Metode: Desain quasi experimen dan rancangan non equivalent control group design with pretest and post test.

Abstract

Breast milk is a mixture of fat within a solution of protein, lactose, and inorganic salts produced by the mother's mammary glands post-delivery as nourishment for the baby. According to the scientific perspective, exclusive breastfeeding helps prevent infant mortality, decrease the incidence of illness, boost immunity, lower allergy risks, promote growth and development, enhance cognitive skills, and offer emotional bonding. Breastfeeding is regularly ruined by different issues experienced by the mother, such as deficient breast drain generation, breast boil, mastitis, breast engorgement, areola issues, and blocked drain channels. The Effect of Oke Tani Massage on Increasing Breast Milk Production in Postpartum Women in the Tanjung Uncang Community Health Center. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental Research with a Pretest post-test nonequivalent Control Group Design, namely by comparing breast milk production in 12 postpartum mothers in the experimental group and 12 postpartum mothers in the control group. In the experimental group, oke tani massage treatment will be given. The results of the independent sample T-test statistical test show a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05 means that there is an influence of Oke Tani Massage on increasing breast milk in postpartum mothers in the Tanjung Uncang Community Health Center working area, Batam City. The recommendations from this study offer a safe and effective option for boosting breast milk supply in postpartum mothers and can be explored by anyone.

Abstract

Failure in the breastfeeding process often causes problems, a problem that often occurs in breastfeeding mothers is the mother's lack of knowledge about correct breastfeeding techniques, which results in sores on the nipples, where the baby does not suck on the nipple up to the areola of the breast. The incidence of sore nipples based on the 2022 Indonesian Demographic Health Survey was 79.3 people. This research aims to determine the relationship between breastfeeding techniques and the incidence of sore nipples in postpartum mothers at PMB Arni Yunita, Batam City in 2024. This type of research uses a quantitative research design with a cross sectional research design. The population and sample used in this research were 47 postpartum mothers taken using the accidental sampling technique. The results of statistical tests using the chi square test showed that the p-value (0.000) was no more than α (0.05), so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means that there is a relationship between breastfeeding technique and the incidence of sore nipples in PMB Arni Yunita, Batam City. 2024. It is hoped that the public will be able to increase their knowledge and insight, including postpartum mothers, regarding the relationship between breastfeeding techniques and the incidence of sore nipples in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

The annual maternal mortality rate (MMR) fluctuates and one of the causes is preeclampsia with 33.3% of the incidence of preeclampsia and maternal mortality. Placental growth factor (PlGF) has a major role in the development of preeclampsia. Objective: Analyzing the Effect of Phoenix Dactylifera on Changes in Levels of Placental Growth Factor (PlGF) as a predictor of preeclampsia in pregnant women. Method: This research uses a hybrid method, which combines two research methods (Quasy Experiment and Prospective Khohort) with a pre-post test control design. A total of 40 respondents (30 respondents in the ajwa date group and 10 respondents in the group recommended to eat fruits and vegetables) the sample size was determined using the Yamane formula with simple random sampling technique. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The Wilcoxon test on changes in PLGF levels based on the pre-post test intervention group produced the Asymp value. Sig 0.000 <0.05 (Mean: 0.591-3.856) and the control group pre-post test resulted in Asymp values. Sig 0.073> 0.05 (Mean: 1.040-0.701). Conclusion: The changes that occurred in the intervention group were due to a significant decrease in blood pressure which affected PLGF levels in blood plasma after giving phoenix dactylifera fruit for 8 weeks and given 7 eggs / day (100 grams). Phoenix dactylifera can inhibit the development of PlGF in blood plasma thus preventing the occurrence of preeclampsia in pregnant women who are hypertensive.

Mengetahui Pengaruh Perawatan Tali Pusat Menggunakan Topikal ASI Terhadap Waktu Pelepasan Tali Pusat Di Wilayah Kerja UPT. Puskesmas Sekupang Kota Batam.
