Abstract

Students' interest in a field is usually seen from the grades resulting from students' learning in the classroom. This is a common thing for parents and teachers to do. In the research conducted by researchers this time is in the field of design studied by students in the classroom in one semester, namely the subjects Photoshop and CorelDraw. The grades taken are grades that include the value of theory, practical grades, assignments, and quiz assignments obtained by students in the classroom. The four grades will be calculated until they get a provision on whether or not the student graduates in the subject. These values will be studied by researchers using the Naïve Bayes method, so that it can be known how much can be said to pass in this design lesson. Researchers conducted research using Rapid Miner program, where the data will be divided into 2 parts, namely by using some existing data as learning samples and the rest as test data. The results obtained from the experiment were 146 students graduated in the field of design, and 119 students failed. This suggests the experiment using the Naïve Bayes method was successful if the experiment data was entered a lot

Abstract

Since 1993, PP Prima Jaya Lestari is a business engaged in convection and garment, especially batik and men's shirts. Currently, PP Prima Jaya Lestari has used a computerized system to record and manage business transaction data. However, the system is unable to provide information on the influence of millennial clothing trends on to increasing convection sales at the company. To solve the problem in PP Prima Jaya Lestari, the method that being used is Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method. In the working procedure, the stationarity of the data in the mean can be done by identifying the data plot and the ACF data form. If ACF shows a slowdown pattern means the data is not stationary in the mean, so it requires differencing so that the data becomes stationary in the mean. Conversely, if the ACF shows a rapidly descending pattern, the data is statistical in the mean Based on the results of the tests conducted in this study obtained information that by using the MAE method to calculate the difference in clothing sales between the real value and the predicted result value, information was obtained that the type of plain shirts and men's tile motif shirts have a greater MAE value when compared to the type of men's batik shirts and men's lyrical motif shirts, which means that the error rate of predictions against plain shirt types and men's tile motif shirts is much greater. This is because the type of men's batik shirts and men's lyrical shirts have a sales turnover that tends to be more stable. Meanwhile, the type of plain shirts and men's tile motif shirts have a more volatile sales turnover.

Abstract

Despite the urgency of vaccination against COVID-19 worldwide, each country has different levels of vaccination rate which lead to different success rates. While several past studies have shown what factors affect a country’s vaccination rating from past epidemics, there are no correlation studies done on factors to COVID vaccination rates, with several media and institutes forming theories, with New York Times stating it’s GDP per Capita, and National Health Institute postulating literacy and other various factors, while none those two showing correlation studies of the factors as the proof. With values ranging from -1 to 1, results showed among six factors ranging from 0.51 to 0.64 for four factors showing that of six factors listed in this study, meaning they are moderately strongly related with the vaccination rate, with one having a value of 0.14, meaning it’s weakly related, another with value of -0.58, indicating strongly unrelated with vaccination rate.

Abstract

Online pharmacies are a promising business model for promoting online sales of medicines. The purpose of this study is to investigate how technology acceptance model (TAM) variables (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness), perceived trust, perceived performance risk, and perceived physical risk influence customers' intention to use online pharmacy. A questionnaire survey was used to collect data for the planned study. The results showed that perception of trust is a critical factor influencing costomers intention to use an online pharmacy. The reluctance of customers to buy medicines, categorized as risk, through online pharmacies which was originally thought to be a determining factor, has no impact if customer trust in online pharmacy has been formed. This study has several relevances for advancing online pharmacy promotion including the importances of user-friendly and benefits provided by online pharmacies provider. It is very important how online pharmacies providers can increase customers trust in terms of legality, quality and security of personal data.

Abstract

Neurological complications occur in almost 60% of patients with advanced CKD and affect the nervous system at all levels, both central and peripheral. Peripheral neuropathy in CKD is usually asymptomatic until renal function is below 15%, and glomerular filtration is less than 10-12 ml/min. This study seeks to identify and characterize peripheral neuropathy in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study with the research sample comprising chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at Dr. Mohommad Hoesin Palembang Hospital. The distribution of research subjects based on the Neuropathy Symptom Score (NSS) revealed that 65.7% fell into the mild neuropathy category, based on an NSS of 3-4. According to the electrophysiology results, 82.9% of patients exhibited peripheral neuropathy, while 17.1% showed normal NCS results. Sensory motor neuropathy accounted for 51.4%, including 71.5% with axonal neuropathy, 11.4% with axonal-demyelinating lesions, and no demyelinating lesions. The high prevalence of peripheral neuropathy in CKD patients identified through electrophysiological examination (ENMG) emphasizes the importance of nerve conduction examination as a diagnostic tool for peripheral neuropathy in CKD patients. This can aid in determining the progression of peripheral neuropathy in CKD patients, allowing for appropriate management and prevention of disability complications to enhance the quality of life for these individuals.

Abstract

Human nature is something that has been debated for centuries. There are various views on human nature, ranging from spiritual views to material views. In this journal, the author will discuss human nature from two perspectives, namely well-being and equality. Well-being is a state characterized by happiness, satisfaction and health. Equality is a state characterized by equal rights and opportunities for all people. Both of these are important for humans, as they can contribute significantly to the quality of human life. Well-being can be achieved through various means, such as fulfilment of basic needs, development of personal potential, and positive social relationships. Equality can be achieved through various means, such as fair public policies, quality education, and open employment opportunities. The author argues that well-being and equality are interrelated. Equally achieved well-being will create a fairer and more equal society. Conversely, equality that is achieved will create a more well-being society

Abstract

The increasing use of social media as a platform for expressing public opinion has established platform X (formerly Twitter) an important data source for sentiment analysis. However, the ever-growing volume of data and the lack of sentiment labels present significant challenges for manual analysis, which is inefficient and time-consuming. This research addresses the problem of selecting effective algorithms for accurate and efficient sentiment classification on large-scale unlabeled data. The study aims to compare the performance of the Naïve Bayes Classifier and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithms in sentiment classification related to the Value Added Tax (VAT) increase on platform X. To support classification accuracy, sentiment labeling is performed automatically using the VADER Lexicon. The research methodology involves data scraping, automatic sentiment labeling, implementation and training of classification models, and performance evaluation using a Confusion Matrix and ROC curve. The results show that the KNN algorithm with k = 1 achieved the best performance with an accuracy of 93.19%, precision of 94.07%, recall of 92.96%, a misclassification error of 6.81%, and an AUC of 0.95. In contrast, the Naïve Bayes Classifier achieved an accuracy of 88.29%, precision of 87.43%, recall of 86.67%, misclassification error of 11.71%, and an AUC of 0.93. Therefore, KNN is proven to be superior in classifying sentiment more accurately and efficiently than the Naïve Bayes Classifier.
