Abstract

Motivasi berprestasi merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam memajukan peradaban bangsa. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi adalah dukungan sosial baik dari keluarga, sekolah, kawan sebaya, dan juga lingkungan hidup. Seabagaimana remaja pada umumnya, dukungan sosial juga sangat diperlukan bagi remaja dari keluarga menengah kebawah agar tetap memiliki motivasi berprestasi. Di Kabupaten Kudus, jumlah penduduk miskin pada tahun 2013 pernah mengalami peningkatan jumlah yaitu 70.100 jiwa. Adapun metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari angket dukungan sosial dan motivasi berprestasi. Analisis data dengan korelasi digunakan untuk mengukur korelasi antara variabel dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial berkorelasi positif signifikan dengan motivasi berprestasi pada remaja dari keluarga menengah kebawah di Kabupaten Kudus. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan besarnya nilai korelasi (R) yaitu sebesar 0.222 dan diperoleh koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0.049, yang mengandung pengertian bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (dukungan sosial) terhadap variabel terikat (motivasi berprestasi) adalah sebesar 49%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang lain.

Abstract

Religiosity is an important aspect in shaping student morale, especially for Islamic Education (IE) students who are future educators. The purpose of the study was to look for the influence of religiosity on the morale of Islamic Religious Education students at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. This research is a quantitative study with the population of IE students from 2019 to 2021 amounting to 699 students. The technique of taking sample uses the Slovin formula, namely as many as 90 students who were taken randomly (random sampling). The primary data collection tool used is a 4-scale Likert scale  questionnaire.  The instruments were tested using validity tests as well as reliability tests. The instruments were also tested for classical assumptions with normality and reliability tests. The primary data were then analyzed by simple linear regression statistical techniques.  The results showed that the level of religiosity of IE students was in the high category, it was proven that from 90 respondents, there were 81 respondents (90%) showing a high and very high level of religiosity, while the remaining 9 respondents (10%) were in the low and medium categories. Then for the moral level of IE students, it is in the moderate category. This is shown by 90 respondents, 21 respondents (23.3%) belonged to the high category, 47 respondents (52.2%) were classified as moderate, and 22 respondents (24.4%) were classified as low. The results of the analysis showed that there was an influence of religiosity on the morale of IE students as evidenced by the value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.469, which contained the understanding that the influence of the free variable (Religiosity) on the bound variable (Moral) was 46.9%.  This means that the higher the level of religiosity possessed by students, the higher their morale, and vice versa.

Abstract

The work demans of migrant workers who are far from ktheir families often make them easily exposed to bad influences in their social environtment. Therefore, PCIM Malaysia provides islamic education to migrant workers so that they can fortify themselves from behavior that is far from Islamic religious values in carrying out its duties, PCIM Malaysia incountered a number of obstacles, but slowly these obstacles were overcome. The study aim to determine the efforts made by PCIM Malaysia in providing Islamic education for migrant workers through Muhammadiyah Charity Business, as well as obstacles and solutions. The research uses qualitative methods with primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data form literatur sources. The results and research are PCIM Malaysia assesing a number of efforts in providing Islamic education for migrant workers through several activities and charities. These efforts are to increase Islamic knowledge and avoid bad influences and promiscuity. As wellas the conclution that PCIM Malaysia has chosen several years in providing Islamic education for migrant workers, namely conducting training, building PAUD, TPA guidance studios, and contributing to the contruction of University of Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM).

Abstract

Purpose – This study intends to examine whether there is a difference in the level of religiosity between students with “niqab” and students without “niqab”. The discourse on wearing the “niqab”l is still a crucial problem in several educational institutions in Indonesia, including Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD). Design/methods/approach – This is quantitative research at the Ahmad Dahlan University Islamic Education Study Program with a random sampling technique. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale of scale 4. The instrument was tested with validity, reliability, normality, and homogeneity tests. The data were then analyzed by using the T-test to test the hypothesis. Findings – The results showed that the level of religiosity of female students with “niqab” at Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) UAD was in the high category. This was evidenced by 33 respondents of students with “niqab” at PAI UAD. 23 subjects (69.6%) showed a high religiosity and ten subjects (30.3%) were in the medium category. The religiosity of students without “niqab” at PAI UAD was also in the high category, as shown by 33 respondents who are without “niqab” at PAI UAD. There were 26 subjects (78.7%) showing a high level of religiosity, and seven subjects (21.2%)were in the medium category. Research implications/limitations – The analysis results showed that there was no difference in the level of religiosity between students with “niqab’ and students without “niqab” at PAI UAD, as evidenced by the t count = 0.452 (sig < 0.05) then Ha was accepted, and Ho was rejected. Originality/value – There is no difference in the level of religiosity between students with “niqab” and students without “niqab” in PAI UAD. “Niqab” is not part of Islamic shari'a so it cannot always be associated with one's religious experience. The nature of religiosity cannot be established simply by wearing the “niqab” without looking at other religious dimensions.

Abstract

Tim pengabdian UAD, Safika Maranti, S.H.I., M.E. (Prodi Matematika, Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Terapan) dan Tri Yaumil Falikha (Dosen Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Agama Islam) beserta mahasiswa dari Prodi Matematika FAST, Najwa Azzahra, Lisa Nessa Safitri, dan  harni Oktasari mengadakan Pelatihan Literasi Digital untuk menjawab tantangan dakwah di Era Digital di Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syifa Muhammadiyah Bantul. Kegiatan ini merupakan hibah Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat RisetMu Majelis Diktilitbang PP Muhammadiyah.“Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan santri dalam berdakwah khususnya literasi dakwah pada media digital”, ujar Safika Maranti. Sejalan dengan yang disampaikan oleh Mudir Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syifa, Yusuf Ade Pamungkas, S.Ag. melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan para santri memiliki kecakapan dalam berdakwah kususnya dakwah melalui media internet. Sehingga setelah lulus dari pesantren, santri diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan media digital untuk aktivitas produktif dan pengembangan diri dan bukan untuk tindakan konsumtif bahkan destruktif.“Peserta yang terlibat dalam pelatihan ini adalah santri yang menduduki bangku kelas 12 sebagai peluang santri dalam menjawab tantangan dakwah di era modern. Untuk tataran kelas 12 kami mengenalkan berbagai macam hal yang harus dipersiapkan dalam litersi berdakwah digital, salah satunya kemampuan membaca dan mengolah wacana dengan baik ketika berhadapan dengan media/perangkat digital” ujar Safika Maranti.Tri Yaumil Falikha menambahkan bahwa dakwah litersi digital selain sebagai sarana hiburan yang postif juga merupakan sumber belajar untuk menumbuhkan daya kreativitas anak didik. Terlebih santri sudah memiliki bekal ilmu dan agama yang diharapkan dapat menjdi santri yang ideal dan mampun memprioritaskan karakter yang baik dan sopan santun saat menggunkan media sosial serta mampu memilah muatan media sosial yang penuh dengan hoaks, konflik penghinaan dan kemaran.
