Abstract

Creative learning media is media made by teachers tailored to the subject matter/subject matter, theme/subtheme so that it really suits the material and the needs of students. Interactive learning media can encourage students to learn independently, resulting in student-centred learning. As a result, the utilisation of technology to create effective learning media is necessary. Virtual technology accurately represents real objects when providing information. Augmented Reality is one example of virtual technology.  Augmented reality is a concept that combines digital data into the virtual world and displays it in real time. Augmented reality uses the use of objects as markers to display 3-dimensional images, videos, audio, text, and visuals, as well as virtual 3-dimensional tools and practicum materials and simulation videos in learning. Since 3-dimensional objects, text, images, video, and audio can be displayed to students in real time, learning media using augmented reality technology with markerbased tracking method can easily improve student understanding. This research method uses quantitative research method based on literature study and DDD-E development method. At the design stage the author uses a structured design method, namely the Unified Modelling Language (UML) which includes Use Case, and activity diagrams, navigation structures and storyboards. This application is designed with Unity 3D software using the Vuforia sdk. So the results of the above design are implemented into an application called Pustaka Nusantara Application which can display 3-dimensional objects to support creative learning media and realise an interactive learning system.

Abstract

The Population and Civil Registration Office (Dukcapil) has an important role in providing public services related to the processing of population documents. In Klaten Regency, people often face problems in taking care of legal identity documents at the Dukcapil, such as long and disorganized queues. The queuing system that is still done manually is considered less efficient and prone to fraud. The community also has difficulty in monitoring the order of the queue, so they have to wait a long time without certainty when they will be served. To overcome these problems, an integrated and computerized online queue information system is needed. This research aims to design and build an online queue information system at the Klaten Regency Dukcapil using the User Centered Design method. This system can provide better, efficient, and transparent services to the community. System development uses the Kotlin programming language and MySQL database. Black box testing is also carried out to find out the errors that exist in the system. Through the online queuing system, people can take queue numbers online and monitor the queue sequence in real time, thus providing convenience and comfort in accessing Dukcapil services. Thus, the quality of public services, especially in the processing of population documents, can be improved.

Abstract

The problem of selecting laptops that match user needs often becomes a challenge for many users, especially for those who are less familiar with technical specifications. To address this problem, this research develops a Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based chatbot application capable of providing automatic laptop recommendations based on user needs. This application implements the TF-IDF algorithm to extract features from user input in natural language, then calculates cosine similarity with laptop specification datasets stored in a MySQL database to generate the most relevant recommendations. The results of black box testing show that the system is capable of providing recommendations with a precision rate of 87.5%, recall of 83.2%, and F1-score of 85.3% in understanding user preferences based on criteria such as price range, weight, and usage type. This research contributes to the development of NLP-based chatbot technology by integrating the TF-IDF approach for more accurate natural language understanding compared to conventional rule-based chatbots, as well as providing interactive solutions that facilitate ordinary users in obtaining laptop recommendations without requiring in-depth technical knowledge.

Abstract

Efficient and responsive dental clinic services are essential for improving patient satisfaction and ensuring streamlined healthcare delivery. However, many independent dental clinics still rely on manual procedures for patient registration, scheduling, and queue management, which often lead to long waiting times, unpredictable service flow, and a high risk of administrative errors. These issues negatively impact the overall quality of service and reduce operational effectiveness. This study aims to design and implement a web- and mobile-based dental clinic service system integrated with a digital queuing mechanism to address these challenges. The system was developed using Flutter as the patient-facing mobile interface, Flask as the backend service responsible for managing business processes, and Supabase as the real-time database and user authentication platform. Key features of the system include patient registration and login, service booking, automated scheduling based on reservation time or arrival order, real-time queue monitoring, electronic medical record management, and integrated digital payments to facilitate transactions. Based on functional and performance testing, the system was able to reduce service processing time by up to 80% compared to manual methods, minimize data entry errors, and significantly improve the accuracy of queue management. User feedback also indicated that the system provides a more convenient and informative experience, as patients can easily monitor their queue position through the mobile application. Overall, the proposed system effectively enhances service efficiency, data accuracy, and the quality of dental clinic operations, while also demonstrating strong potential for further development and scalability across larger healthcare facilities

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact across various fields, including education and the management of scientific documents. The ease of access to online journals has introduced a new challenge—an increase in the potential for plagiarism. To address this issue, an automated system capable of detecting document similarity quickly and accurately is required. This study aims to develop a plagiarism detection system based on Cosine Similarity and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT). The research stages include text preprocessing, word weighting using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), Cosine Similarity computation, BERT model training, and model performance evaluation. The results show that integrating BERT with TF-IDF significantly improves performance compared to using BERT alone. Based on the experiments, the BERT model with TF-IDF achieved the highest accuracy of 0.9621 in a 10:90 data split scenario, with a precision of 0.8141, recall of 0.7302, and F1-score of 0.8022. Meanwhile, the BERT model without TF-IDF only achieved an accuracy of 0.8529. The application of Cosine Similarity with a threshold value of 0.6 also proved effective in identifying plagiarized and non-plagiarized documents. These findings demonstrate that combining BERT and TF-IDF enhances the accuracy of plagiarism detection systems by simultaneously capturing semantic context and word weighting.
