Abstract

Kelapa sawit  sebagai tanaman yang diusahakan  masyarakat dii Kecamatann Kuantann Hilirr Seberangg, Kabupatenn Kuantann Singingii, menghadapi masalah serangan hama. Sebagian besar pohon kelapa sawitt terserang oleh hama kumbang badak (Oryctes rhinoceros Linn). Dampak serangan hama menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas kelapa sawitt sangat drastis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan petani. Materi ceramah bertujuan untuk memberi bekal kepada masyarakat tentang perlindungan tanaman kelapa sawit terhadap hama kumbang khususnya kumbang badak. Metode diskusi dilakukan dengan transfer ilmu shareing pengalaman dilapangan serta pengendalian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta sudah mengetahui nama dari hama kumbang yang menyerang tanaman kelapa sawit. Peserta dapat memdedakan jenis-jenis kumbang yang berpotensi menjadi hama dan pengendalian hama kumbang badak. akan efektif apabila dilakukan oleh setiap petani kelapa dan dilaksanakan secara terus menerus sampai populasi hama dibawah ambang ekonomi.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of microbial populations on the quality of the cocoa beans produced. This research used unfermented cocoa beans and was then referenced by adding inoculum. Three fermentation techniques were applied in this research. First, control (A0), without the addition of inoculum. Second, S. cerevisiae inoculum (FNCC 3056), L. lactis (FNC 0086), and A. aceti (FNCC 0016), each around 108 cfu / g is given simultaneously at the beginning of fermentation (A1). Third, the gradual administration of S. cerevisiae inoculum (FNCC 3056) at the beginning of fermentation, L. lactis (FNC 0086) at 24 hours, and A. aceti (FNCC 0016) at 48 hours with the same microbial population as the second treatment (A3). Fermentation was carried out for five days. The results showed that after being rehydrated as much as 50% weight of the produced dried material, the cocoa beans' composition could be used as a fermentation substrate. The highest population of S. cerevisiae, L. lactis, and A. aceti from three treatments was observed at 24, 48, and 72 hours of fermentation. Keywords: cocoa beans quality, inoculum, re-fermentation, unfermented ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh populasi mikroba terhadap kualitas biji kakao yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan biji kakao yang tidak difermentasi dan kemudian direferensikan dengan penambahan inokulum. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut fermentasi biji kakao dengan 3 variasi teknik fermentasi yaitu perlakuan pertama (A0) tanpa penambahan inokulum (kontrol), kedua (A1) menggunakan inokulum S. cerevisiae (FNCC 3056), L. lactis (FNC 0086) dan A. aceti (FNCC 0016), masing-masing sekitar 108 cfu/g diberikan secara bersamaan pada awal fermentasi, ketiga (A2) pemberian bertahap inokulum S. cerevisiae (FNCC 3056) pada awal fermentasi, L. lactis (FNC 0086) pada 24 jam dan A. aceti (FNCC 0016) pada 48 jam dengan populasi mikroba sama dengan perlakuan kedua. Fermentasi dilakukan selama 5 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah direhidrasi sebanyak 50% dari berat bahan yang dihasilkan komposisi biji kakao dapat digunakan sebagai substrat fermentasi. Populasi S. cerevisiae, L. lactis dan A. aceti tertinggi dari tiga perlakuan pada 24, 48 dan 72 jam fermentasi. Kata kunci: inokulum, kualitas, re-fermentasi, tanpa fermentasi

Abstract

Abstract This research is entitled TESTING THE EFFECTIVENESS of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) FROM YELLOW BAMBOO ROOTS (Bambusa sp.) FOR THE GROWTH AND PRODUCTION OF PEANUT PLANTS (Arachis hypogaea var) ON PEAT MEDIA. The aim of this research was to determine the growth and production of peanut plants with different doses of PGPR. This research was conducted from August to November 2023 with a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). Namely the PGPR dose consisting of 0 ml/L (P0), 10 ml/L (P1), 20 ml/L (P2), 30 ml/L (P3), 40 ml/L (P). The parameters observed were the increase in plant height, average flowering age, number of pods per plant, and weight of 100 grains. The results showed that the best treatment was a PGPR concentration of 40 ml/L which had a significant to very significant effect on the parameters of plant height increase, average flowering age, wet weight of pods per plant, and weight of 100 seeds. Penelitian ini berjudul UJI EFEKTIVITAS Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) DARI AKAR BAMBU KUNING (Bambusa sp.) UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogaea var) PADA MEDIA GAMBUT. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah dengan perbedaan dosis PGPR. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai November 2023 dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) nonfaktorial. Yaitu dosis PGPR yang terdiri dari 0 ml/L (P0), 10ml/L (P1), 20 ml/L (P2), 30 ml/L (P3), 40 ml/L (P). Parameter yang diamati adalah pertambahan tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga rata-rata, jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot 100 butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah konsentrasi PGPR 40 ml/L yang memberikan pengaruh nyata sampai sangat nyata pada parameter pertambahan tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga rata-rata, berat basah polong per tanaman dan bobot 100 biji

