Abstract

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) merupakan mikroskop electron dengan perbesaran tinggi yang mencitrakan permukaan material. Sedangkan Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX) adalah salah satu teknik untuk menentukan komposisi atom pada material, dasar dari analisis EDX adalah pelacakan dan pengukuran dari sifat-sifat sinar-X yang dibangkitkan oleh electron-elektron cepat. Sintesis magnetit nanopartikel terlapisi asam humat (Fe3O4–HA) dilakukan menggunakan metode kopresipitasi dengan perbandingan Fe2+ dan Fe3+ sebesar 1:2 mol. Uji karakterisasi pada material Fe3O4–HA dengan menggunakan SEM-EDX memberikan informasi bahwa terjadi pelapisan sempurna pada Fe3O4 oleh HA. Pada foto SEM Fe3O4-HA menunjukkan morfologi yang tidak teratur, yang menunjukkan telah terjadi interaksi ikatan antara Fe3O4 dan HA yang telah terkonfirmasi dengan data EDX dan mapping. Pada analisis EDX menunjukkan bukti bahwa terjadi penurunan jumlah Fe dari 23,54% (% atom) pada Fe3O4 sebelum pelapisan menjadi 7,86% (% atom) setelah pelapisan oleh HA, sedangkan unsur Karbon (C) dari HA memiliki jumlah persentase lebih besar dibandingkan dengan Fe dari Fe3O4, yaitu sebesar 37,62% (% atom). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Fe3O4 telah berhasil terlapisi oleh HA, dan komposisi unsur terbanyak pada Fe3O4-HA ini adalah oksigen (O) yang merupakan sumbangan unsur O dari Fe3O4 dan HA yaitu sebesar 45,66% (% atom).

Abstract

Sintesis magnetit terlapis asam humat (Fe3O4–HA) telah dilakukan untuk adsorpsi dari dua jenis zat warna, yaitu metilen biru (MB) dan metil orange (MO). Penelitian ini diawali dengan ekstraksi asam humat (HA) yang diperoleh dari hasil isolasi tanah gambut Rawa Pening, Ambarawa, Jawa Tengah dan dilanjutkan dengan sintesis Fe3O4–HA menggunakan metode kopresipitasi dengan agen pengendap NH4OH pada campuran garam FeSO4•7H2O, FeCl3•6H2O dan HA hasil ekstraksi. Fe3O4–HA hasil sintesis kemudian dikarakterisasi dengan spektroskopi FTIR dan difraktogram XRD. Proses adsorpsi dilakukan pada waktu keseimbangan optimum MB dan MO dengan menggunakan kinetika adsorpsi orde satu semu, orde dua semu, dan kinetika Santosa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi MB dan MO oleh Fe3O4–HA mengikuti model kinetika adsorpsi orde dua semu dengan nilai konstanta keseimbangan adsorpsi (k) secara berurutan adalah 107304,348 L mol-1 untuk MB, dan 80361,011 L mol-1 untuk MO. Data adsorpsi ini diperoleh pada kondisi pH optimum pada MB dan MO secara berurutan pada pH 7 dan 2, serta tercapai waktu keseimbangan untuk MB dan MO secara berurutan pada 30 dan 15 menit.

Abstract

Magnetite, chemically represented as Fe3O4, is an opaque substance characterized by its black coloration. It possesses a significant saturation magnetization value, denoting a substantial magnetic strength compared to alternative materials. Magnetite (Fe3O4) has significant use across several domains, including its deployment as a catalyst and sensor in the medical sector, such as drug delivery, hyperthermia therapy, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The synthesis of magnetite (Fe3O4) can be achieved using several methodologies, such as solvothermal, sol-gel, solid state, reverse micelle, microwave plasma synthesis, freeze drying, ultrasound irradiation, hydrothermal, and coprecipitation techniques. The co-preparation technique is extensively employed for magnetite synthesis due to its simplicity, ease of usage, and ability to generate magnetic particles at the nanoscale scale without elevated temperatures. The outcome of the coprecipitation process is influenced by various factors such as the nature of the salt, molar ratio, pH level, stirring rate, and reaction temperature. This article aims to examine the impact of many factors, including the salt type, molar ratio, pH level, stirring rate, and reaction temperature, on the production of Magnetite (Fe3O4) through coprecipitation. It was found that Magnetite (Fe3O4) synthesis can produce nanoparticle size material with great magnetic power, namely at pH 8, temperature 70°C, and stirring rate of 10,000 rpm by using FeCl3 and FeCl2 as precursors Fe3+ and Fe2+ with a ratio of 1.5:1 and using precipitating base NH4OH.

