Abstract

The title of research: Effectiveness of Agricultural Counselling Programs and Counselling Performance in Gunungkidul that held on February to December 2013. The purpose of this study was to: identify the realization of the planned counselling activity in agricultural counselling program, identify counselling activity that held by instructor (instructor performance), identify competencies of instructor and supporting factors of counselling activity, identify Effectiveness Of Agricultural counselling Programs, identify the influence of competences counselling and supporting factors the effectiveness of agricultural counselling program, identify the influences of the competences instructor and supporting factors counselling with instructor performance, identify impact of instructor performance and Effectiveness Of Agricultural counselling Programs. By using descriptive analysis obtained information: realization of counselling program average of 5.251 or lower category, the effectiveness of agricultural counselling program average of .436 or in medium category, instructor performance about 34, 211 or in a low category, the competence of instructor was at 54.923 or in medium category, and the supporting factors of counselling is about 176.269 or in the low category. There is influence of the competence instructor and the effectiveness of agricultural counselling program on the level of credibility(α) of 0.05 with significance 0.015, and there is influence between supporting factor and the effectiveness of agricultural counselling programs at the level of credibility (α) of 0.05 with significance 0.012. There isn't influences between instructor competence and the supporting factors of counselling with instructor performance in level of credibility (α) 0.05 with significance at 0.294 in instructor competence and 0.344 in supporting factors of counselling. Instructor performance was not affecting the effectiveness agriculture counselling program in level of credibility (α) 0.05 with significance 0.486.

Abstract

This study aimed to: 1) determine the level of personality farmers, farmers' level of ability in dealing with others, the level of skill set, the ability of farmers in marketing, the ability of farmers about the money, 2) to determine the profile of entrepreneurship acumen as an entrepreneur farmers, 3) to find ways to develop entrepreneurial farmers. By using a descriptive analysis of the information obtained entrepreneurial personality farmer level reached 248.8 or at the level of 69%, the level of ability to relate to others in the entrepreneurial reached 252.275 or at the level of 70.2%, the level of entrepreneurial skill set to reach a value of 226 or at rate of 62.7%, in terms of marketing reached 217 or at the level of 60.3%, in terms of money reached 198.2 or at the level of 55.05%. Assessment of all aspects of entrepreneurship described that farmers entrepreneurial acumen and farmers entrepreneurial ingenuity in the research area reached a level of 63.45%. Intelligence farmers were also described with advantages in terms of: 1) responsible for the work, 2) discipline on completion of the work and 3) excelence in communicating with others, and there is a weakness in terms of: 1) leadership, 2) marketing and 3) money.

Abstract

This study aimed at revealing the graduates working as Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs), graduate performance condition, and the correlation between the performance and Cummulative Achievement Index (CAI). This study was descriptive in nature involving the graduates as objects, and the respondents i.e. the graduate leaders, the graduate partnerships, and farmer group leaders. The data collected by questioner and documentation methods, and analyzed by descriptive technique and Kendalls Tau Correlation Test. The result of studies are as follows, (1) 50% of all the graduates worked as AEWs, (2) the graduates job performance falls into the successful category, especially the action aspect is in the mostly successful category, (3) the graduates attitude is in the best category, especially the enthusiasm aspect is in the good category, (4) there is significant correlation between the graduates job performance and Cummulative Achievement Index (CAI), and (5) ) there is no significant correlation between the graduates attitude performance and Cummulative Achievement Index (CAI). This implies that there is a need of evaluation and development of the curriculum, and partnership between STPP and stakeholders so that the curriculum is relevant and applicable to the graduates job descriptions as AEWs.

Abstract

The goals of this experiment are to know the specific factors that influence the precision of Karawitan as communication technology of Compact Disease Control, and to know the precision of this way in spreading Compact Disease Control that looked from the age and farmers education. The data can be got by using experiment technique done at 30 respondents that take by disarranged concept after the show is over, by using questioner. The specific factors that hoped can be found by respondents identify, this is a special indicate in Compact Disease Control power, whereas the precision of using this way illustrated from differences of respondents expression from two categories, the age and the education. The conclusion of this experiment is not to find special respondent condition that indicate the specification in response power of Compact Disease Control matter. Karawitan art is effective to be used as spreading way for Compact Disease Control Technology because all respondents know Karawitan art culture, too love and enjoy the special art power, all respondents can understand the message sense that given, not see the age and the education.