Abstract

When compared to other varieties of legumes, soybean (Glycine max) L. has the highest vegetable protein content. This study was conducted in Tempuling Village, Tempuling District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, with the goal of determining how POC Coconut Bunches affected soybean plant growth and production. between August and October 2021. POC Coconut Bunches (TK) are given using a Non-Factorial Randomized Group Design (RBD) with seven treatment factors: K3 (30 ml/l), TK4 (40 ml/l), TK5 (50 ml/l), and TK6 (60 ml/l) comprise the control group. As a result, seven treatment combinations with three replications were created, giving rise to 21 experimental units/plots with a total of 63 plants in each plot. The findings demonstrated that the POC Coconut Bunches (TK) treatment had a significant impact on the plant height of 119.89 centimeters, pod weight of 109.00 grams, dry seed weight of 62.14 grams, and 100 seed weight of 24.50 grams, with the best treatment being TK5 (50 milliliters per liter). Abstract

Penelitian “Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Batang Pisang (POC) terhadap Pertumbuhandan Produksi Tanaman Cabe Rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) di tanah gambut” ini dilakukan pada bulan, Januari sampai dengan bulan April 2022, di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Indragiri, Kecamatan Tempuling, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Propinsi Riau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis pupuk organik cair batang pisang yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit ditanah gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non factorial diulang sebanyak 6 kali dengan dosis perlakuan A0 = Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol), A1 = 100 ml/Tanaman, A2 = 200 ml/Tanaman, A3 = 300 ml/Tanaman, A4 = 400 ml/Tanaman, A5 = 500 ml/Tanaman, data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan analisis sidik ragam dan jika berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey HSD pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh poc batang pisang terhadap pertumbuhan cabai rawit di tanah gambut tidak berpengaruh nyata pada semua parameter pengamatan tinggi tanaman, umur muncul bunga pertama, umur panen pertama, jumlah buah pertanaman, dan produksi tanaman perpolybag. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk organik cair batang pisang di tanah gambut tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan.

Abstract

One of the most important plantation crops for Indonesia is oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq), which functions as a staple export item and source of income for Indonesian plantations. In pre-nursery, you need to pay attention to the fertilizer applied, one of which is in liquid form. because liquid fertilizer is more easily absorbed by plants so that plant growth is more optimal. Liquid fertilizer can come from organic materials such as livestock manure, tofu waste, liquid plant waste. The main cause of decreased plant productivity is decreased soil fertility due to excessive and continuous application of inorganic fertilizers. Therefore, we need a way to maintain and improve soil fertility, one way that can be done is by providing organic fertilizer to the soil such as POC from coconut bunches. This research was conducted to determine the POC concentration of coconut bunches on the growth of oil palm in pre-nursery on peat media. The method used in this research is a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), the results of the analysis will be followed by the Tukey test (HSD) with a level of 5%. The research results showed that there was a real influence on all parameters such as plant height, stem base diameter, number of leaves, wet root weight, plant crown weight. From this research, it was concluded that the POC treatment of coconut bunches in peat media had a real effect on all observation parameters, namely plant height, stem base diameter, number of leaves, wet root weight, plant crown weight with the best dose found in the coconut bunch POC treatment of 80 ml/l of water

