Abstract

Abstract Learning mathematics in three-dimensional material often experiences difficulties, one of the factors causing this is the low level of student independence in learning. One of the alternatives provided to solve this problem is by determining innovative learning strategies. One of the innovative learning methods that will be used as an alternative to overcome this problem is the SAVI learning model based on discovery strategies, which is defined as a teaching technique that involves all students' senses in searching for and discovering a mathematical concept. This learning activity focuses students on the process of discovering a mathematical concept. The aim of this research is to analyze the results of the process that has an impact on the formation of students' independent character in learning three-dimensional mathematics material using the SAVI model approach based on discovery strategy. The research subjects were taken from 6 students who had different abilities (heterogeneous), namely by grouping the upper (high ability), middle (medium group), and lower (lower group). Data collection techniques are obtained by observation, interviews, documentation. The instruments used were observation sheets and interview guidelines, documentation. Meanwhile, data processing techniques use gain and triangulation tests. The results of observations of independence in this study showed that the average increase in the character of independence from meetings I to V in the selected subjects was 78.40, meaning an increase in the formation of good criteria. Keywords: Independence, SAVI Learning Model, Discovery Strategy Abstrak Pembelajaran matematika materi dimensi tiga sering mengalami kesulitan, salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah karena rendahnya kemandirian siswa dalam belajar. Abstract

Learning about the concept and structure of a mathematical material and looking for relationships between them is real math learning. In many math learning materials, students often struggle to understand the concept of the material. The mathematical skills need to be stimulus and encouraged when learning. To practice such skills need innovations such as using motion graphics learning media. The purpose of this research is to know the student's response to the use of motion graphic media, to find out how much the mathematical skills of students after using motion graphic learning media, to know how much influence The media use of motion graphic learning to the students mathematical skills, to determine the effectiveness of the use of motion graphic learning media to the students mathematical skills. This method of research is experimental research with data collection techniques using poll and observation for variable X and test for variable Y. Population for this research is all students of grade IX SMP IT Umar Al Khattab Gunung Jati Kabupaten Cirebon, while the sample Taken by the cluster method of random sampling with the elected class IX B SMP IT Umar Al Khattab Gunung Jati Kabupaten Cirebon. Based on the results of the data processing, the student response questionnaire was obtained against the use of media in motion graphic media learning with an average of 85.23% with very strong criteria. Based on the hypothesis test result obtained tcount > ttable = 9,895 > 2.063, then H0 rejected or Ha is acceptable, the use of Motion graphics Learning Media is effective against the mathematical understanding of grade IX students SMP IT Umar Al Khattab. It is also supported through an N-Gain value of 65.40 as well as an indicator of the learning effectiveness of a KKM pass of 91.66% classifying, student response 85.23%, student activity of 77,,33%, as well as the ability of the teacher to manage the class that got the value 3.34.

Abstract

This study presents the design and evaluation of marker-based augmented reality instructional media using Unity and Vuforia to support polyhedra learning in junior high school geometry. The development followed the 4D model and was grounded in a five-phase learning trajectory consisting of exploration, manipulation, analysis, application, and reflection. The AR media features interactive 3D polyhedron models, net unfolding animation, and formula overlays, each activated through printed markers. The design was informed by students’ learning needs, particularly difficulties in visualizing shapes, distinguishing surface area from volume, and applying geometric formulas correctly. Expert validation using Aiken’s V confirmed strong instructional alignment. Student perception data, classroom observations, and teacher interviews indicated that the media enhanced spatial reasoning, improved engagement, and encouraged verbal mathematical discourse. The findings support the integration of AR into structured pedagogical sequences and demonstrate its potential to improve geometry instruction in diverse classroom settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical literacy skills in relation to their learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) and their school learning environment. A mixed-methods approach was employed, using mathematical literacy tests, student response analysis, and in-depth interviews. The results show that visual learners excel in numerical representation and written communication but struggle with formal symbolism without visual support. Auditory learners understand procedures well through verbal explanations but have difficulty constructing arguments and alternative strategies. Kinesthetic learners perform well on contextual problems through practical activities but are weak in visual representation and formal reasoning. A non-varied and unresponsive learning environment hampers the development of mathematical literacy. These findings emphasize that a mismatch between learning styles and instructional approaches negatively affects literacy achievement, particularly in reasoning, argumentation, and representation. Therefore, fostering a learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles is essential for enhancing students’ overall mathematical literacy.

Abstract

The increasing urgency to address climate change has positioned Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) as a priority for governments and businesses worldwide. Technological innovations such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Blockchain have emerged as transformative tools for reducing environmental impacts, improving energy efficiency, and promoting ethical and sustainable business practices. However, the extent to which these technologies contribute to climate action remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the role of AI, IoT, and Blockchain in helping businesses achieve SDG 13 by optimizing resources, reducing waste, and enhancing supply chain transparency. A mixed-methods approach was adopted, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with key stakeholders from businesses implementing these technologies, while a survey of 150 businesses was administered to capture broader adoption patterns. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings reveal that AI and IoT have significant positive effects on energy management and sustainability outcomes, while Blockchain plays a supportive role by improving transparency and ethical practices, though its adoption remains limited. The combined integration of these technologies yields the most substantial impact. This study concludes that businesses should adopt a holistic strategy to fully leverage technological innovations for advancing SDG 13 and combating climate change.
