Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of ethnomathematics of engklek games in grade III students at SDN Sangiang III and describe the ethnomathematic learning of engklek games on the learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN Sangiang III. This research uses qualitative research methods with a type of case study approach intended to accurately explain a phenomenon or characteristic of a particular individual, situation or group that occurs. The subjects in this study were grade III students of SDN Sangiang III with a total of one class of 58 students and took a sample of 30 students. The data collection technique uses observation with two sources, namely teachers and students, interviews with two speakers, namely teachers and students, and using document studies. The results of this study used ethnomathematics methods with engklek games which were considered effective for developing mathematics learning outcomes using engklek games.

Abstract

In digital era, seesaw application becomes alternative platform used to connect and learn. It also contains updated contents as sources of speaking practices. The research was to investigate the significant effect of Seesaw Application on students’ speaking skills in the eleventh grade at SMK Kesehatan Kaltara. The method of study was quasi-experimental. The sample of this research was the eleventh-class nursing A as the experimental class and the eleventh-class nursing B as the control class selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was classified as pre-test and post-test and used the Independent Sample T-test to analyze the data. This research showed a significant difference between students taught using the seesaw class application and those taught using conventional methods in teaching speaking. As a result, the hypothesis test determined that the significant factor was smaller than 0.05, and the resulting t-test (2.367) was more effective than the t-table (2.045). This study implied the optimalization of application to support the students’ Speaking learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis TikTok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas 4 SD dalam materi keragaman budaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran keragaman budaya yang dianggap abstrak dan kurang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan PjBL, dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Rangkasbitung Barat selama dua minggu dengan melibatkan 125 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran dalam PjBL meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 32,87% dengan nilai sebelum pembelajaran sebesar 58,04 dan kemudian setelah penerapan sebesar 77,12. Siswa menunjukkan minat yang tinggi dalam penggunaan teknologi dan peningkatan keterlibatan aktif dalam proses belajar. Disarankan untuk terus mengembangkan konten pembelajaran kreatif di TikTok guna meningkatkan minat siswa.
