Abstract

Parents’ low participation in improving the quality of education is an interesting topic of study. This research aims to obtain data on parents’ participation in improving the quality of infrastructure and learning process in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data were the principal, teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research findings, it can be discussed that parents already participated in improving educational infrastructure but not maximized. They donate funds and energy for school construction. While, in learning process, parents contribute to guide, to motivate, to supervise the children, and to facilitate all their needs in learning. Problems faced by parents in improving the quality of learning are lack of time in supervising the children to learn due to busy work and also the low level of parents’ education and income (education and economic factors).

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of student management for children with special needs in a special school. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected using three techniques namely observation, interview, and documentation which involved the school principal, vice-principal, and teachers at SLBN 1 Lima Kaum Tanah Datar Regency as the sources of data. The data were analyzed in three steps, they were data reduction, display, and verification. Trustworthiness data was done by conducting triangulation. This study found that the implementation of student management for children with special needs was run well based on the established procedures. It was proven by the existence of student planning managements including needs analysis and school activities program construction; student coaching management including student discipline coaching through scouting activities and special services for the students; and student evaluation management through learning outcome and achievement of teachers and the students as well to optimize the student management.

Abstract

This research aims to determine human resource planning (HR) and innovation in human resource planning (HR). This type of research uses qualitative research methods. The process of obtaining data is carried out by finding sources and constructing them from various sources such as books, journals/articles and research that has been carried out previously. Based on research, it shows that human resource planning is a function that must first be implemented in an organization. HR Planning is a management process in determining the movement of an organization's HR from its current position to its desired position in the future. An institution must innovate in Human Resource planning, the innovations that can be implemented are, Human Resource Analytics, Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment, Use of Big Data, Machine Learning for Employees, Employee Sentiment Analysis, Virtual (VR) and Augmented Human Resources Reality (AR), Work Flexibility, Work-Based Promotion, Improved Work-Life Balance, Partnership with Education, experience and Performance-based Compensation, Use of Mobile Applications and Gamification

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze competency development strategies for educational Human Resources (HR) to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study. Data collection is carried out through various literature, namely scientific articles on Google Scholar and reference books. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the development of educational human resources can be done through on-the-job and off-the-job training strategies and focus on four main teacher competencies: pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competencies. The implications of this research are the need for regular evaluation of Pre-service Teacher Professional Education programs, the implementation of integrated training strategies, adaptation to the VUCA era, and a focus on teacher competency development. This recommendation is expected to make a positive contribution in efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a key role in achieving organizational success. This research aims to delve deeper into the role of HR in the context of modern organizations. The research method used is qualitative analysis of various data sources that include related literature, internal organizational data, and interviews with HR practitioners. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research findings show that HR has an important role in employee recruitment and selection, employee development to improve their performance and skills, performance management with evaluations and incentives that encourage productivity, as well as conflict handling and creating a healthy work environment. An effective HR strategy is proven to improve employee performance, achieve organizational goals, and strengthen company competitiveness. The practical implication of the study is that investing in good human resource management can result in a positive impact on organizational growth, employee productivity, and corporate sustainability in the long run

Abstract

Teacher work discipline is one of the important factors in realizing an effective and quality teaching and learning process in schools. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect teacher work discipline in MAN 2 Bukittinggi city. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data collection is carried out through various literature, namely scientific articles sourced from Google Scholar, books, and other documents relevant to the fokus of this research. Data collection was carried out online using the keyword "teacher work discipline". Data analysis is carried out descriptively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the most dominant factors affecting teachers' work discipline in MAN 2 Bukittinggi City are work motivation, teacher welfare, and school leadership. Other factors such as teacher commitment, teacher competence, teacher health, school culture, work environment, and government policies also have a significant influence on teacher work discipline

Abstract

Work motivation is an important factor in improving employee performance and achieving organizational goals. Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a crucial role in motivating employees through various strategies and policies. The method used in this study is a type of qualitative research. The data sources obtained in this study are from the results of library research from various sources. The main source of data for this research is the results of research published on google scholar. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of this study are obtained how the role of human resource management in increasing work motivation, effective human resource management strategies and policies to increase work motivation, as well as challenges and solutions in the implementation of human resource management to increase work motivation

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in building quality human resources. In the current era of global competition, the quality of education is the key to producing the next generation who are competent and competitive. This article aims to find out the importance of human resource development in educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach, where data collection uses library research. The main source of data for this research is the research articles published through the Journal and indexed by Google Scholar. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of this study are that the development of educational human resources is the key to ensuring the quality and success of the education system. The development of educational human resources can be carried out through various programs, such as training, workshops, seminars, further studies, mentoring, and certification programs. The government, educational institutions, and professional organizations have an important role in designing and implementing effective and sustainable human resource development programs

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh supervisi akademik, gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan korelasi. Peneliti menggunakan angket dalam pengumpulan data. Data diolah secara analisis kuantitatif, dikelompokkan dan dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 35, 1% dengan nilai t hitung 8.118 > t tabel 1.97253 dengan nilai signifikansi < dari 0,005. (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 25,8% dengan nilai t‑hitung 10.139> nilai t tabel 1.97253 dengan nilai signifikansi < dari 0,005, (3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan supervisi akademik dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 40,8% dengan nilai konstanta sebesar 58,396, dengan harga koefisien X1 sebesar 0,485 dan harga koefisien X2 sebesar 0,391 dengan persamaan regresi linear Y = a + + dimana Y = 58,396 + + . Uji F simultan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi F 0,000. <i alpha (α) 0,05 dengan 65.046 > > 3,04. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa supervisi akademik serta gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat dijadikan variabel prediktor dan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Solok.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) on the engagement and motivation of Junior High School students. (SMP). PBL is a learning approach that encourages students to work on projects relevant to the real world, thereby enhancing motivation and 21st-century skills, such as collaboration and problem-solving. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach through questionnaires given to eighth-grade students in two schools in Sijunjung, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software, with a paired t-test to see the significant difference between the pretest and posttest. The research results show that PBL significantly increases students' motivation, participation, and satisfaction with the learning process. Questionnaire scores on scales 4 and 5 indicate an increase in students' motivation and engagement. Statistical analysis shows an increase in the average student score from 64.5 (pretest) to 77.5 (posttest) with a p-value < 0.05 and an effect size of 0.8, indicating a significant and large impact. This research concludes that PBL has a positive impact on student learning outcomes, particularly in enhancing critical thinking skills, collaboration, and learning motivation.
