Abstract

This study aims to determine the implications of mathematical tests developed through PowerPoint Visual Basic for Application (VBA) in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Powerpoint Visual Basic for Application (VBA) is an interactive learning media that is used in learning and is able to display interesting learning and is used to design daily practice questions or evaluation of learning. This study uses the R & D method with data collection techniques used are interviews, validation, and tests. Interviews aim to analyze problems in schools, validation needs to be done for product feasibility tests based on expert teams, while the test aims to determine the product implications that have been developed on mathematical problem-solving abilities. Products are developed based on school needs using Visual Basic for Application (VBA). The results of this study obtained a probability value smaller than t-count (0.050 <2.011) in other words there were significant differences in the mean values between the experimental class and the control class so that PowerPoint tests based on Visual Basic for Application (VBA) had implications for improving ability solving student math problems

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder with a complex brain disorder that causes sufferers not to be able to distinguish between reality and imagination. This study aims to determine the parameters for the best model Box-Jenkins time series analysis in predicting the number of schizophrenic in Cirebon City in 2018 as seen from the smallest MSE (Mean Square Error) value. This study uses Box Jenkins method (often referred to as the ARIMA Method) with documentation collection techniques and literature studies. The documentation aims to collect data on the number of schizophrenic patients in January 2014 to December 2018. Data were analyzed in several stages, namely the stage of data stationary identification, determining model parameter estimates, model verification and forecasting. The results of this study show that the best model for predicting the number of schizophrenic patients in the future is ARIMA (0,1,1). The forecasting results of the number of schizophrenic patients in Cirebon City from January to December 2018 respectively are 69 people, 68 people, 68 people, 68 people, 68 people, 68 people, 67 people, 67 people, 67 people, 67 people, 67 people, 67 people.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the most important factors in influencing learning and learning outcomes for students at the kindergarten, elementary and junior high school levels.  However, in learning activities, it turns out that there are still students who are less active in participating in learning during the lesson.  Students or students still look lazy to learn.  Students also do not show their expressions that are happy and not enthusiastic in following ongoing learning.  Their attention is more focused on something that is opposite them than their learning tasks such as playing games in class and others. Learning motivation has a positive relationship with the learning outcomes of a subject. Thus, learning motivation contributes greatly to the achievement of student learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers must have the ability: (First) encourage learning motivation, (Second) directing learning motivation to achieve goals in achieving the learning outcomes of a subject, and (Third) strengthen learning motivation in order to ensure the consistency of students learning actions.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu para anak-anak sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan menyenangkan sehingga bisa meningkatkan minat belajar anak untuk terus mendalami pembelajaran seperti bahasa inggris, bahasa arab, serta mengaji al-quran. Selain itu pengabdian ini juga memberikan motivasi kepada anak untuk belajar menabung sejak dini. Supaya nanti besar tidak menjadi sosok yang konsumtif. Pendampingan pembelajaran ini diharapkan dapat meningkatnya minat belajar dan motivasi para anak-anak di Desa Kemlakagede. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu : a. Melaksanakan Kegiatan secara Langsung. b. Menggunakan pendekatan secara persuasif pada anak dan masyarakat. c. Pembelajaran secara langsung setiap hari fokus di satu tempat (masjid/mushola). d. Serta menerapkan metode reward tiap akhir pekan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar anak. Setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan dilakukan analisis dan evaluasi, terlihat bahwa anak- anak mengalami peningkatan dalam pemahaman nya terkait bahasa inggris, bahasa arab, mengaji al-quran. Motivasi mereka untuk menabung juga meningkat, Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon yang baik dari para anak-anak desa Kemlakagede dan diharapkan bisa terus berlanjut.

Abstract

One of the mathematics learning successes is that students are able to complete mathematical problem solving. Existing conditions that students are still unable to complete mathematical problem solving. Learning models combined with learning media are expected to enable students to solve mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the material of ruang sisi datar (kubus) with the help of Lectora Inspire media on students' geometry problem solving abilities. Lectora inspire is an e-learning content development tool that is easy to use as an online learning. This research was carried out in SMPN 1 Cilimus, Kabupaten Kuningan. The research method used is quantitative method while the research design used is Posttest-only Control group design. The study population was all student class VIII and the sample used was class VIII4 as an experimental class and class VIII2 as a control class. Based on the acquisition of research data obtained the average mathematics posttest of the experimental class students was 72.75 and the posttest control class was 47.47. Student responses to the application of problem based learning learning models with an average score of 78.13, the average student response to the Lectora Inspire media was 78.7. Based on the data analysis test, it is known that tcount <ttable or 1.570 < 2.024 so it can be concluded that there is no influence of the use of Lectora Inspire media on students' geometry problem solving ability on the subject of the cube

