Abstract

The creation of class schedules requires a high level of precision and focus to generate the best possible timetable. A schedule with the best solution can provide comfort for both faculty and students, thus enhancing the quality of early meetings during classes. However, in the engineering faculty of Muhammadiyah University Cirebon, classes often do not start simultaneously with other faculties due to the manual scheduling process. Addressing this issue, a system is needed to automate the creation of class schedules. By implementing the Constraint Satisfaction Problems method to impose constraints before evaluating the fitness values in the Genetic Algorithm, it can assist in searching for the best solutions in accordance with the scheduling requirements of each program in the Engineering faculty. The results of black box testing on the system, item code 06, demonstrate that the system can produce schedules that comply with the requirements of each program in the faculty.

Abstract

Health is the most valuable thing for humans, one example is that humans often forget about their heart health. The heart is one of the organs of the body that is very vital and has a very important role for humans. Basically, heart disease is often called a “silent killer”, based on World Health Organization (WHO) data that heart disease is the number one cause of death in the world. Therefore, a system is needed to help prevent heart disease and provide the right diagnosis and solution. This study aims to design a web-based expert system for diagnosing symptoms of heart disease in humans using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Certainty Factor (CF) methods. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method determines the weight of the expert, while the Certainty Factor method calculates the diagnosis of user disease symptoms. The final results of the system show that the system is able to diagnose heart disease through the symptoms selected by the user. The system can also provide descriptions and appropriate handling solutions for diseases experienced by users.       Kata kunci: Sistem Pakar, Penyakit Jantung, Analytical Hierarchy Process, Certainty Factor

Abstract

Abstract

Course scheduling at the beginning of each semester is an absolute must, considering changes in course instructors, changes in the availability of lecture schedules, changes in lecture infrastructure in terms of number, capacity, and time of use, changes in the number of lecture participants, both new and repeat participants. This research aims to design an optimal scheduling system by considering scheduling constraints to avoid conflicts and increase the effectiveness of lecture scheduling management. The linear regression method is used to predict the number of lecture participants using the 2019-2022 academic year data as model data and the 2023 academic year data as testing data to validate the prediction data. Lecture scheduling uses a Genetic Algorithm with a fitness function for the number of cross-class schedules - contracted by repeating students - that conflict with the chromosomes used by courses, classes, lecturers, rooms, schedules, and others. The designed scheduling system has a prediction model with high accuracy and a coefficient of determination (R-Sq.) above 95% and RMSE below 10. This scheduling system is efficient, minimizing scheduling conflicts to 0 percent

Abstract

Technological developments have become a necessity for job optimization, be it desktop, web or mobile-based software, of course this really supports work with fast, timely completion, without spending a lot of effort and money. The Help Desk is a facilitator for the process of solving operational problems, through communication and interaction networks, internal and external, between the source of the problem (the client) and the potential / problem solving analysis capacity (experts) so that the Asset Management process becomes more effective in improving unit performance. Its operational implementation refers to the principles in the concept of Knowledge Management. Extreme programming is a method that lightens the burden or speeds up the software development process, the characteristics of this method are in accordance with this study which has a small number of team members. This method is flexible so that it can adapt to the changes that customers want. With this the user becomes easier for system development

Abstract

University X is a private university which has 8 faculties, namely Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Fikes, Law, Islam and Vocational Studies. One of the leading study programs at the University X is the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering which is currently experiencing problems when the process of dividing space and hour schedules is still manual. The problems that arise include the accumulation of lecture hours for a lecturer who takes more than one course. Another problem is the disruption of the lecture process at the beginning of the semester due to the tentative scheduling system. The preparation of lecture schedules at the Faculty of Engineering, University X is still done semi-manually using Microsoft Excel, so it will take several days to make a schedule. Meanwhile, making a schedule must be done quickly and optimally because it is used for lecture activities, the solution that can overcome the above problems is by creating a Course Scheduling Information System Using Genetic Algorithms. The genetic algorithm is one of the most appropriate algorithms used in solving complex optimization problems, which are difficult to do with conventional methods. The nature of genetic algorithms is looking for possibilities from potential solutions to get the optimal for solving problems. The scope of all viable solutions, i.e. the objects between matching solutions, is called the search space. Each point in the search space represents a viable solution. The limitations of the built problem are: This system is operated by the administrative staff of the study program at the Faculty of Engineering, University X. This system is made using the Codeigniter framework, Responsive Bootstrapping (display) and MySQL as the database and the method used by this system is the genetic algorithm method. The final result of this research is that it is helpful and easy to apply as a tool in helping the optimization process of lecture scheduling in order to minimize schedule collisions in lectures at the Faculty of Engineering, University X

Abstract

Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon must take part in Student Work Lectures (KKM) as a form of their service to the community. One of the tasks of KKM group 23 in Tegalwangi village is to create a podcast that incorporates the Ngobras (Informal conversation) program about the tourist village. Chatting, talking, or talking casually is the definition of "ngobras". The theme of Ngobras was "A thriving tourist village in the era of industrial revolution 4.0", and the resource person was Mr. H. Nana Mulyana, head of the Cirebon Regency Disbudparpora. The purpose of the KKM "Ngobras" activity is to gather information about what needs to be prepared, considered, and developed by Tegalwangi village as a tourism village.  The research location is Tegalwangi Village, Weru Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency, and descriptive methods are used. The results of this Ngobras KKM activity provide some input for Tegal Wangi Village to develop a tourist village, hoping that there will be follow-up by the village government.
