Abstract

The role training and on employee performance in Departement of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Pelalawan Regency with discipline and work motivation as intervening variable. This research was conducted on Departement of Public Works and Spatial Planning of Pelalawan Regency which aims to know the effect of training, discipline and work motivation variable on employee performance. The population of this research is using cencus technique, which is taken from all employees both civil servants and non civil servants who have attended training for the last 5 (five) years. The analysis used in this research is using WarpPLS analysis technique.The results showed that the training has a significant effect on work discipline and employee work motivation (H1 and H2 are accepted). And While based on the results of testing the effect of training on performance has not significant (H3 is rejected). Thus it can be said that the training does not affect the employee performance through work discipline (H4 is accepted). And indirect testing of training is not proven to have an effect on improving performance through work motivation (H5 is rejected)

Abstract

Perencanaan pendidikan merupakan proses sistematis yang bertujuan untuk mewujudkan visi, misi, dan tujuan lembaga pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, perencanaan strategis berfungsi sebagai pedoman jangka panjang yang berorientasi pada arah kebijakan dan nilai-nilai Qur’ani, sementara perencanaan operasional menjabarkan langkah-langkah teknis dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan strategis dan operasional memiliki keterkaitan erat dalam meningkatkan mutu lembaga pendidikan. Model perencanaan seperti analisis SWOT, model Fred R. David, dan model Pearce Robinson menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis. Implementasi perencanaan strategis dan operasional yang baik dapat meningkatkan efisiensi sumber daya, memperkuat daya saing, serta mengarahkan lembaga pendidikan menuju tujuan idealnya, yaitu pembentukan insan kamil. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara visi Islam dan manajemen modern dalam perencanaan pendidikan agar dapat menghadapi tantangan global secara efektif.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the concepts, principles, and application of evaluation in Islamic education as an important part of efforts to ensure the quality of education in line with Islamic values. This study also aims to identify the challenges of evaluation in the digital age and offer directions for developing a more adaptive and relevant evaluation model for Islamic educational institutions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was obtained through searching and analysing various sources, such as books, scientific articles, regulations, and reports related to evaluation practices in Islamic education. The analysis was carried out by examining the suitability of theories, principles, and empirical findings to understand the patterns, weaknesses, and opportunities for evaluation development. The results of the study show that evaluation in Islamic education not only assesses cognitive aspects but also covers the affective and psychomotor domains in accordance with the holistic objectives of education. Evaluation needs to be carried out in a continuous, fair, comprehensive manner and based on spiritual values that emphasise honesty, responsibility, and accountability. This study also emphasises the importance of adaptive evaluation models in the digital age through the use of artificial intelligence and digital literacy to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and objectivity of assessment.

Abstract

Recruitment practices in various Islamic educational institutions still face a number of challenges. This study aims to analyze the concept, principles, and implementation of employee recruitment in Islamic educational institutions from the perspective of human resource management based on Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review, drawing data from journals published by google scholar, researchgate, garuda, and sinta, published between 2020-2025, related to Islamic education management. Data collection was conducted throught documentation, and data analysis was conducted using content analysis. The findings indicate that an ideal recruitment process in Islamic education must adhere to the principles of amanah (trustworthiness), justice, professionalism, transparency, and anti-nepotism, as emphasized in QS. Al-Qashash verse 26. The desired employee criteria include professional competence, Islamic personality, spirituality, and social skills. The implementation in various Islamic educational institutions shows that although these Islamic recruitment principles have been applied, challenges remain—such as limited resources, lack of standardized procedures, and minimal utilization of digital technology in the selection process