Abstract

In studying mathematics, students are often only provided with makeshift media, such as printed books. Providing such monotonous media can result in students being less interested in learning mathematics and having an impact on the acquisition of unsatisfactory student learning outcomes. In an increasingly advanced digital era, the use of interactive media assisted by wizer.me can be an effective solution to overcome these problems and improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The purpose of this research is to find out the differences in student learning outcomes using media wizer.me and conventional media, namely printed books in mathematics. In addition, to determine the effect of using wizer.me as an independent learning medium in terms of student learning outcomes in mathematics. The type of research used is quasi-experimental in the form of nonequivalent control group design with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Kartika XIX-3 Vocational School, Cirebon City, which consisted of 2 classes, namely X pharmacy as the experimental class and X nursing as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used test techniques and the instrument used was an objective test to measure student learning outcomes in aspects of cognitive ability. After the objective test data is collected, the processing is carried out by means of statistical analysis. The results showed that: (1) Based on the results of the independent t test, a significance value of 0.007 <0.05 was obtained. So it can be stated that there are differences in student learning outcomes using media wizer.me and conventional media in mathematics. (2) Based on the results of the calculation of the type d effect size, the value of d is 0.90 > 0.80 and is included in the large category. Thus, the use of wizer.me as a self-learning medium has a major positive influence on student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

Teeth are the first part of the body to process food digestion. Good dental condition is very important for overall health, including general physical condition, the ability to chew and speak, as well as one's appearance and social relationships with others. The purpose of this research is so that students can increase their knowledge and awareness about the importance of dental health and can avoid dental caries and how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. The method used is counseling and socialization regarding how to brush teeth properly and the practice of brushing teeth directly to students in grades 4-6 SDN 1 Kemlakagede. The results of this study are that this work program can increase understanding of the importance of dental health. In addition, children also know more about how to care for and brush their teeth properly and correctly.

Abstract

This study analyzes student behavior in using ICT when using LMS at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This study used quantitative methods with a survey research design. The type of survey used is a cross-sectional survey design. Samples were taken from Mathematics Education students in semesters I, III, V and VII, as many as 258 from 627 active students in 2021/2022 using the stratified random sampling method. The instrument was developed following the aspects and indicators in the TAM model, containing (1) perceived ease of use, (2) perceived usefulness, (3) attitude towards using, (4) behavioral intention to use, and (5) actual usage. The instrument will be tested for validity using CVR and reliability using the Guttman Split-Half Coefficient correlation. Data on student behavior using ICT were analyzed using Widoyoko categorization. The study results showed that the instrument was confirmed to be valid and reliable, with students' behavior in using ICT categorized as "good." The findings suggest that students are generally well-prepared to engage with ICT tools for online learning, reflecting their adaptability and positive attitudes toward technology adoption. However, to maximize the potential benefits of ICT in education, the study highlights the need for institutions to implement targeted strategies. These include providing more comprehensive ICT training programs, upgrading and maintaining digital infrastructure, and creating policies encouraging consistent and meaningful use of ICT in learning activities.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas implementasi perpustakaan keliling di Desa Cipeujeuh Kulon sebagai upaya mendukung Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN) di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Desa ini memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap fasilitas literasi, yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca dan kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan minat baca dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perpustakaan keliling efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan literasi dan kreativitas siswa di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Learning about the concept and structure of a mathematical material and looking for relationships between them is real math learning. In many math learning materials, students often struggle to understand the concept of the material. The mathematical skills need to be stimulus and encouraged when learning. To practice such skills need innovations such as using motion graphics learning media. The purpose of this research is to know the student's response to the use of motion graphic media, to find out how much the mathematical skills of students after using motion graphic learning media, to know how much influence The media use of motion graphic learning to the students mathematical skills, to determine the effectiveness of the use of motion graphic learning media to the students mathematical skills. This method of research is experimental research with data collection techniques using poll and observation for variable X and test for variable Y. Population for this research is all students of grade IX SMP IT Umar Al Khattab Gunung Jati Kabupaten Cirebon, while the sample Taken by the cluster method of random sampling with the elected class IX B SMP IT Umar Al Khattab Gunung Jati Kabupaten Cirebon. Based on the results of the data processing, the student response questionnaire was obtained against the use of media in motion graphic media learning with an average of 85.23% with very strong criteria. Based on the hypothesis test result obtained tcount > ttable = 9,895 > 2.063, then H0 rejected or Ha is acceptable, the use of Motion graphics Learning Media is effective against the mathematical understanding of grade IX students SMP IT Umar Al Khattab. It is also supported through an N-Gain value of 65.40 as well as an indicator of the learning effectiveness of a KKM pass of 91.66% classifying, student response 85.23%, student activity of 77,,33%, as well as the ability of the teacher to manage the class that got the value 3.34.
