Abstract

The Islamic education had a strategic of role in modern society life. It?s goal was to make the people (students) in order to be a good personality and a good character. The quintessence that the Islamic education at school have to develop of students? cognitive, affective and psycomotoric aspects.  By implementating of the government's needed society and stakeholders have to have a good political will. The ideal hope of the Islamic education (national) in order to the education output of strong and responsibility of young generation. The reality that there are still the education output are still not quality yet in order to have many education outcomes are still jobless. The Islamic education assignment must be educated with integrated and holistics and long life education processing. The islamic education was to fulfill the students needs, both spiritual intelectual, moral, aesthetics and physical needs based on the Islamic values. The function of Islamic education was to prepare the facilities who develop possible of the students as sistymatic, aimed and comprehensive. While, the Islamic education target was the students who grow and develop as dynamic, becoming from unborn child to end their life.

Abstract

Kerukunan umat beragama adalah pilar utama bagi masyarakat yang multikultural dan multireligius, terutama di kota besar seperti DKI Jakarta. Dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan zaman, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menggali resiliensi kerukunan umat beragama melalui penerapan dialog interaktif dengan tokoh agama. Pemilihan tokoh agama dilakukan secara cermat, memastikan representasi yang merata dari berbagai agama yang ada di DKI Jakarta. Proses dialog interaktif dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian pertemuan, lokakarya, dan kegiatan kolaboratif lainnya. Penting untuk menekankan bahwa dialog ini bukan hanya sekadar forum untuk berbicara, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembangunan pemahaman bersama. Tokoh agama diundang untuk menyampaikan pandangan mereka, merespon pertanyaan, dan bersama-sama merumuskan solusi terhadap berbagai permasalahan yang mungkin timbul. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan Participatory Active Research (PAR) yang digunakan untuk melibatkan semua pihak terkait secara aktif dalam proses pengabdian ini. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa dengan intensnya dilakukan dialog diantara para tokoh agama mampu memberikan kontribusi positif yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi kerukunan umat beragama. Partisipasi tokoh agama dalam proses ini mendorong terbentuknya saling pengertian dan toleransi antarumat beragama. Keterlibatan tokoh agama juga meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap institusi keagamaan, menciptakan landasan yang kuat untuk kerja sama lintas agama.Religious harmony is the main pillar for a multicultural and multireligious society, especially in big cities like DKI Jakarta. In facing various challenges of the times, this service aims to explore the resilience of religious harmony through the application of interactive dialogue with religious leaders. The selection of religious figures is carried out carefully, ensuring equal representation of various religions in DKI Jakarta. The interactive dialogue process is carried out through a series of meetings, workshops, and other collaborative activities. It is important to emphasize that this dialogue is not only a forum for conversation, but also as a means of building mutual understanding. Religious leaders are invited to express their views, respond to questions, and jointly formulate solutions to problems that may arise. The Community Service Method is carried out with Participatory Active Research (PAR) which is used to actively involve all related parties in this service process. The results of the service show that intense dialogue among religious leaders is able to make a significant positive contribution to the resilience of religious harmony. The participation of religious leaders in this process encourages the formation of mutual understanding and tolerance between religious communities. The involvement of religious leaders also increases public trust in religious institutions, creating a strong foundation for interfaith cooperation.

Abstract

Moderasi Beragama yang dicetuskan oleh Kementrian Agama diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi terhadap tantangan keberagaman. Namun, moderasi beragama memiliki titik berat pada penempatan agama yang tentu didalamnya ada tokoh lintas agama sebagai agent. Sementara itu, tokoh agama yang sejatinya kerap menyentuh dinamika masyarakat atau istilah yang kami gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ummat kerap hanya dijadikan perpanjangan tangan dalam meneruskan kebijakan terkait moderasi beragama. Peran para tokoh agama atau dalam tulisan ini digunakan istilah tokoh lintas agama menjadi penting untuk dapat digunakan pemikirannya yang berkaitan dengan moderasi Beragama. Maka, penelitian ini mencoba mengeksplorasi analisis terkait dengan pemahaman para tokoh lintas agama tentang moderasi Beragama. Menggunakan Metode analisis fenomenologi, penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menguak sisi lain moderasi Beragama melalui pandangan tokoh lintas agama yang dianalisa. Metode ini berfokus pada pemahaman mendalam tentang makna subjektif yang diberikan oleh individu terhadap fenomena yang mereka alami Penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam Terhadap pimpinan majelis keagamaan seperti MUI, PGI, KAJ, PHDI, WALUBI dan MATAKIN. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa moderasi Beragama dalam hal pemahaman perlu untuk diteruskan kepada masyarakat sebagai materi dakwah yang harus terus menerus disampaikan. Temuan berikutnya menyebut bahwa diatas pemahaman, moderasi Beragama juga perlu dilaksanakan dengan sikap toleran diantara ummat yang dimaknai sebagai sikap pembiaran terhadap ummat lain untuk melakukan ritual keagamannya masing-masing. Temuan ketiga dalam penelitian ini yaitu yang berikaitan dengan pemberian fasilitas keagamaan utamanya bagi pemeluk agama serta kepercayaan minoritas di Jakarta. Pemberian fasilitas yang dimaksud dikhususkan kepada komunitas atau kelompok keagamaan yang dirasa memiliki kesulitan dalam hal fasilitas beribadah ditempatnya masing-masing.

Abstract

The transformation of civic engagement education in Indonesia's democratic system post-COVID-19 is of particular concern, given the significant changes in mindsets, behaviors, and societal demands. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the experiences and perceptions of young people involved in youth organizations regarding the changes occurring in civic engagement education post-COVID-19. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Subjects included academics, students, government officials, community activists or NGOs, and the general public involved in or affected by civic engagement education. Data collection techniques included interviews, participant observation, and other supporting instruments. Data analysis was conducted inductively. Interview transcripts and observation results were analyzed in depth to identify emerging themes and patterns. The results of this study indicate that although civic engagement education in youth organizations has been quite successful in informing students about the importance of political participation, feelings of skepticism and apathy towards politics continue to hinder youth from actively participating. This poses a challenge for future civic engagement education, which must create a stronger connection between the knowledge taught and the social and political realities faced by young people. Furthermore, there is a need to further integrate civic engagement education into young people's daily experiences, not just the theory learned in classes or seminars. Civic engagement education has undergone a transformation post-COVID-19, yet many young people feel disconnected from Indonesia's democratic process.

Abstract

This study investigates the educational and political da'wah thought of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), emphasizing the intertwined values of citizenship and pluralism within the Indonesian Islamic context. As a renowned Muslim intellectual, former President, and social reformer, Gus Dur envisioned Islam as a moral force that upholds democracy, respects human rights, and nurtures interfaith harmony. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach, this research draws upon an extensive literature review and content analysis of Gus Dur’s writings, speeches, and public interventions. The study reveals that Gus Dur’s da'wah was not limited to ritualistic preaching but extended into socio-political advocacy rooted in inclusive education. His concept of “civic Islam” sought to transcend ethnic, religious, and ideological boundaries, emphasizing universal values such as justice, tolerance, and human dignity. He actively challenged sectarianism and authoritarianism, positioning Islam as compatible with democratic governance and civil society. Furthermore, Gus Dur’s political da'wah prioritized the protection of minority rights and the preservation of national unity, framing diversity as a divine gift rather than a threat. These insights contribute significantly to contemporary discourses on Islamic education, da'wah strategies, and the role of religion in multicultural societies. The study concludes that Gus Dur’s legacy offers a transformative model for integrating religious, civic, and pluralist values in the Muslim world.