Abstract

Humic acid compounds are organic materials distributed across various terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, playing a crucial role in environmental pollutant absorption. This study aims to isolate and characterize humic acid from organic waste as an adsorbent for rhodamine B. The isolation process of humic acid was conducted using the extraction method with 0.5 N NaOH solution followed by acidification using 3 M HCl solution. Characterization was carried out using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometer. The UV-Vis characterization results showed that the maximum wavelength of humic acid is 286 nm. FTIR analysis of humic acid indicates the presence of functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxylate, and aromatic groups, consistent with the typical characteristics of humic acid. The adsorption kinetics was determined by interacting rhodamine B with humic acid after determining the optimal pH of 4, optimal time of 30 minutes, and optimal concentration of 20 ppm. The research results indicate that the adsorption kinetics of rhodamine B on humic acid follows pseudo-second-order kinetics with a reaction rate of 0.0566 min?¹ and follows the Freundlich adsorption isotherm.

Abstract

The village head is a government official who has the authority and duties to organize the village household and regional government. The problem that arises in the local wisdom of religious communities is that some people in Sekaran village do not yet have awareness of the importance of harmony. The aim of this research is to determine (1) social capital in managing religious diversity and 2) the role of village heads in managing religious diversity. The method used in this research is a type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the research show that (1) social capital in managing the diversity of religious communities, namely in order to build a harmonious and harmonious living atmosphere among people of the same religion, between religious communities and religious communities and the government, it is appropriate to use references from the theory of social capital (social capital) based on local wisdom values and (2) the role of the village head in managing religious diversity, namely the role of the village head to the community as a protector, protector and guarantor of the rights and obligations in carrying out worship in accordance with the beliefs of its citizens. It is important to discuss the role of the village head in managing religious diversity and it is hoped that the community can contribute to village activities and strive to preserve local wisdom values.

Abstract

Tugas Pengawas Sekolah sebagai supervisor tidak hanya terbatas pada membina guru agar bisa mendidik dan mengajar dengan baik, tetapi juga berupaya meningkatkan pribadi guru, memberi dorongan kepada guru agar mengembangkan profesinya, membantu guru dalam menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi saat ini serta tugas dan fungsi lain yang sesuai dengan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh seorang Pengawas Sekolah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tugas dan fungsi Pengawas Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SMP N 3 Mojoagung Kabupaten Jombang. Melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dapat diketahui Pengawas Sekolah melakukan tugas supervisi dengan mengidentifikasikan kebutuhan peningkatan kompetensi guru sebagai bahan In-Service. Hasil dari identifikasi tersebut, Pengawas Sekolah melakukan In house training atau workshop kepada guru mengenai perangkat pembelajaran, pedoman penilaian dan bimbingan sesuai dengan kebijakan kurikulum yang berlaku sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru.

Abstract

This study investigates the synthesis and evaluation of CuO-doped TiO2 nanocomposites for photocatalytic deactivation of Escherichia coli in the water catchment systems. Nanocomposites with varying CuO concentrations (0.25, 0.50, and 0.85% w/w) doped into TiO2 were prepared via the co-precipitation method and characterized by FTIR, SEM-EDS, and UV-vis DRS. The incorporation of CuO into TiO2 resulted in a progressive reduction of band gap energy, with the 0.85% CuO-TiO2 sample exhibiting the lowest value. Photocatalytic testing demonstrated that the 0.85% CuO-TiO2 nanocomposite achieved a 99.23% reduction of E. coli, surpassing the performance of undoped TiO2. The enhanced activity is attributed to improved visible light absorption and more efficient charge separation due to the synergistic effect between CuO and TiO2. These results indicate that optimizing CuO doping in TiO2 nanocomposites can significantly enhance photocatalytic disinfection, offering a promising solution for water treatment applications.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of managerial leadership by school principals in the empowerment of educational staff at SMP Negeri 4 Jombang. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive method, the research collected data through observations, interviews, and documentation to provide an in-depth understanding of the practices and strategies implemented by the principal. The findings reveal that the principal plays a crucial role in enhancing the competence and motivation of educational staff. Through structured training, participative approaches, and effective communication, the principal has successfully created a supportive and productive work environment. Analysis based on competency theory, Herzberg's motivation theory, transformational leadership theory, and classical management theory by Fayol demonstrates that a holistic and systematic approach to management and empowerment can improve educational quality and overall school performance. This study provides valuable insights for school principals and education managers on effective strategies for empowering educational staff and achieving higher educational goals.

Abstract

Dampak korupsi tidak sekedar menimbulkan kerugian keuangan negara yang mencapai angka triliun rupiah, tetapi juga menghacurkan sumber daya terkait kemanusiaan, sosial, dan alam. Bahkan korupsi dapat merusak sistem demokratis, mendelegitimasi terwujudnya supremasi hukum, dan mendegradasi pembangunan berkelanjutan. Dalam menumbuhkan karakter antikorupsi, perlu ditananamkan nilai-nilai antikorupsi sejak dini kepada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru PPKn dalam membudayakan sikap antikorupsi kepada peserta didik di MTs Darussalam Ngesong Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitian ini  menggunakan pendektan kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mendapatkan jawaban dari fokus penelitian dengan tahap reduksi data, menyajikan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, madrasah memiliki peran dalam menyediakan kegiatan dan program yang diintegrasikan dengan pembudayaan nilai anti korupsi dan guru memiliki peran sebagai demonstrator serta innovator bagi peserta didik dalam pembudayaan nilai anti korupsi
