Abstract

Artikel ini adalah hasil penelitian tentang peninggalan warisan kebudayaan fisik yang juga merupakan produk kesenian peninggalan kejayaan kerajaan Islam abad XVII-XIX. Oleh karena itu ada dua aspek kesenian yang perlu diperhatikan dalam menakar eksistensi estetika ornamen makam kuno. Pertama konteks estetika yang mencakup bentuk, keahlian dan gaya. Kedua adalah konteks makna (meanings), yang mencakup pesan dan kaitan lambang-lambangnya (symbolic value). Penelusuran nilai estetika pada bentuk dan fungsi ornamen makam adalah untuk menggali makna yang mengendap dibalik sebuah karya, dengan demikian eksistensi ornamen dianalisis berdasarkan interaksi dan interpretasi analisis melalui pendekatan estetika arkeologi. Interaksi analisis dilakukan untuk mendapatkan intersubjektif dari data-data yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan riset etik atau berdasarkan data pada kajian pustaka atau berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pendapat dari peneliti. Hasil analisis diketahui bahwa eksistensi ornamen makam adalah selain sebagai identitas budaya masyarakat setempat juga sebagai gudang informasi yang dikomunikasikan melalui simbol-simbol visual dalam pola atau motif pada ornamen makam.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat mengetahui cara pembuatan karya seni terapan dari media biota laut. Serta dapat mengetahui bentuk-bentuk apa saja dapat dibuat dari biota laut. Objek pada penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas IX SMPN 11 Satap Pulau Masalima yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah melalui tes, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yakni ada beberapa tahapan dalam Pemanfaatan Biota Laut Dalam Berkarya Seni Terapan di SMPN 11 Satap Pulau Masalima.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using collage media on the waste utilization ability of third-grade students in Cultural Arts and Crafts learning. The research was conducted at UPT SPF SDN Kakatua Makassar using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were third-grade students who participated in collage learning activities using plastic waste as the main material. The results of the study indicate that the use of collage media made from plastic waste has an influence on students' ability to utilize waste materials into artistic works. This can be seen from the students’ ability to identify and select plastic waste materials, arrange pieces of materials to form image objects, and produce collage works that vary in terms of shape, color, and composition. In addition, collage activities also increased students’ engagement in the learning process through collaborative work, discussions, and participation in the process of creating artwork. These activities provide concrete learning experiences that help students understand that plastic waste can be reused and transformed into artworks with aesthetic value. Therefore, the use of collage media made from plastic waste can be an effective alternative learning medium in Cultural Arts and Crafts learning at the elementary school level.

Nur Qalbi. 2026. The Effect of Implementing the Local Culture Board (PBL) Learning Medium on Student Learning Outcomes in the Cultural Arts Subject at SD Inpres Bone, Gowa Regency. Elementary School Teacher Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Education and Elementary School Teacher Education This study aims to determine the impact of implementing the Local Culture Board (PBL) learning media on student learning outcomes in the Cultural Arts subject for fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Bone, Gowa Regency. The background of this study is the low level of student learning achievement caused by the use of traditional teaching methods that do not actively involve students in the learning process. This study is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design that applies the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample size was 25 students. The measurement tool used was a learning achievement test administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of the PBL media. Data analysis methods used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with a t-test. The results of the study show that the mean pretest score of 33.4 increased to 80.6 on the posttest. Furthermore, the hypothesis test yielded a calculated t-value of 18.047, while the critical t-value at the 0.05 significance level was 2.063, meaning the calculated t-value is greater than the critical t-value (18.047 > 2.063). This indicates that there is a significant effect of the use of the Local Culture Board (PBL) media on student learning outcomes. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Local Culture Board (PBL) media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the Cultural Arts subject in Grade 5 at SD Inpres Bone, Gowa Regency.
