah Huma Betang sebagai landasan praktik kehidupan sosial keagamaan yang menekankan pada aspek kemanusiaan dan hospitalitas. Hal inilah yang membentuk religiositas masyarakat Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Dalam hal ini, religiositas berbasis falsafah Huma Betang membentuk dialog humanistik. Masyarakat Dayak mempraktikkan dialog humanistik di ruang perjumpaan formal dan non-formal dengan berlandaskan pada nilai kemanusiaan dan keharmonisan. Dengan demikian, model dialog humanistik berbasis Huma Betang berperan penting dalam merawat kerukunan umat beragama.

Abstract

Palangka Raya is characterized by ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity. It shows that the Dayak people, as indigenous people, have lived alongside the immigrants. Huma Betang’s philosophy significantly affects society across religions and cultures. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Huma Betang philosophy in cross-religious and cultural community encounters in knitting national identity in Palangka Raya. This research uses a qualitative method with a sociology of religion approach. In this case, the data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of the research found that the existence of the Palangka Raya community in the socio-cultural and religious space is based on the Huma Betang philosophy and the motto Bumi Tambun Bungai Bumi Pancasila. These two things are not only implemented for fellow Dayak tribes but also for people with different backgrounds who are categorized as immigrants in Palangka Raya. It is strengthened by the community’s appreciation of humanitarian actions. In this way, the experience of living together in a space across religions and cultures becomes a national spirit based on humanitarian action.

Abstract

The diversity of ethnicities, religions, and cultures in Palangka Raya creates complex social dynamics, which have the potential to pose challenges to social integration and community cohesion. The study aimed to analyze how the huma betang philosophy is implemented in interactions between communities across religions and cultures, and its contribution to weaving national identity in a multicultural context. The study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. The study showed that the huma betang philosophy, along with the motto Bumi Tambun Bungai, Bumi Pancasila, is the basis of values ​​in building inclusive social relations between the Dayak community and immigrant groups. The values ​​of huma betang are not only carried out in the internal Dayak community but are also experienced as an ethic of living together that emphasizes solidarity, tolerance, and humanity across identities. The particular study contributes to a theoretical understanding of the role of local values ​​in strengthening social cohesion and national identity in a pluralistic society.