Abstract

Effect of Liquid Coconut Bunch Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Production of Shallots on Peat Soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the best concentration of liquid coconut organic fertilizer on the growth and production of shallots. This study was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Indragiri Islamic University. This study used a Randomized Block Design with five treatments and three replications. The treatment of liquid organic fertilizer concentration consisted of five levels, namely; P1 = 20 ml / l, P2 = 30 ml / l water, P3 = 40 ml / l water, P4 = 50 ml / l water, and P5 = 60 ml / l water. The parameters observed included plant height, number of tubers, fresh weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers. The results showed that the administration of liquid organic fertilizer affected the growth and yield of shallots. Treatment with a concentration of 60 ml / l water produced the highest average production with plant height (41.00 cm), number of tubers (9 tubers), fresh weight of tubers (33.33 grams), and dry weight of tubers (16.66 grams). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk organik kelapa cair yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Indragiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair terdiri dari lima taraf, yaitu; P1 = 20 ml/l, P2 = 30 ml/l air, P3 = 40 ml/l air, P4 = 50 ml/l air, dan P5 = 60 ml/l air. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah umbi, berat segar umbi, berat kering umbi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 60 ml/l air menghasilkan produksi rata-rata tertinggi dengan tinggi tanaman (41,00 cm), jumlah umbi (9 umbi), berat segar umbi (33,33 gram), dan berat kering umbi (16,66 gram). Abstract

AbstrakIkan betutu Oxyeleotris marmorata merupakan ikan lokal potensial menjadi komoditas budidaya. Performa pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup dapat ditingkatkan dengan mengembangkan wadah budidaya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui jenis wadah budidaya yang optimal dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup. Perlakuan yang di uji adalah kolam tanah, kolam hapa dan kolam terpal berukuran 3 m x 2 m x 1 m. Ukuran benih yang digunakan 15±1,39 cm dengan bobot 250,04±1,70 g dengan padat tebar 25 ekor/kolam. Selama 120 hari masa pemeliharaan, pakan yang diberikan adalah ikan rucah sebanyak 30% dari bobot tubuh dengan frekwensi 2x sehari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan jenis wadah berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan bobot dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup. Pertambahan bobot terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan jenis wadah kolam tanah sebesar 53,86±1,10 g dengan laju pertumbuhan spesifik 0,45±0,010 %bobot tubuh/hari dan kelangsungan hidup 85,33±6,11%. Kualitas air pada seluruh wadah pemeliharaan masih mendukung pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan informasi dasar dalam pemilihan wadah budidaya yang efektif dan efisien dalam pengembangan budidaya ikan betutu secara optimal.Kata kunci: ikan betutu; pertumbuhan; kelangsungan hidup; wadahAbstractSand goby (Oxyeleotris marmorata. Blkr) is a potential fish species for aquaculture in Indonesia. However, the growth and survival rate performance can be improved by developing cultivation containers. The research objective was to determine the optimal type of cultivation container to produce high growth and survival rate. The ponds treatments used in this experiment were soil pond, hapa pond and tarpaulin pond with measuring 3 m x 2 m x 1 m. The initial fish length average was 15±1.39 cm, with the initial body weight average of 250.04±1.70 g with the stocking density of 25 individual/pond. During 120 days of the rearing period, the fish were fed with trash fish with a proportion of 30% of body weight with the frequency of feeding 2x a day. The results showed differences in the type of container significantly affected weight gain and specific growth rates but did not significantly affect survival rate. The best weight gain was found in the treatment of soil pond containers at 53.86 ± 1.10 g with a specific growth rate of 0.45 ± 0.010% body weight/day and survival rate of 85.33 ± 6.11%. Water quality in all containers still supports growth and survival rate. The results of this study can be used as necessary information in the selection of effective and efficient aquaculture containers to produce optimal sand goby culture.Keywords: sand goby; growth; survival rate; container

Abstract

The implementation of community service activities in Simpang Tiga Daratan Enok Tembilahan Village is motivated by the community's livelihood in the agricultural and plantation sectors with plantation products in the form of Coconuts and Areca Nuts, however, community income in Simpang Tiga Enok Inhil Village is still low due to a lack of innovation in processing plantation products. Coconuts are sold raw to collectors without processing them first so the selling price is low. Therefore, assistance and training is needed for the community in Simpang Tiga Daratan Enok Village to process plantation products. For this reason, this community service activity provided socialization and training on making coconut skullcaps to the people of Simpang Tiga Daratan Enok Inhil Village. There are several programs that will be implemented related to the problems that have been described, namely providing socialization on the use of coconuts to make coconut shells on a national scale, namely coconut shells, providing training on processing coconuts into innovative products and mentoring coconut shell businesses. The response of community leaders and residents to the realization of this training was very positive.
